I truly can't thank Mandy and Katie with Design Visage enough for the incredible job they did on my wedding day! They made me (the bride) and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful, confident, and happy. I felt like the best version of myself. They went above and beyond, even trimming my extensions to blend perfectly with my natural hair, which I so appreciated. They were also so patient and kind as I asked for small adjustments to make sure everything felt just right. Getting ready with my closest girls was such a special, calm, and fun part of the day, and Katie and Mandy helped make it such a lovely experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Everyone did such an amazing job for our wedding. We loved how easy and open everyone was so kind and professional. My bridesmaids mother and mother in law all looked so beautiful. I felt gorgeous on my special day and loved seeing everyone else looking and feeling amazing.

We had an awesome experience with the Design Visage team!! We hired Design Visage for our wedding on 12/30/23. Throughout the entire process (almost 2 years from booking to wedding) they were communicative, kind, and helpful! Amy was awesome and was super flexible when I decided to change my look away from what we did in the preview. She assured me we would get it right and I'm so happy with how it turned out on the day (despite a crazy amount of wind - not their fault!)! The team also did both moms and 9 bridesmaids! Chanel at Design Visage did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and from start to finish - I absolutely loved my experience! Chanel and her team were so professional and easy to work with. I normally don't wear a lot of makeup, and they made me feel so welcome and comfortable, and did an amazing job the day of the wedding! Also Tina at Design Visage did my hair and makeup for our engagement photos, and she did such an amazing job! My engagement and wedding photos were both taken at/by the beach, and my hair and makeup both lasted all day/night for both! They are very organized and professional when it comes to their services, but also maintain a laid back vibe, which is so helpful day off to minimize stress! DV was able to take care of me, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mother in law in a reasonable timeline-- and made us look stunning, nonetheless! Breanna was my makeup artist who made me feel so beautiful by enhancing my natural beauty. She is so easy to chat with and have my makeup desires met. Rita was my hair stylist who made my hair dreams come true. If you are looking for hair + makeup services for your big day, look no further! Design Visage is the most incredible glam company in all of OC! I had been in several weddings prior to booking DV for my own and I loved them so much every time they had done my glam- no matter the artist! I knew I was going to book them for my wedding so it was nice to have one thing checked off the list without even having to think about it. The easiest decision of wedding planning! For my trial, I had the privilege to be paired with Priscilla for my hair and Stacy for my makeup! It was the easiest experience ever because I loved both my hair and makeup on the first try! They were both so talented and were able to turn my inspiration photos into something I would love! For my wedding, I had 10 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and me who needed glam and this was no problem for DV! They sent 5 amazing artists (including Stacy and Priscilla) and they even travelled to San Diego (for a small travel fee)! We started at 8 a.m. and were all ready at 12:30 p.m. All the artists were so talented, efficient and so sweet! I have to give a huge shoutout to Stacy and Priscilla, though! My day was stress-free because they did my hair and makeup so beautifully and with so much care and precision. I think if a bride doesn't love her look, it could be a much more stressful day, so I was very grateful for them. I owe a lot of my calm that day to them! Hire Design Visage for your wedding day Glam!! You will not regret it. =] Jackie and Ashlyn are so kind and attentive. Jackie is the owner of Design Visage and took my initial call to discuss their services and answer any questions I had before signing the contract. Ashlyn was available throughout the planning process to answer questions and help me set my trial with my artists. Edith and Eng were my artists/ glam team for my wedding day and I couldn't be happier! Not only do both Edith and Eng know what they're doing in terms of hair and makeup, but they were also so kind. For my trial, I discussed two hair styles with Edith. I ended up loving both hairstyles and decided to ask if Edith would be able to switch up my style on my wedding day. Thankfully, Edith was available and I was able to have two looks. Eng made me feel beautiful with the makeup she did for me. Not only did the makeup last all night, but I didn't feel cakey at all. She made my MIL, mom, Matron of Honor and sister look beautiful. I can not thank Design Visage, Edith or Eng enough, please hire them!

