If I could leave no stars, I would. After reading all the wonderful reviews, I thought I would give this place a try since I was going to be in the area last night. I walked in and there was one customer at the end of her pedicure with a lady working on her feet. The woman looked me up and down several times and said 'I am sorry, we are really busy and our hot water heater isn't working.' She looks back toward the back of the space and the man at the back is pushing a large metal cabinet back and forth. What a joke. One freaking customer and he is moving a metal cabinet, not a water heater. I will NEVER step one foot in this place again. read more

It use to be really good but now it's terrible after their owners changed. They are usually just 2 people working and so they will try to hurry up to do the next customer. I had really long natural nails and after I got my nails done from here, they began to crack and break. Would not recommend at all! New owners!!! Very attentive. I was waiting for an important phone call so they got an extension cord for me to plug in my phone. They took extra care to make sure my manicure was perfect. Don't waste your money here. it was the worst mani/pedi I've ever gotten. The nail technician barely did anything. She filed my nails a little bit and barely cleaned my cuticles. I even saw her skip some of my toes when she was cutting my cuticles. She then scrubed my feet for maybe 20 secs and a 1min foot massage. I took my 8 year old daughter here earlier this week and we both loved the service! She got beautiful flowers on each nail and I got a gel manicure. Jenny was so great and detailed, she gave me one of the best manicures I've had. They really take their time. The owner was so gracious and put a movie on the TV for my daughter. And wine! The manager and his wife were kind and thoughtful and most importantly they took the time to talk to me about what I wanted to ensure that I was a happy client. Loan did my silver glitter ombré gel manicure for my engagement photos and I was truly impressed with her attention to detail. Two weeks have passed and my nails still look great! I've had experiences at a plethora of nail salons in Folsom. I can see myself staying here for quite a while! I've been getting pedicures here for the last year or so. They're amazing! So much care goes into my callused heels and the massage is the perfect length! I always leave feeling more relaxed. I just recently had my fingers done for the first time. I would usually just do gel manicures on myself as I have the whole set up (uv light, etc) but I really wanted a pink and white and Amy took great care of me as usual! Went here for the first time on April 13th, I have nothing but great things to say! I forgot to get anyone's name, but the lady who did my nails did a fantastic job, took her time and the shape came out perfect, it's hard finding someone who can do the "coffin" shape and she did it PERFECT! Next, the gentleman who did my pedicure was awesome, great massage! Lastly, my eye brows came out perfect! Definitely my new spot to get my nails and everything done. My sister and I came in on a busy afternoon without appointments and were seen within 10 minutes of waiting, not to mention the reasonable prices and excellent work on our nails. I had a basic manicure with buffing instead of polish. They charged $15 for a manicure and $3 for the buffer. I brought in my own buffer, and they still charged me $18. Their prices depend on their mood each day. I do not recommend this place, as there are ample nail salons in Folsom that have consistent charges. read more

Be careful! Just found out I have mold under several of my nails. I had been a satisfied customer for over 2 years. For the past few months the tech rushed through the fill and did not properly buff the nails and the polish did not adhere properly and the nail surfaces were rough. When I got a new set, the tech tore off the old set with an acrylic nail without any consideration to my pain. It was horrible. My nail bed bled. Several times the sanding machine slid off the nail into my cuticle due to her rushing through the fill. I believe due to her not taking time, my nails lifted and moisture set in.I started looking for a new place. And since it is sandal time, the place is always packed with summer customers and I didn't want to go through this again. I found a new salon and Fashion Nails to be the best! They are located by the theaters and across from the outlets. She found the mold and removed my nails very gently and explained what I must do to allow the nails to heal. The owner stated that if you make an appointment, that time is reserved for you. The prices are reasonable and are the same as Folsom Nails. For the same price I now have excellent and safe service. read more

I've been here twice. The first time I got a pedicure which caused a nail to become ingrown and hurt for weeks. The second time I wanted fiberglass extensions but was tricked into getting what the salon calls "gel powder", which is actually just acrylic but more expensive. So I was scammed. A friend and I came here instead of our usual spot for pedicures. The best part was color selection. It went downhill from there. My friend had her foot cut by her nail tech (fortunately there's a CVS for antiseptic wash and antibiotic ointment in the same shopping center) and the person doing her pedicure walked away without a word after injuring her. My nail tech was distracted by the television and signaled for me to move by either slapping my legs or manhandling my feet. Not quite the relaxing experience we were hoping for. Very disappointing first experience. I called at 12:30 and asked if there were any availabilities for an appointment at 1pm same day because I had another appointment afterwards and the gal I spoke to said yes and booked my apt. I drove over from 20 mins away and arrived at 1pm and every chair was full and there were not even enough staff to cover the people sitting in the chairs let alone anyone already waiting. I waited 20 mins and wasn't even told they were behind, I had to ask about my appointment and they said they had more people come in and others ask for colors now...I don't understand what the point was in making an appointment then. I would not recommend them if you have any type of schedule to keep. It was going to be at least an hour before they would be able to get me into a chair at that point and have anyone even free to start the pedicure. My first experience here. I found this place through yelp. I went in for pedicure and it met my expectations. Prices range from a basic pedicure treatment of $25 and up. The place was clean and tidy. They used a plastic bag over the water bowl. My nail technician was Lisa. She was nice, polite and professional. She did a great job on my toes. Prior week, I had stub my toe and the toe nail became damaged. Lisa was careful in treating it. Now, my toe nail looks so nice that you can't even tell that there was any damage. read more
