    Passion fruit donut

This place is great! It doesn't matter whether you're vegan or not, they make great donuts! I love the creativity of the flavors, like passion fruit and pistachio. They have a lot of the classics, but they're also great at luring you in with a new favorite. With real ingredients and high quality products, this is a small business worth supporting. Not only do they make great donuts, but they're also great people. I first was introduced to them a year ago when I was helping hand out food to victims of the wildfires and they showed up with donations to give out. They made the track all the way from Long Beach!

This place is such a gem! All vegan and super delicious donuts! I've tried soooo many flavors and I love them all! Can't tell the difference from a non vegan donut! One of my favorites is the cinnamon roll; super soft and just the right amount of sweet! The service is the cherry on top! The owners are the sweetest!

Devi's Donuts and sweets is a Great little privately owned Donut shop on Anaheim Street in Long Beach. It is so small that you might drive by it and not think anything of it. But it is a small, humble gem of a donut shop and i am glad i stopped by. The exterior walls of the store are covered by a green vine which is very fitting taken that it is a plant based donut shop. The interior is very basic but colorful. The parking lot is very tight but grab and go is usually the order of the day when it comes to donuts. Everything is Vegan, beautifully crafted, well presented and absolutely delicious. They have very unique flavors like Lemon Pistachio, Crème Brûlée, Lemon Meringue and so many more. I came in this morning for the first time. As i walked in, i was immediately greeted with a smile. The owner was super friendly and helpful in helping me decide. I got 4 Donuts. Crème brûlée, Bischoff, Espresso and Boston Cream. I Loved all of them but out of these 4, I think that my personal favorite was the crème brûlée. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other flavors. PS: They accept Venmo which is a plus. I highly recommend Devi's Donuts and sweets.

I love the donuts here! And it's such a cute interior :) I love how it's family owned and feels welcoming. Service is great

Delicious as always!! Thank you for always being wonderful and kind, and making tasty donuts! It's always a joy to visit you at the cute shop or at the farmers market! The lavender lemon and mango tajin are amazing and we have to get our favorites boston cream and espresso filled plus a chocolate pistachio. The custard and creme fillings are so fresh, the mango tajin has Real mango pieces

    Deliciousness!!!

My husband surprised me by driving down to LB after work so we could try this place. Everything is vegan! This a small family owned business with the most adorable kids. We met one of the owners after we entered. We also were greeted by one of their daughters. The owner was so kind and explained what was in almost all of the donuts and pastries. I chose the cinnamon bun and a strawberry glazed donut while my husband chose a chocolate donut and something else lol. They all looked good. There was a nice variety of donuts to select from. I believe each was between $4-$5, which is a good price. They're located on Anaheim St beside a floral shop. The parking is tight and tricky. The shop is modest but nicely decorated. The best part...the donuts and cinnamon bun were DELICIOUS!! This was worth the 45 mins drive. Of note, the owner mentioned they attend the Brentwood farmer market on Sundays. Great option for those of us on this side of town!

Just started a new job here in LB so I'm always looking to try new places. Let me just say these donuts were INCREDIBLE! I had to physically stop myself from eating all four in one sitting. Can't wait to come back and bring my family

GF/VG donuts. You could tell dough was stale, had a bad sour aftertaste. Not discrediting their vegan donuts but GF 10/10 do not recommend!

GF/VG You can tell dough was definitely not fresh, GF donuts stale & left a sour tasting aftertaste, not even edible.

I'm not even a donut person. But I saw the stand today at the farmers market and was intrigued that they're vegan. I'm also not even a vegan person! With that said, this is the best donut I've ever had. They're better than the designer sidecar donuts. I tried the blueberry donut with the banana filling, and it just tastes so incredible. This is definitely a special doughnut. If Homer Simpson were a real person, I would definitely be bringing him here.

I've seen the videos on IG and been wanting to come here a long time. Luckily we were in the area today and dropped by. My daughter ordered the s'mores donut, and I got the gluten free, vegan chocolate pistachio donut. I highly recommend especially if you have dairy and gluten allergies like me. The donut wasn't too sweet, and was light and fluffy. Omg! It's so good! My daughter even recognized their pop up at CSULB, which they happen to go on Thursdays. If I could, I'd give 10 stars!

I love the variety of flavors and the donuts are so so good!! Such a nice family as well. I love donuts with filling and they have so many to choose from.