I couldn't have chosen a better hair and makeup team for my special day. Let me begin with where it all started, I emailed 6 hair and makeup vendors for my special day. Design Visage was the only company to actually call me and talk with me about my vision, desires, and plans for my wedding. After talking with Jackie on the phone, I knew that I would book Design Visage. Jackie's customer service made me feel as if I had knew her for years and I felt confident that Design Visage would make me feel beautiful on the day of the wedding. Fast forward a few months, and COVID-19 hit our June 13, 2020 wedding date hard. Jackie was so kind, patient, and reassuring with me through the whole postponement and rescheduling process. We had several phone calls and emails trying to pinpoint a new date. I was able to book a new date, which was August 7, 2020. I booked it kind of short notice; however, Jackie was able to accommodate my new date. I had my wedding preview with Kim, who was EXCELLENT! Kim was so kind, warm, and gifted. My hair and makeup looked beautiful. On the day of the wedding, I expressed to Kim that my soon-to-be hubby preferred a "tighter" look in my hair rather than loose curls in the back. Kim was able to deliver it perfectly. When I looked in the mirror after Kim finished my wedding hair and makeup, I cried. I could not believe how beautiful I looked. I am not the most confident person in the world, but wow. On that day, I have never felt prettier and could not stop looking at myself in the mirror. Kim, THANK YOU. My hair and makeup was on point throughout the day and highlighted the features that I love. In addition, my bridesmaids and mom's makeup looked perfect as well, done by both Kim and Breanna. Rachel was INCREDIBLE. I opted out of doing a preview- and was a little nervous about communicating what I wanted day of my wedding- but she was amazing. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted- and she had incredible style herself, so I wasn't worried. My hair was beyond perfect and make up exceptional. I am so glad I went with Design Visage, both for my engagement photos and wedding day! Everyone is so professional and talented. Due to my postponed wedding, they had to change my hair and makeup artist but communicated that to me with plenty of notice (and even set me up with a new trial!). Even with the change, I was not one bit nervous about the services I would receive. What I love about DV, is that the artists just want to make you happy so they ask you lots of questions and aren't offended if you want to change something they have done. I was so so happy with my hair and makeup, and my mom, MOI, and bridesmaids all looked FANTASTIC. All the artists are so sweet and fun too, which helps with the nerves on the day of the wedding! Absolutely loved the work Tiffany did for my hair and make up for my wedding. I have never felt so beautiful in my life!! I did a trial with her a couple months before my wedding and she spent lots of time making sure to get my curly updo exactly the way I wanted. On my wedding day, I had zero stress about how I would look because I had 100% faith in her after the the trial. She was super meticulous with everything. And my hair and make up seriously stayed perfect all night. I couldn't be happier. Michelle (make up) and Emily (hair) came and did my moms' and bridesmaids' as well and were really great. They didn't get defensive at all with all the little tweaks everyone wanted and let them try multiple different lip colors and levels of Smokey eye. I am so happy I went with DV for my wedding hair and makeup. I got married in San Clemente and had a team of 2 makeup artists and 2 hair stylists for 10 girls. Stacy (makeup) and Edith (hair) were incredible--they were so patient with me at the trial and nailed the look I wanted for my wedding. My hair and makeup lasted all night. I just want to first shout out DVTiffany! She did an absolutely amazing job with my hair and makeup on my wedding day! I showed her exactly the pictures I wanted for both and she matched them perfectly! Tiffany is so friendly and a fast but efficient worker. She was able to make my bridesmaids and even my little flower girl who is so shy, talk so much and enjoy the time together on my wedding day. Overall, DV does an amazing job at make all their ladies feel warm and comfortable. They offered me snacks, champagne, coffee and water. I felt like a queen on my preview day! Their prices are honestly the best out there. I had a few other companies lined up to try, but they wanted to charge over $600 just for a preview. The whole costs for my preview and my wedding day (including bridesmaids) at DV was about $600! read more

I had a horrible experience with design visage. The receptionist tried to change the time of my hair trial to accommodate an out of town bride a few days before my appointment. The hair stylist showed up 30 min late to do my hair for the. The trial took 2.5 hours and the hair style looked horrible. The hairstylist dumped powders all over my hair that made it feel gross. She only have one inch curling iron with clip available to use. The curls were way to tight. read more

