Horrible and rude customer service. No one greeted me. If it was showing grand opening wouldn't you at least say hi to customers??or welcome them to your business. After trying to pay, screen went blank and kindly ask I think something happened and is there something I can do to fix it? She already knew what was up and rudely answered.... Yes a white screen popped up and if I received nicer service I would have tipped..... then when the receipt came out...... the workers made a comment... idk maybe because I didn't tip.... Well 4 workers working not one said hi. Not one person said hello or thank you to any of the customers and me included. ..... I even witnessed while I was waiting for my drink... the customer before me wasn't welcomed... the whole time the workers talked to each other and looked as if they didn't want to work..... looked mad, on their phones.... talking to each other and ignoring customers.... Handed her the receipt while talking to another employee. Hey maybe I came on a bad Idk. This business will not thrive if the experience is horrible. To top it off, my drink wasn't even good. Best bang for your buck! I always get the pistachio w/ extra boba. There is no place else you get find good boba for such a good price. This place gets pretty slammed bc of the location which is completely understandable. I recommend going at a less better time so they can focus on making your drink w/ love. I've tried the Mochi donuts a few times and tbh I'm not a huge fan. Maybe it's just me but I feel they're burnt. Service is okay, I always use the kiosk so I can't say much about it but it's our younger generation that works there (if you know what I mean). This was at 12:46 pm. During our wait for our order. I observed one of your employees scooping the panko into a silver bin, when they were scooping the food, her hair made contact with the breading multiple times. Her hair is down to her waist and has a little silver hair accessory equally long. This is a food safety issue. The food was contaminated multiple times. During one of the scoops your employee grabbed her hair away from the bin as it was lingering there for a few seconds. This means your employee was completely aware that their hair made contact with the food, then they proceeded to scoop. I brought it up with a different employee who let her know about my concerns. She stepped away and came back. Don't know if she even washed her hands but did notice her hair was up higher. I did bring it up to her as well letting her know it was a safety food issue. She proceeded to try to ignore the situation and stated "I don't know what you're talking about". I did share it was not personal and that people get sick over the carelessness she was okay displaying. Did not yell at her, did not ask for a refund. It was clear they were all assuming I was some Karen. I did ask for her name which we were given different names. They proceeded to laugh as I was leaving. My sister did not like this behavior and let them know that they were rude. What I got from this whole interaction is that she does not care about food safety or upholding food safety standards. There is no accountability for their mistake. I am sure that if they were to go to a restaurant and someone dipped their hair in their food, they would be upset if they were being gaslit about it. I am sure they would not eat there again. I wasn't making a scene and wanted to make sure the conversation was between her and I. Your business should really re-evaluate who they are hiring. If your employee didn't know what I was talking about then maybe they lack simple comprehension skills. They shouldn't be working somewhere where they have trouble understanding why cross contamination is wrong. I really hope you take this message as not just a complaint but concern. It's your job to train your workers to have some common courtesy and tell customers not to waste over 15 minutes of myself and 6 other customers time waiting in line when their orders haven't been taken yet. Just because you're understaffed, does that mean your employees can't go to the front and say "hello, we won't be taking orders anymore, we will be taking a break." All I saw was a lot of moving, and standing while others in line were curious as to when their orders were going to be taken. ANY of your workers should've communicated to the front and tell us not to wait in line but that did not happen. I don't go out of my way to sh*t on businesses unless they're asking for it. And your blonde employee asked for it when I saw her standing in front of us, and doing nothing but texting you guys when she could've went over any time to the front and tell us not to wait in line. And FYI she had a grin on her face after the line dispersed and I caught a glimpse of her facial expression as I walked out of the mall. So if you trust your employees so much, good for you, good business model, but I know what I saw and you weren't there. Tbh the service was quick! Mango smoothie wasn't great. Ube Sprinkle mochi donut and Strawberry White chocolate donuts I had seemed a little over cooked? Or more cakey than the mat cb mochi donut. When I saw the "no refunds on drinks" sign, that should have been my first clue that I should have taken my business elsewhere. There's actually a sign there essentially saying if you don't like it, it's too bad for you. Regretfully, I didn't take a picture of it. I got three items : the matcha strawberry boba, and two bakery items: an original mochi donut and a Cookie Monster donut. The Cookie Monster donut was too cute to pass up. The original mochi donut was great, with a slightly chewy consistency and sweet, but not overly so. Five stars for the original donut. Haven't tried the Cookie Monster donut yet (but I'll update the review when I do). And I'll say that the service was nice. The employee put the donuts in the bag with great care, as they were delicate, so five stars for him. The store front looked inviting, bright, and clean. Now, to the drink. Sending a drink back is not my norm. With the exception of the Frappuccino fifteen years ago that had actual, multiple, 1cm chunks of ice in it, I don't think Ive sent anything back; I'll just tinker with it at home and make it better. But this strawberry matcha was beyond rescue. The drink was kinda pretty, and it resembled something delicious. The boba was a little on the hard side, but still acceptable. But the flavor of the drink was beyond awful. There was no hint of a strawberry, either a fake or real flavor. Or even a fruity flavor. The strawberry part tasted syrupy and gloopy. Yes, i stirred it. Still gloopy. And then the matcha part. How can you screw up matcha? It's powder. You can buy it from many stores, and if it's fresh it's this pretty bright green color and tastes great. You mix it with water. I just don't know how you screw this up. My drink? was a .. green brown color and it just tasted funky. The closest approximation is like something that's about to go bad in your fridge, as if you left it in there for 6 days and it's just starting to turn. I could not taste the matcha. As I left the mall, I thought, "until now, I never met a matcha strawberry drink that I didn't like." I wish I could give this drink negative stars, it was that bad. I should have just thrown the drink out it was that bad. But no, I kept the drink so I could I could remember how bad it was, and so you could know too so you don't have to suffer. TL;DR: mochi donut was good, service was nice, but you're better off drinking month-old milk in the fridge versus drinking this awful strawberry matcha. read more
