I tried the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries and it was ok. It was more chocolate-y than pistachio and strawberries weren't that sweet but fun to have something like this in the greater Sacramento area. It was $16, so a bit pricey and more gimmicky for what it is. Would skip this next time. Service was quick, Ambiance like a low-key boba shop, nothing fancy.

Angel Wings - photo opp wall outside

It's been about a year since my last visit to Devil & Angel Desserts in the Palladio. I was sad to see the angel wing wall was gone, but what they've added to their menu well made up for it! It was pretty steady busy but still plenty of seating. It's well lit with tall ceilings. And a super cute photo wall. The girl working at the counter was nice and helpful answering all our questions. We ended up ordering a Vanilla Soft Serve, Thai Milk Tea with Boba, Strawberry Smoothie Crackle Cup (pretty cool), Dubai Chocolate Strawberries Cup and a Hot Cheeto Korean Cheese Dog. Our order was ready quickly and everything was just as expected! My youngest loved her soft serve! The Dubai Chocolate Strawberries were absolutely amazing (and I've had them at quite a few different places). My only suggestion would be more Crispy Knafeh. But I love the hardened chocolate on top along with the crunchy pistachios. The Crackle Cup was a lot of fun. You squeeze the cup to break up the hardened chocolate before drinking. There's also boba in the drink! So fun! We can't wait to go back!!!

We've been to Devil & Angel Desserts in Concord and heard they were opening up in Folsom. We finally got a chance to check them out. We came in and loved the big wall covered in faux ivy and neon signs. Super cute and perfect for pictures. Walked up the register and ordered. The menu had milk and fruit teas, smoothies, soft serve, croffle, and Korean corn dogs. They also had mochi donuts in the display. We got the ube and vanilla boba soft serve, ube soft serve, and potato corn dog. The soft serve was good but the ube flavor wasn't as strong as I liked. For the corn dog you could only choose 2 sauces, counting sugar as a sauce. Most places I've been to the sugar, ketchup, and mustard are included. Otherwise it was good, but felt the dough was a little undercooked. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in the area, but will probably stick to the soft serve.

I believe this is called a Punch Passion or a Fruit Passion. Either way, you can't go wrong with a Passion Refresher :)

I'm not sure how or why I hadn't tried this place until recently! My daughter and I were doing some last-minute Christmas shopping when we noticed their Korean corn dog display outside the shop. I was initially hesitant--I've never been a fan of Korean corn dogs due to a previous experience at Two Hands. But my daughter reminded me, "All places are different," and convinced me to give it a shot. When we walked in, we were greeted at the register by a friendly young lady who made sure to cover all our likes and dislikes. She asked if my daughter wanted sauce with her corn dog, and she opted out. I also decided not to add popping boba to my drink. The attention to detail and customer care made for a great first impression! The space itself was impressive--open, with plenty of seating, and an adorable photo backdrop perfect for all you photogenic folks! My daughter ordered the potato corn dog with half cheese and half hot dog, while I opted for the Punch Passion Refresher (or Fruit Passion). My drink came out first, and I was blown away! Unlike many boba spots where the drinks can be overly sweet, this one struck the perfect balance. You could still taste the tea without the flavors overwhelming it--a refreshing change. Then came my daughter's corn dog, and she loved it! I watched her take a bite and saw that cheesy pull--how could I not try it? One bite, and I was sold. This place singlehandedly brought Korean corn dogs back onto my food list. It was served hot, with the perfect crunch and cheese pull. Most importantly, there was no hint of rice wine in the flavor (a huge relief for me!). I'll definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu. If you're on the fence about Korean corn dogs or just looking for a great spot to try, I'd highly recommend this place!

Matcha Ube Cream

Devil and Angel Desserts is a cute spot with a nice variety of treats, and overall I'd give it a solid 4 stars. I've only been to this location twice--the first time being a few years ago--so nothing from that visit really stood out, but on my most recent trip, I did enjoy their drinks. They're the right amount of sweet and taste pretty similar to most other boba places, but still hit the spot. They also offer mochi donuts, croffles (a croissant-waffle combo), and Korean corn dogs, which makes the menu feel more fun and varied. When I visited on a Tuesday afternoon, there was only one employee working; it didn't seem busy, so maybe that's just the norm for that time of day. The shop has some cute neon lights that make for great Instagram pics, which adds to the overall charm. It's not the most standout dessert spot, but it's a nice place to stop by if you're in the area and craving something sweet.

Dare myself for a sweet day
Scarlett N.