I was so disappointed that I was not able to have the opportunity to use them for my wedding!! My original wedding date was 4/4/20- which was then postponed to 6/27/20 and then ended up being cancelled! Through my emotional roller coaster, the DV team remained calm and constantly reassured me that everything would work out- and they have!! Before the pandemic hit the US- I was able to work with Rachael B. She is such a genuinely sincere person and wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied with how my look turned out- and I was......which is why I am so disappointed that I will not be able to get that "look/feeling" as she made me feel for my big day. Design Visage did an excellent job with the hair and makeup for my *seven* bridesmaids and me. Because I was doing a Game of Thrones-themed wedding, my braids were very ornate, and they absolutely nailed it! If you are up for it, I also highly recommend DV's airbrush makeup (not cake-y at all) and false lashes (they have the individual lash by lash if you are like me and have trouble with the full strips). The whole DV experience is great as well. Their consultants are awesome, and you can send them your Pinterest inspirations for your hair and makeup. The hair and makeup trial is also extremely fun, as well as gives you peace of mind for your wedding day! Best in class! I can't imagine choosing any other vendor for a big event. read more

Design Visage was so amazing to work with for my wedding! Amy was the lead artist for my hair and make up. She knocked it out of the park for the trial, and when we made slight changes for my wedding day, it looked even better. I had 13 girls getting ready, and we had 5 artists. By the time I got to the venue they were already completely set up and ready to go. They were on top of timing, and we never ran into any issues. Everyone's hair and make up looks were flawless. I came across this company through one of my vendors list from my wedding venue: Surf and Sand. All I got to say is: Perfect! Rachel and her team did a beautiful job on my hair and make up as well as my entourage. During the starting process of booking them, they were quick to communicate with you and schedule your bridal hair and make up day. They would answer my questions very quickly and I had no complaints. On the day of the wedding, they were on time (possibly earlier I can't remember) and managed to get us ready in time to get our before wedding pictures done, especially the last minute services that my mom suddenly wanted to add (they were very accommodating). Rachel was the one who did my make up and hair and I absolutely loved it, including my now husband since I manage to make him cry during our wedding ceremony. I called to ask questions only to be left feeling like I was "talked down to." I had two events, two weeks in between. I asked her why I couldn't do the preview day for the first event (for $150) and $425 for the second day. She said "absolutely not" (exact words with voice projection included), she said that "preview day" is not meant to give you a full look but just to see what colors work." I get that but the next part is what really got me upset, I asked her, ' it's obvious that they wouldn't let someone out with two different colors on each side of their face', she said it's a "preview day" it possible that the makeup artist would even out the two sides but but not always. Really?!?! So, I should I expect to leave the place with two different makeup on each of my face?!?! Might I also add that as I am asking questions, she kept saying "it doesn't look like we might not be the best fit for you" then toward the end of our conversation, it became "it doesn't look like we ARE a best fit for you." First of all, wedding is already expensive and anywhere a bride can save, why can't she?!?! Secondly, I have never heard of not being able to use "preview day" makeup to go out on and feel pretty. Lastly, you should never talk to someone as though you're better than them. read more

If you are on the hunt for a makeup artist (or hairstylist although I did not use this service) for your big day or any event, Design Visage is the place you want! Let me tell you, I do not wear a lot of makeup and I honestly never have had a good experience when I get my makeup done because it always feels like too much and that it isn't me. I expressed this concern during my trial session with Channel and she went through inspo photos with me and made sure I was comfortable with my look every step of the way. The end look was beautiful - she made me feel beautiful! On the wedding day, Channel was prompt, sweet and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. I am so happy I found Design Visage and feel extremely fortunate that Edith (hair) and Eng (makeup) were my assigned artists. They did an AMAZING job on me and on the ladies who joined me on my wedding day. Having my preview with them made me so much more excited about my wedding because I knew that I would be in good hands. Both artists listened to my vision and were just as excited as I was to bring it to life. My now husband saw me