    Donuts for my sons birthday
    Christine R.

My son has a dairy allergy so we found Devis because the donuts are dairy free. We ordered 4 dozen donuts for my son's 5th birthday. We had 20 kids and 15 adults. Everyone loved them! To be able to have a sweet treat my son can enjoy and everyone else loves is a win! Thank you for helping to make my sons birthday special

Having a friend who's vegan has opened me up to places I'd never try. Devi's has been the GO-TO any time we hang out. The perfect assembly of treats. Creme brûlée was outstanding! It snapped so loud all my friends heard it. The pink filled with jam reminded me of old fashioned jelly donuts I'd have as a kid. The coffee was INSANE. Filled with tiramisu like whipped creme. We WILL be back!

This time (yesterday), however, was not nearly the same experience. First of all, I realized we couldn't book a table for 8 people, so me and my friends book 2 tables for 8.30PM. I called asking if it's possible to put our tables together close or side by side, they said they will try their best. We all showed up at 8.30 and waited until around 9-9.15 because they only had 1 table ready. Ok. Come the time the other table opened and it's not even that close to each other. But it's okay, I respect the limitations on this part. No one came to us to take our order or even give us water until way later, and we got our drinks at 9.45. Another critique is that my friend called and ask how much corkage fee and they said $25. It turned out to be $40. Another disappointment, but it's ok. Not much can be done bout that part. Next thing is the food. We enjoyed the fried green beans. Crudo was really really salty, and it's not only 1 person thought that. We wondered if the kitchen mistakenly salted the fish twice. We enjoyed the peach salad. We ordered a few different pasta and the tagliatelle in particular was disappointing. It really lacked flavor that we had to mix the other pasta dish sauce to it. The pork plate was good, a bit small but we enjoyed it. Now the mussles and frites were disappointing too. The sauce just didn't do it for me (other friends agreed). I always talked really highly about Nonna Mercato (I also enjoyed the brunch so much) and always told people that this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Long Beach, but this one really missed the mark for me and my friends. I don't know if this would make us want to go to Summer Nights again next time. For $130 per person (after tax, tip, and corkage fees), I definitely hoped for a much better experience.

Our favorite is the chocolate concha. It is crisp, fresh, and has the slightest sourdough flavor. I tried the dona one time and while it was great. It was just too much for me. Literally, we had to bring it home. I would suggest splitting this because of its size and it has a lot of almond and jam so it's hefty. I also tried their jamon which was sooooo good. I would get this again. For drinks we have tried their Atole, Dulce de Leche and Horchata with Cold Brew. My new favorite is the Horchata. It is so well complimented by the cold brew and it's so smooth and not too sweet. My husband also liked the taste he tried but he went with my now second favorite the Dulce de Leche. What I love about this place is that everything is balanced. Its not too much of anything just perfect. The concha isn't too sweet. It's balanced by the sourdough which is complex. The coffees which anywhere else would be a sugar bomb are just right. The sugar highlights the brilliance of whatever it is paired with whether that is bread or coffee.

You have the option to buy them frozen to save for later, but they honestly taste best when you eat them fresh right at the bakery. A quick tip if you order online: Make sure to go straight to the front and let one of the many employees know you are there for a pickup. They only call out names for in-person orders, so you'll be waiting a while if you don't speak up! I also tried their new seasonal sandwich--the pulled pork melt and the very popular nonseasonal sandwich crispy chicken sandwich. Both were very filling and packed with flavor. Our order came out in about 10 minutes or so, not too busy. Total came out to about $42 which is quite expensive for the amount of items in my opinion. 1. Potato Balls - By far my favorite menu items from the visit, they weren't as crispy/crunchy as Portos but they're bigger. Portions are big and it's filled with your choice of filling, very delicious, highly recommend 9/10 2. Empanadas - Usually I love empanadas but these were a bit disappointing on my end. They were softer than empanadas that I usually have, although delicious still but definitely not my favorite from the bakery. 6.5/10 3. Breakfast Burrito - Talk about portions, this breakfast burrito is loaded with ingredients, eggs among many other ingredients, super flavorful and savory. It does have a bit of a kick to it which adds to the taste, pretty good! 8.5/10 Overall, a solid brunch spot, although a bit expensive, it's still worth to check them out. Pretty decent tasting potato balls, breakfast burrito is big in portion and delicious as well, along with their empanadas which can be a hit or miss depending on the style of empanadas you like.