Crazy hot day 110* good time for a cup of soft serve. Flavor for this week are strawberry and thaitea. My fav one still the matcha. Thaitea is way too sweet than strawberry. Very fast friendly service. Crowded for Sat evening around closing time. Just wish they can run more ac cooler it will be nice.

Vanilla & Strawberry Soft-Serve
Love K.

The name of the shop and multiple options on the menu really throw me off and make me want to assume that this dessert shop may not be the best. We drove by for some soft-serve which my cousin was raving about. I requested samples which they offered without hesitation. I was immediately in love with the vanilla and strawberry swirl. The consistency is soft yet thick (doesn't melt immediately as other soft-serves). I cannot speak on the other items on the menu but the soft-serve is a win for me.

Summer Blast
Christina I.

So good! I had the potato half and half corn dog and Summer Blast refresher. It was such a great sweet and salty combo. The corn dogs have sauces too that could be drizzled on top or on the side. I asked the owner for recommendations on sauce and because I like it spicy she recommended the spicy garlic mayo and mango habanero (I think!). I had the sauce drizzled on top. The place was clean and super cute. It was busy but the owner handled the crowd like a pro! I told her it was my first time at the register and she was sweet to follow up with me about my food. If you're debating to try it out, you should! It's not like your average corn dog (like Hot Dog on a Stick). The options are creative and the batter is fluffy and light. It was kind of fun to eat too. The only regret I have is going by myself. Wish I took my kids or friends so we could have shared different versions. Next time!

Refreshers

Absolutely love the refreshers! Very generous too with the add-on toppings unlike other places where they skim over. Will always go here when we are at the Palladio

Always amazing. Today we got donuts. Soft serve. Vietnamese coffee with jelly. More cute stickers for the kids. Staff is friendly of course.

After enjoying the matcha tea with a friend of mine weeks ago I brought my mom and sister today so that they can enjoy the treats here as well! We ordered an assortment of drinks and sweet treats which were all truly scrumptious delicious! First time trying the cinnamon churro balls, mochi donuts and croissant/waffle strawberry treat. Each one was perfectly baked and just sweet enough to fulfill our cravings. The service is also very friendly and welcoming which makes for an even sweeter overall experience. The sweet and kind lady answered all of my sister's questions and even offered to give her samples so she could decide which drink to order. The interior is decorated in a cheerful and beautiful manner which is very welcome and inviting. Surely going to return again many times when craving boba, sweets and an inviting environment!

So I did a DoorDash order. I ordered the strawberry waffle dessert. Took a bite was delicious don't get me wrong. These are so good. But when I picked to eat one of the strawberries. There was a piece of hair on the strawberry!! I'm so sad cause now I have to throw the whole thing away. I'm just grossed out about this. This is the second time I found hair on my food from a restaurant. Maybe I should stop eating out sadness. Gave a 1 star cause hair in food is unsanitary.

They had run out of regular boba when I visited, but I gave their agar boba a try and ended up loving it just as much for its light, refreshing texture. Definitely a spot I'd recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying drink and a great little dessert to go with it.

Not fancy, not trying to be trendy... just home-style food prepared with care and ready when hunger hits. The teriyaki chicken bowl was delicious with a savory sauce that wasn't overly heavy or too sweet, but honestly the standout for me was the Filipino food menu. The lechon, chicken adobo, and pancit really make this place feel extra special and local. The food has that comforting homemade feeling that reminds you why smaller family style spots are usually the hidden gems. And of course... I couldn't leave without getting the halo-halo. I went with the avocado version because honestly... green dessert for the green T-Rex just made sense. Instant happiness. I was hoping to try their kare kare, as it's one of my favorite Filipino dishes but sadly it's only offered on Fridays and Saturdays. We went ahead and ordered a pork adobo ricebowl, tapsilog, lumpia, sago't gulaman, and lechon kawali. Everything we ordered was tasty and came out hot and quick. We particularly liked the flavor and tenderness of the pork adobo and the lumpia was very crispy. I opted for the Salty Caramel Truffle waffle scoop, while my husband opted for 4 favor sampler with Banana cream pie, Pistachio, Monkey Business and Sticky fingers. We liked all of them, but we definiely agree the ice ceam flavors are heavier here, likely taliored to a younger audience. As I get older, I find myself opting for simple flavors like Stracciatella instead of my old favorite of chocolate brownie. So while I enjoyed my Salty Caramel Truffle, the saltyness and the generous amount of caramel truffles were a bit too much for me. The portion was very generous and that didn't help the overwhelming flavor bomb. My husband mentioned that he enjoyed the banana cream pie and pistachio flavors more than the more complicated ones. Overall, we like Handel's and always appreciate the various options and the friendly service. Next time we plan to share a four scoop sample and opt for simple flavors.
