Good pizza and excellent service. Our waitress, McKayla, was prompt and extremely helpful to first time customers. Haleigh, the hostess, was downright awesome. Our pizza was dropped after coming out of the oven and Haleigh came right out and explained the situation. The extra wait was essentially imperceptible as it only added another five or so minutes on. She comped the pizza without even saying anything which felt excessive considering the minimal impact. Great food and can't say enough about the staff! read more

If someone would like to do a case study on amazing customer service, they should come here to Dewey's Pizza and ask for Lexi and Ashton. I ordered an 11 inch pizza, half bbq chicken and half porky fig. About 10-15 min after ordering they brought out my pizza and right away Lexi apologized saying the pizza is a bit overdone and darker than their standard. Rather than throwing it away, they gave it to the table for free and said we could snack on this while the new pizza was being made. 10 minutes later, the "correctly" cooked pizza made its away out. I put "correctly" in quotes because the first pizza was only slightly overdone. Definitely speaks to their high quality standards! When I asked for the checks Ashton said there was no charge FOR BOTH PIZZAS and apologized again for the first pizza being slightly overdone. It's been a super long time since I've had exceptional customer service like this. Again, shout out to Lexi and Ashton! Overall the pizza itself is solid, 4/5 stars, the quality control is 5/5, and the customer service is 6/5 stars (no not a typo). I was just visiting for a business trip, so I had no idea Dewey's is a chain since this location feels more like a local joint. Next time I'm in the area, you can bet your pizza I'm definitely coming back here! read more

I've had pizzas from this restaurant on four separate occasions, and each time my pizza was delicious. I like the food, and I like the atmosphere, and they've done a great job with decorating the restaurant and making you feel right at home. They have a great bar to pull back a beer, and get a pizza. They serve wine too, and that's a great pair with their food offerings. If pizza and a salad are on your radar this is the restaurant to visit. They do a great job of getting your pizza to your table or to go in a timely fashion, and their service is excellent. read more

I never thought I would fall in love with a pizza place in such a small town. Pizza comes from places like Ray's in NYC or UNOs in Chicago. Dewey Pizza beats them all with their crust. The crust is perfectly crisp. Never soggy. You can mix and match pizzas, but we never do. We always order the meatball pizza. We like the zing to sauce and perfectly melted cheese. The deserts are pretty good too; however, the portions seem much smaller than when they first opened. They have some pretty good cheese cakes and carrot cake. read more

This isn't as much of a review of Dewey's as a whole but rather this specific location in O'Fallon IL. I'm not sure why but the last few times we've ordered from them the portions have been getting smaller. Less salad, less dessert, and pretty sure even less toppings. I'm not sure if it's under new ownership, management or whatever but this is not a one off situation. This has happened the last several times we've gotten food there. Dewey's offers a bullet proof recipe so I can't criticize the food taste and the service is decent but when you pay 50-80 bucks for dinner and you're used to Dewey's typically fair portions and they take that away... it's not worth the money anymore. To be honest we're not going to be going back to this Dewey's location anymore. read more

It doesn't get much better than Dewey's. My mom and I dined in on what happened to be their very first day open in OFallon. We figured it would be a rough start because it's their first day open, but you wouldn't have known they hadn't been open for years. Went here for lunch with some coworkers and we shared a pepperoni pizza. It was pretty good. They have many specialty pizza options as well like the porky fig which has a fig jam base, mozzarella l, fontina, prosciutto, caramelized red onions and Gorgonzola. This is the place to go for brick oven pizza. While Peel is great competition something about the way they make their crust sets them apart. The staff is very attentive and the Dr. Dre pizza is one of my favorites. Anything with the white sauce is also a winner. read more

With Peel Pizza in town, I thought I had my pizza spot settled on, that is until Dewey's Pizza came to town. I gave Dewey's in OFallon three stars because while we really enjoy their salads and pizza, their servers are WAY too grabby. Anytime we've eaten there they always take my salad plate while I'm still eating my salad!! Nothing irritates me more than this. I order and pay for a salad and they just walk by and before I can say anything they've taken my salad away and are gone...I eat part of my salad before pizza comes and then I enjoy the rest while enjoying my pizza. They've done this every single time we've eaten here! Last time I had just taken a bite of pizza and a girl, not even our server, walks by and grabs my salad plate which was sitting next to my dinner plate and says "let me get this out of your way" as she's walking away with my salad! Finally! A great pizza place in the Metro East! The crust, toppings, sauce, and cook have been on point each time I've been here! Unlike so many places in the area the sauce is NOT super sweet.
