Less than 2 hours later, a wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional tech arrived. He found the problem and fixed it. He then did a complete inspection of the plumbing in both units of my duplex. Wow. Service like this is simply outstanding.

Turns out that first call heating has a stellar crew and I am extremely happy with the work they did and the patience they had with my concerns. I haven't had to deal with new furnaces for a long time so they definitely did a good job on that. I don't know how they price compared to other shops because that's not something that you can really just look up or call and ask. After having a brief conversation with the owner on one of the issues I was facing concerning the warranty company he took the time to really break it down for me as to how they work and that my warranty company was the one that he chose to stay with. Over the years, he used to have a few others, but apparently they did not serve the customer very well (and them). I had a Lennox Elite installed and it's definitely a nice furnace...I just hope that it outlast the other brands out there. The warranty on parts and labor seem to be pretty comprehensive. What is also nice to know is that with first call heating and cooling, they have a very nice 100% satisfaction guarantee for the first year. The way that it was explained to me was if anything goes wrong at all, I don't pay a dime and they come out and fix the issue should there be one. I'll wrap this up by saying that when the crew comes out to your house to do an install, they are extremely polite, kind and very conscientious of what they're doing. I would highly recommend first call heating and cooling without a doubt.

They are always straight forward in service call situations laying out the problem and offering multiple options for repair or replacement. When it came to replacing our furnace Todd offered us multiple options and crafted a custom solution to relocate our furnace upon our request. The work was done quickly and they were very clean. Their Preventative Maintenance program is second to none. The price is affordable and the service provides great value in keeping your units running efficiently. Jake just completed our annual air conditioning PM. He was thorough and answered all of my questions regarding our current unit and where we may be heading in replacement. In December 2025, I purchased a new furnace and condensation pump from this company for over $4,000. Just a short time later, the condensation pump stopped pumping water properly. I contacted Heating and Cooling Solutions, and they sent a technician to my home. The technician determined that the plastic drain tube they had originally installed was too long. They simply cut the tube shorter to correct the problem. Despite this being an issue with their original installation, I was charged a $129 service call fee plus an additional $150 for approximately 15 minutes of work. I called the owner, Todd, to ask why this repair wasn't covered under the warranty, especially since the condensation pump had just been installed by their company. Instead of standing behind their work, I was told that I should have been performing "preventive maintenance." I find it unacceptable to be charged nearly $300 to correct what appears to have been an installation issue. A company that installs equipment should stand behind its workmanship, especially on a recently installed system. Instead, I was left feeling like my concerns were dismissed and that I was being charged for their mistake. This experience has left me completely disappointed. I expected much better customer service and integrity after spending thousands of dollars with this company. Unfortunately, I feel these business practices are unfair, and I will not be using or reccomending Heating and Cooling Solutions again.