on our wedding day and said I looked like a model. I got good vibes from the management from the first time I spoke over the phone with them and from my artists themselves the first time I met them during the preview. They were professional and very patient dealing with my little flower girls too (they were a handful). I just wanted to reach and give our heartfelt thanks to our Design Visage team for my daughter's wedding. Sarah was my hair and makeup stylist and she was WONDERFUL!!! My preview was SO fun and filled me with confidence that she would do a perfect job on my wedding day as well. Not only did she make me feel prettier than I've ever felt before, she was also wonderfully kind and so supportive !! On my wedding day, she was actually early (which was GREAT) and started in with my bridesmaids right away. Rita came with her and was just as wonderful!! In addition to providing PERFECT wedding day hair and makeup, Sarah was also my stylist bright and early the next morning, when my husband and I had our photo shoot at Disneyland. Sarah showed up long before sunrise - WITH STARBUCKS - for both me and my husband! My entire experience with Design Visage was amazing. Design Visage came highly recommended to me by my wedding coordinator and they did not disappoint! Laura C. did my make-up and hair and blew me away. During the make-up and hair preview (which was over a year in advance), Laura was extremely patient and took diligent notes for every single detail. On the actual day of the wedding, she transformed me into the best possible version of myself and the best part was that I still looked like ME! On the morning of the wedding, there were four total DV artists to help get me, 9 bridesmaids, and 2 moms ready. Even though we had a large group, the DV team was efficient without compromising quality and got us all ready to go on time. Design Visage was a dream to work with! I am a tough cookie when it comes to other people doing my hair and make-up and Celina was absolutely OUTSTANDING. She is the first person I've ever worked with where I've LOVED my hair and make-up. In all my years of getting my hair and make-up done, there is always one thing I'm unsure about but not with Celina. Not only is she an expert at her craft, but she is also personable. It feels like you're with your BFF when you're working with her, something I really valued especially on my wedding day when nerves are high. If you are deciding on a HMU vendor for your wedding day (or any event), I give Design Visage 10 stars. They're professional, personable, and experts at what they do. I had 8 people getting HMU done on my wedding day and the entire getting ready process went so smoothly. My bridesmaids kept commenting on how this was the most enjoyable HMU experience they have had at a wedding. Take a little pressure off yourself and book Design Visage (especially Celina). Not only is Chanel extremely talented, but she is also so kind, fun and great to be around. Design Visage Wedding Location: Waterfront Hilton Beach Resort, A Hilton Hotel in Huntington Beach, CA Date: 11/27/21 10/10. Would go again. I contracted Design Visage for hair and make up services at my wedding venue. We had a great experience with the two MUA's we worked with one for my mini ceremony off site and one for my reception day. I do not wear make up. My hair has 4 modes: pony tail, messy bun that melts into a pony tail, down, greasy & thin. I had no idea what I wanted, only what I didn't want but if they thought that what I didn't want was recommended, I would also consider it. I was indecisive and the MUAs (that's make up artist for you noobs) we're super patient with me and willing to try different things in our trial. They acknowledged my concerns. Pros: - COVID safe- they were masked for the whole session. One of my MUAs for sure is vaccinated -Expert knowledge- they all know what they are doing. Team was responsive to my numerous questions. They helped me procure my hair extensions -All the little details- they looked at my Inspo photos, made suggestions. -Bridesmaids and Groomsladies had the nicest things to say about my MUA for reception, Tina. She was very helpful with everyone's touch ups Cons: Direct Communication is nonexistent between you and the MUAs. I didn't even know their names or get to see any of their work until a few days before trials. Any info to pass on to MUA is sent to the company. read more

