I took the car here to have the oil changed. The technician broke the oil filter housing as he was changing the filter. Jiffy Lube replaced the housing, but I had to wait 2 days until they could get the part and I had to make another trip back. During the two days I was waiting for them to get the replacement part for the oil filter housing my check engine light came on. I took the car to the mechanic who read the code. It said there was air being sucked into the engine. When he lifted the hood he immediately saw that the oil filler cap was not replaced correctly. Two extra trips (three trips total - two to Jiffy Lube and one to the mechanic) to get everything taken care of. This is the second time I've had trouble with the work performed by this Jiffy Lube. I will not be returning here. read more

This review is regarding the Budget Truck Rental at this location: Following up on my review from yesterday, just found out they also tried to charge my credit card tonight at 2:00 a.m. for the van rental, $150, even though I never got the van because they didn't keep my reservation! Luckily American Express fraud prevention denied the charge from them! So not only did they totally screw up my move day yesterday by not having the van on-site per my reservation, but now they still tried to charge me for it. read more

I'm happy to write about a really great experience I had dealing with James & Santos of Devonshire Car Care Center. I had a slow tire leak and fortunately stumbled onto their shop while looking for a local repair shop to do the tire repair. They were both helpful, friendly & wasted no time in discovering the problem. It turned out it wasn't a simple nail or puncture that I assumed it was....rather it was a (hard for me to visually detect) problem with the steel radial belts coming through the tread, near the inside sidewall of the tire. Then, they observed & pointed out to me that another tire was about to have the same problem. In other words, I could've easily had a blowout in either/both of these tires if I had been traveling at freeway speeds. These guys were honest & gave me their recommendations & didn't try to pressure me. I'm a happy customer and glad I found them and will definitely be back, as they do all kinds of different auto repair work. Their shop is just to the west of the 7-11, and opposite the Wendy's Hamburgers. Thanks guys! read more

Beware, the price on the sign is the cash price. The word "Cash" appears in small letters on the sign, making it hard to see from a distance. If I wanted to pay cash, I could just go across the street to Arco, which is cheaper. Besides, who carries all that cash around with them? Drug dealers?? When I came here, the credit card price was 8 cents higher than the cash price, making this Mobil one of the more expensive gas stations in the surrounding area. I'd skip this one unless I only need a gallon or two. read more

As of last night, this station was 8 cents more/gal than the Arco across the street. However, Mobil takes credit cards...AND EACH PUMP HAS A RADIO SPEAKER BUILT INTO IT. I've never seen that, and I'm not exactly sure how it improved my gas pumping experience, but it was cool. Plus this location has squeegees, which I feel every gas station should be required to have. It's also well-lit, and there's lots of room between the rows of pumps for maneuvering your car. read more

Great car repair service. Not the jiffy lube, I am talking about the repair shop on the Devonshire side. James and Santos are HONEST. I always spend less than I expect. Most times I bring something in they tweaking and it's solved at no cost. James has been here for More than 20 years, I and many others have come to rely on his expert advice and his commitment to save you money. There's never any pressure. He treats men and women the same, with respect and patience and a certain zeal about never recommending work be done unless it really needs to be done. I like that I can pull up and talk straight to these guys, no dumb service advisors and service writers to go through. You are talking to the man who will have his hands side your engine. My family has gone here like I said for more than 20 years, always tested fair always left confident in the repair and price paid. While the shop is not fancy, their communication skills are great. Everything is in the computer, you are called with information and your car is ready when promised. This place is a rare find. read more

This is a Mobil station that is on a busy intersection. It's one of the last stations before you get to the 118 freeway so a lot of CSUN students stop here since it's close to the school. They have plenty of space around the pumps and another nice feature of this station is that they have a sizeable mini mart that is actually connected to the Jiffy Lube next door. So if you really felt like gassing up and then getting an oil change, you could kill two birds with one stone, as they say. read more

Do not rent a budget truck from this business. Was charged a $10 "after hours" fee for parking in the back parking lot (separate from the budget parking lot). I returned in the morning to turn in the truck and was informed of the erroneous fee. Extremely frustrated and will not use again nor recommend. read more

I had my front brakes & rotors replaced here on Wednesday 11/13/19. I was very impressed by Santos. He was very honest, fair priced, has good communication and delivered the service on time and my car runs better than ever. This small garage is next to a Shell station and is very convenient for me. I had a budget truck reservation through DC car care. However I received a call stating they didn't have the truck I reserved, and the guy who I spoke to would not substitute a bigger truck for me. He told me to go to north Hollywood and that it, "wasn't that far," even though the miles you get for the truck are limited. He was rude and hung up on me when I said I wanted to cancel. I was also charged a $50 cancelation fee, which Budget reversed for me. After I was told my truck wasn't available, the website was still not updated so it was possible to reserve the truck that they didn't have. What is the point of having a reservation system?! I concur with Anson W's review. This station misleads customers by posting only the CASH price on it's large price list, which can be viewed from all directions. The ACTUAL CREDIT PRICE YOU PAY at the pump is about .08 to .10 cents HIGHER. To take advantage of the cash price, you have to go into the convenience store, wait in line, physically hand over cash (not knowing if you have enough to top-off). There is another price sign posting the CREDIT PRICE YOU ACTUALLY PAY AT THE PUMP, but it's tucked away, tiny by comparison and not meant for public viewing. Other honest gas stations post clear and unambiguous Cash and Credit prices. It's clear to me this gas station's signs are meant to mislead. Fail! read more

I am reviewing the budget truck rental center they operate out of this gas station. I had the worst experience when it comes to renting a moving truck. I reserved a truck on a thursday for a sunday morning. I was all ready stressed out because on sundays they close at 1 pm . This man's I had to move with in a 5 hour time span. This was the only day I could make my move so I reluctantly made the reservation online. I called saturday night to confirm everything was alright I'm the man I spoke with said yes truck will b waiting for me at 9 a_m. I showed up sunday morning exactly at 9 am and they did not have my truck! I left furious and ended up renting a truck at u-haul last minute which workout . Today I checked my bank account and I was charged 50 dollars! I called customer service and they gave me the runaround! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I would advise anyone looking for a moving truck to never even consider budget rental trucks. read more
