I have visited Juneau for business on 4 occasions my first stop is always the Narrows. So far they are the only establishment in town with an impressive gin collection. Discover is an accepted form of payment. There is a 2.5% surcharge added to credit card sales. There is a $2.50 up-charge added for to-go items. Wine and beer are available for purchase with a 3% liquor tax. Every step of the process is self-serve; from ordering food, picking up food and bussing own table. The entire establishment is in refurbished functional sheds. Seating is outdoor picnic table, covered tent style. There are several photo stand-ins on the property creating fun photo opportunities. During our visit, I slurped on a pint of Alaskan Husky IPA for $8.50. We shared a small (qty 6) Mini Crab Cakes for $10.95. I ordered a pound of Alaskan Red King Crab for $85; served with garlic rolls and butter. This crab was a test in patience to say the least. Lots of cracking needed to be done and it wasn't easy.