Chanel has never made me feel so beautiful, she is seriously amazing at her craft. It started with my trial which I had scheduled while my mom and sister were in town and unfortunately my original artist wasn't feeling well and Jackie did everything she could to get me in that week so my mom and sister could be there with me. That means more to me than she will ever know. At my trial Chanel made me feel so relaxed and not rushed and spent like 3 hours on my trial. We did different eye shadow darknesses and 2 different hairstyles and perfected the look for my big day. On my wedding day Chanel and 2 others (forgot their names, I'm so sorry!!) showed up right on time and made all of us ladies feel pampered. I could really tell they enjoyed what they do, they all had such amazing positive energy that made getting ready that morning even more fun than it already was. Great team for all your wedding hair and makeup needs. Schedule a trial and leave with dreamy hair and great conversations to help ease all your wedding day concerns. They will put you at ease and walk you through all your options, pricing, add ons etc. They typically don't do blow outs on site for your big day, but ask Incase your stylist is able to do so. Sarah was ours and she is awesome. So kind and attentive. We can't wait for the big day. We've been really impressed with their communication and kindness. Pricing is fair. Reasonable for bridesmaids/MOB etc. bridal hair is a little more than most. Also regardless if its being styled or an updo the price is the same. Makeup, they offer airbrush, which I assumed would be so cakey but it actually turned out really nice and natural. (They use silicone not water based product) I'll share more pictures of the big day but for now, you can rest easy that this is a great option for your hair and makeup on your big day. read more

Back in March of 2016, I had my hair & make up done, at DV, for my maternity photoshoot. I came in with a make up idea of what I thought I wanted, which was a natural look. I was so pleased with how the artist listened to my ideas & then explained to me what colors would compliment my eye color, skin tone & we went for it. She nailed it! For my hair we did a soft wave, which was perfect for a beach shoot. Less is more sometimes. And in this situation it worked great! Working with design visage made the hair & make-up scheduling for my 2-day wedding a breeze. The leadership worked extra hard to make sure that I had the same artists on both days, to minimize variables and stress for me. They had me send inspiration photos ahead of time so that on trial day, the artists had already previewed what I was thinking. I should note that they also allowed my mother to do a trial H&M! Stacey was my makeup artist -- She was extremely thorough in asking me my preferences for coloring. We trialed airbrush makeup, but I decided that I would prefer non-airbrush (to minimize variables that I was unfamiliar with and because I like minimal coverage). She took notes during our trial and worked to make sure I was comfortable with each detail on the day of, building up from minimal coverage to more, since I described that I usually don't wear much makeup. Everyone in my party looked gorgeous!! Joey was my hair stylist -- It is clear that she loves what she does and thinks carefully and reflects on her design choices. I chose to do an updo one day of my wedding events and hollywood curls the real wedding day. Both days looked gorgeous! She took feedback well from the trial. My only comment about room for growth is that we ran behind on the first day of my wedding, and one person still hadn't had her hair done by our "ready time." After my trial, I sent plenty of feedback via email about what I would like the same/different on wedding day, and all of this was taken into account graciously by the artists. Coupled with finding the most prefect dress, I am a firm believer that hair and makeup is right up there in a wedding day investment. I couldn't be anymore pleased and blessed that I made that investment with Design Visage team and Lauren specifically . The whole process was seamless...initial booking, payment, trial and most importantly the flow of the wedding day. Being in the industry ( managing Lin & Jirsa photography) I know that running on time on the wedding day is crucial. The majority of my experiences in weddings I've been part of, is that the hair and make up run over, taking away from photography ( one of the biggest wedding expense! ) I had 9 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 3 grandmas, 3 aunts and 2 flowergirls + ME to get done ! Woo weeee! But Summer, the manager, did a great job of getting the right amount of stylists and scheduling that everyone was on time and lookin' gorgeous!!! Additionally to running on time, I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my entire life! I did a second look for the reception and Lauren was on time, got me pretty in a timely manner for us to head down to our cocktail hour and take more pics. I found Design Visage on yelp and noticed there were no bad reviews so i decided to book them for my big day. Rachel was my artist and she was absolutely amazing!!!! I have never felt so beautiful. I noticed many artists out there cake on a lot of make up and that was something i did not want on my wedding day. I wanted to look elegant and look like myself. Rachel made me look like myself and made me look beautiful. She also did my mothers make up and my sisters (maid of honor). They both loved their make up and looked gorgeous. Yes, I have to agree on all these people reviewed this place. I just tried their facial last week by one of friend's referral. I should have come here to check the review first! They are trying to sell me things from the moment I stepped into the door. The facial made my face red, but the boss there