This place is awesome. The decor is simple and authentic. Pretty scenic pictures on the wall with German music playing in background. You can order to go at a counter or seat yourself. We started with a Kase plate with 4 different cheeses served with bread. There was one that looked like a mix of egg salad and potato salad that was my favorite. The waitress described it as similar to a beer cheese. There was Swiss, Camembert and a spicy Gouda. My husband had the Gebackener LeberKäse - Mix of Pork, Beef, German Sausage Loaf with potato salad or fried potatoes small side salad. He had it with fried potatoes that had plenty of onions. It was liked a fried thick cut bologna. Very flavorful. I had the Rouladen - A delicious blend of bacon, onions, pickles and mustard rolled together in a thin slice of Beef served with bread dumplings and red cabbage. The rolled beef was so tender and served with a gravy over it and the bread dumplings. Everything was great. They have their ABC license and serve some beer and limited wines. It's a family run business and I know one of the parents speaks German as well observed them speaking with customers while we were there previously. They have dessert, but we had no room for that after eating our app and meal

Wonderful and delicious German cuisine here. I've gone two times now, one time for dinner and one time for lunch so far. The dinner menu and the lunch menu differ which is fine and I like that they do this.the dinner menu has larger portions and more items to pick and choose from. The lunch menu has smaller portions and less to choose from, but non the less it's still good. I like that the restaurant follows traditional European traditions too such as closing for two hours mid day and being closed on Sundays. The staff here is very friendly and the service is good. The ambiance is cute. I will definitely be going back again.

I went for lunch service and wasn't impressed to say the least. The restaurant is cute, and it is seat yourself, and the seating was full of food crumbs from previous diners. The lunch menu is very limited, no fresh green salads or spaztle. I tried the goulash soup for starter, it lacked traditional seasonings and was very greasy making it taste like I was drinking a greasy water broth. It was served with a slice of bread cold and no butter. For my main I had the mushroom schnitzel with potatoe salad. The schnitzel was cooked well, but the canned mushrooms with packaged brown hravy ruined it and the potato salad was cold, no seasoning, and unlike any German potato salad I have ever had. They put pickles in it. It was not fit to eat. The service was no better, only saw the server twice. Once to take order and then to drop off the check. Lunch was delivered by the kitchen and a different server took our plates and drinks before we were done. Only 2 stars, one for the atmosphere and one for prices. I won't be returning.

The food was good and the service was excellent. The menu offerings were exactly what I expected. I'm looking forward to eating there again.

Everything was just ok, its was over priced for what portions you get. For what essentially as the staff called it a fried pork chop.

Stopping by to visit upon entering the atmosphere is just bright, lively and amenable to visit :) We tried multiple things. Between the cakes, chocolate dipped croissants, and other delectables, you're in for an amazing treat when you come here. I legit didn't even know this place existed but now I know why they always run out of food. Seriously, this place is amazing... I can't give enough words of praise as this place is just an IMMEDIATE win. It is just a beautiful venue, great place to meet up and eat delicious baked goods and drink fabulous beverages. I didn't know the drill so I followed the many patrons lined up with their trays and tongs, selecting gourmet croissants, pastries, breads, rolls, doughnuts, cakes, and just one delicious looking treat after another. One pink bread, yes pink! was filled with a tart pink cream, almost like lemon. A savory almond pastry had a sweet cream inside. The tray is a bit heavy standing there waiting to check out. This was lunch time so a line is not unusual. I really didn't know where to look and was afraid I was missing something. Now not taking away anything from the place, the price point is higher end. I mean between $3.50 and $7 per item. The second issue is the location. I hate it. It is located in a tight, busy apartment and business complex with cars and traffic vying for parking, people walking, just not convenient. There are at least 2 other sweet venues on either side of it and the same for them. I wish they would move to a location that is not so hemmed in. But I can seriously see meeting up with friends and having special events here. It is really cozy but classy. I love it!

They are located next door to Lormnava Afrik Cuisine. Female-owned and black-owned....two huge pluses in my book. Upon entering, we were greeted by the hostess behind the counter. They have side seating but it's mainly a takeout spot, which is completely fine with us. You can also smell food from the back once you enter. Truly a great presence for fans of sweet treats. I ordered a cinnamon roll stuffed with caramel apple. One lady ahead of us ordered the same thing I picked for someone else. But once she opened up her case and smelled the goodness, she was like 'I know I ordered this for someone else but I want to eat it!' So she ordered one for herself as well. Ha! Anyway, onto the order. I can say I was impressed. The stuffed roll came out hot and ready to be devoured once we got home. Very sweet and savory. The caramel apple topping was very good. The only slight negative was I would've liked the roll to be a little more soft when you break it apart, but nonetheless it was good with every bite. Not a bad first time if I say so myself. This is bound to become a new favorite spot for yours truly. Till next time :)
