I purchased a Rolex Submariner from Devon's in Reno back in September of 2020. Made initial contact with the manager Darrin Cody in mid July of 2020 to ask if he had the specific Submariner I was interested in. At the time he did not have it but took my name and phone number. Approximately six weeks later he called to tell me he had received the watch I wanted. I have dealt with so many sales associates in the past where I have given them my name only to never hear back from them again. This experience was different and exceptional. I recently took my wedding rings to DeVons for repair (the center stone fell out of my engagement ring). My rings were not purchased at DeVons. While in the store I found a beautiful little ruby and diamond ring that really complimented my wedding rings so I purchased it and had DeVons weld it in the center of my wedding rings. When I picked up my rings I was blown away by how beautiful they looked (like brand new rings). I was looking for a Rolex Sub 11610 with date, a watch to have for Rolex enthusiast. I called almost all of the Rolex authorized dealers in the Bay Area and everyone of them were saying the same thing, "we have a waiting list for it, would you like to wait"? Out of desperation I called some out town dealers and stumbled on De Vons and spoke to Scott. I told Scott that I will be at the store in about 4 hrs ( Bay Area to Reno). Scott said, I will set it aside for you. My wife and I got there and Scott immediately gave us some water and Starbucks to drink. A very good indication that these people are nice and professional, especially Scott. Upon paying we encountered some banking problem, but it was easily remedied by the staff. I first visited DeVons with a friend who wanted to get his Rolex watch serviced and the crystal polished. My friend received his watch back several weeks later looking brand new and the salesperson, Darrin Cody (also the assistant manager) could not have been more helpful and kind. On that trip I noticed a pair of opal earrings set in gold with small diamonds. I have been looking for gold earrings for awhile and I had never purchased expensive jewelry before. I thought about the earrings all summer and when I returned to DeVons in September, I decided to buy the earrings and the pendant that matched. Darrin again was our salesperson and he discounted the earrings and pendant, gave us jewelry cleaner, boxes and cases. I loved the earrings and pendant and Darrin told me to wear them and enjoy them, which I did. A short time later, the chain for the pendant broke and I thought I lost the pendant, however, my friend found the pendant, but the chain was lost. I called Darrin and he said to come to the store and although he would be on vacation, he would leave a chain for me. He left two so I could choose which one I preferred. The next week, the clasp on the earrings broke, and when I called again, I was told to bring them in. The jeweler was there and he fixed the earrings. I was thrilled because I live in South Lake Tahoe and it would have been a week or two if they sent the earrings in for repair and it's not the shortest trip to Reno. Then last week I noticed one of the opals in in the earrings had a crack. I called Darrin today and he said just to come in and he would take care of me. I went to DeVons and he told me he already ordered a new pendant that was on it's way. When I explained it was the earrings, he said they had another pair of earrings and I could exchange the ones I had for those. He told the woman helping me to just write that the earrings were defective. I cannot be more satisfied with this store, which is employee owned and definitely goes above and beyond to guarantee customer satisfaction. Prices are reasonable for a high end jewelry store, the employees are very helpful, and the service is extraordinary. I cannot praise DeVons Jewelers in Summit Sierra more highly. read more

Hello folks.... I have been a customer at Devons for a while. I bought 4 Rolex watches from them and had quite decent experience in terms of customer support, service. I had been looking for daytona models and have texted /called numerous times inquiring about it - to which I was told all the time that they never had one and it will be year or so when they will get their next piece. one day I texted again and their salesman was texting their boss and accidentally texted me where he was telling him that they had 5 ss ceramic Daytonas and can they sell one to me!!! I was so pleased and immediately came in touch with them and offered to buy one two three how many they wanted to sell to which I was told that I cannot get it because I have not bought watches more than $50,000 from them! This felt to me like a slap on my face. Its like Rolex does create a fake hype about their pieces when Omega makes as good if not better watches and you never have to have such an embarrassment lining outside these dealers. from that day they are not responding promptly to my texts. They asked me to buy gold Daytona, a submariner and then they will consider me for the ss Daytona lol. So I am writing this review for my other friends so they also know the truth of Rolex dealers, including Devons. they lie to you and will keep watches hidden for a Long period as they want to drive your desire up!!!