said it is normal. (I think their boss's name is Caren Lazarus, don't trust her nice smile at all!) After I came back home, I used Aloe Vera for a week without using anything else and finally saved my skin! Also I saw they are doing the makeup and hair style for the brides-to-be. Yuck... (I couldn't say this in front of the excited ladies), yes, it is like those 60s Halloween party. I am not joking. Our photographer recommended Design Visage to us, after looking through her portfolio and noting to us that the best hair and makeup came from Design Visage, regardless of who the stylist was. She felt that everyone who worked for Design Visage did a fantastic job! She was so right! Amy did the hair and makeup for the bride and me, the MOB, and she was amazing! She understood our needs, and how to work with our different textures and hair lengths, and just what to do to help us look our absolute best. She was so helpful and receptive to feedback after our preview sessions, and we both were totally delighted with the way everything turned out on the BIG Day! Design Visage is as good as it gets. I just got married last month, and they were by far my most favorite vendor. I looked picture perfect all night long, and our pictures are so fantastic. I can not thank Georgia enough for being patient with me, arriving on time, and having a calm nature. From the moment I called they were very professional, with excellent customer service. I was able to buy hair extensions that matched perfectly and also earrings and a silk flower for my hair. They have everything you need for your wedding beauty and they will help you try everything. I saved $275.00 on buying a veil. I saw it at Mon Amie, but when I went for my preview, they had the same veil there and let me borrow it for the week. I recently went to Design Visage for hair and make-up for my wedding. The were on the preferred vendor list at the Ritz Carlton and my wedding coordinator Lisa also suggested I call. I am so glad I did. They were the most professional company I have ever seen. And my stylist was Dana was fantastic. Dana and Adrienne were on time on the wedding and all of us looked fantastic, including my mom and grandmother. I also went to the salon several times prior to the wedding for facials, body wraps, and a airbrush tan. Everyone who works there is the best. I will continue to go for waxing and facials, it has made a great change with my skin. Design Visage did my hair and make-up for my wedding in May. All I can say is they are amazing. From the moment I called to the wedding day they were so professional and calming, good for a bride to be. Georgia did my hair and make-up and Kim and Heather were the additional artists for m bridesmaids and mom. We are looked beautiful for the entire day and night. Even my mom who is so picky, loved her look. The photographs are what you have left after the wedding,so invest well in your hair and make-up company. Design Visage did such an amazing job on my wedding day I don't even know where to begin. My bridal party of 11 girls, both my mom and mother-in-law and myself all needed to get done (we even added a little girl the day of and they graciously accommodated), and Emily and her team were on top of it to the point we all got done ahead of schedule! All of the girls, myself included, absolutely LOVED our hair and makeup and got a ton of compliments all night long. I wrote a review for Design Visage several months ago, and now I noticed that it is gone. I am not sure what is up with Yelp to delete positive reviews for a company. Design Visage did the hair and make-up for my wife for our wedding, and she looked stunning. I was concerned when she said she was having someone else do this services, since I love how she looks without a lot of make-up. I booked Design Visage for my wedding makeup and hair and I am so happy I did! The team is very responsive and professional and couldn't be nicer. I worked with Chanel and she was AMAZING! I had very little to change after my makeup trial and she just understood exactly the look I was going for. On the day of the wedding Chanel and Karen did myself and 4 of my bridesmaids and my mom's makeup and hair and everyone loved their look! I've had my hair and makeup done by Design Visage many times by a lot of different artists and I've never been disappointed. They are all extremely talented, sweet and make you look like a more special version of yourself. Every time I've had my hair and makeup done elsewhere, I usually end up toning it down and changing it completely. I got compliments all day and night. When I did the preview , Susie listened to everything I wanted and she added her comments and it came out better than I could have ever dreamed. I worked with Design Visage for my July 2018 wedding. My hairdresser and makeup professional, Sarah, made sure everything was perfect during the preview appointment and replicated the same makeup for the wedding day. I loved the little touch-up kit, which allowed me to reapply lipstick throughout the event. She was especially kind to my niece (flower girl), who really wanted to look like a princess. read more
