Brought my grandchildren to the Great Mall, and our first stop was Legoland. Of course this place is easy to see, and the kids ran over to look at their many donuts on display. Great location, to catch everyone's eye. There were young staff doing counter service. They were busy bees, but very friendly. The young lady explained the different flavors and was patient. We ordered a box full of donuts, and sat at the bar seating across from the counter. It's the mall, so you're eating out in the open, with busy shoppers walking by. Typical mall dining. Ordered on the kiosk and service was pretty much non existent, they just placed the order on the counter when it was ready to pick up, I don't think they even called out the order number or name (though it's loud and echoey in the mall food court, so maybe I just didn't hear them). Got the choco sprinkles and cinnamon sugar mochi donuts, and an original korean corndog half n half (sausage and mozzarella) with parmesan cheese and ranch. The sauce you choose comes drizzled on top, not on the side. It tasted like hidden valley which I'm not a big fan of, but they didn't put a lot, so it was fine. There was ample cheese in the corndog and the batter wasn't too heavy, which I appreciated. Nothing special about the mochi donuts besides the cute faces... I prefer these more on the plain side. I had originally ordered a hot cheeto hotdog with sausage. Employee gave me a Potato hot dog with sausage and I said that wasn't what I asked for so then she said she would give me another one but then I had to return to work so then she said I can stop by after work to pick up the Hot cheeto hotdog one I had originally asked for. My daughters and I couldn't resist visiting Devil Angle after enjoying it in Sacramento, CA. They were thrilled to find it in the Bay Area, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We tried the Dubai chocolate cup, which was quite expensive. It had an unusual bitter taste, possibly from the strawberries. Considering the price, the quality of the strawberries should be better. The chocolate didn't balance or mask the bitterness. It was like taking medicine with an aftertaste, and my daughters wouldn't even finish it. It would be more cost-effective to make it at home. I also ordered the mozzarella potato dog, but it was too doughy. I've had it at another location where it was good, but this one felt like eating a bunch of squishy dough. I would not return. I recently had a Mochi Donut at a Yelp Elite event and when I saw this location at the Great Mall I knew I had to have another. They had self-order kiosk to place the orders with no line when I walked up. I just wanted a donut this day so I went with the Cookies and Cream flavor. I honestly love this kind of doughnut. It is not oily or leave a greasy taste in your mouth after you eat it. I can't say much about the service unfortunately since the only interaction I had was when they called my name. After receiving my drink, I noticed there was sticky syrup residue on the outside of the cup. Unfortunately, it transferred onto my shirt and left a visible stain. I believe the drink may have been overfilled or mishandled, and the cup was not wiped down before being handed to me. Additionally, the pickup table where drinks were being placed was visibly dirty and covered in syrup residue, which supports how the outside of my cup may have gotten contaminated in the first place. When I initially asked to speak with a manager, I was told there wasn't one available. Shortly after, someone named Collin came forward and claimed to be the manager. She was professional and kind--she offered me a full refund for the order, which I appreciated. I explained to her that the serving table being sticky and dirty was clear evidence that the syrup on my cup didn't just appear on its own. However, she also offered to wash my shirt, which I felt was unnecessary and impractical. Most customers, including myself, wouldn't be comfortable having a personal item washed on-site, especially without proper facilities. A more reasonable gesture would have been offering compensation for cleaning or the item's value. However, during our conversation, two employees (a male and a female, both appearing to be around 18 years old) repeatedly interrupted and argued that the stain on my shirt wasn't the store's responsibility. This continued even as I was trying to speak calmly with Collin. I explained that part of good service includes handing over clean cups and keeping the pickup area sanitary. While I'm thankful for the refund, I want to respectfully point out that when a customer is speaking with a manager, other staff members should not insert themselves into the conversation unless the manager specifically asks for their input. Arguing with a customer in that situation is inappropriate and unprofessional. read more

I only come here for the pistachio smoothie and soft serve--those definitely deserve the 4 stars. Ever since It's Boba Time left the bay there has been a pistachio smoothie sized hole in my heart that no other place could fill until Devil & Angel's version came. They use actual pistachio chunks in it--not that powder/syrup bs! The soft serve also hits the spot but the rotating flavors tend to sell out fast so I feel you gotta be a little lucky your flavor will be there. I wouldn't get the smoothies with boba though because the heat from the pearls melts the smoothie to a not so great soup. You order through a kiosk as well they have about 2 and a cashier if the line gets too long. Our favorite spot to stop at after a day of Legoland Discovery Center. Their strongest offerings are their donuts which have always been fresh and tasty. I can't speak to all their flavors but my kids love their sprinkle and cookie monster options and I love their chocolate donuts (both options). Their bobas are ok but nothing out of this world that you wouldn't find at any other boba shop AND their prices are really high so I would skip drinks though we love the boba and donut combo :) Staff have always been accommodating and helpful.
