My wife enjoyed but didn't love the shrimp and grits but the shrimp size was massive. The burger was delicious and juicy. I substituted some things and added my on HYPEBEASTBURGER spin on it. As far as I am concerned, there is only one place I head for sushi in Pensacola and that is Dharma blue. The sushi is always fresh, always consistent. and they have an amazing alternative menu for friends that are not sushi fans. I haven't been to Dharma Blue in over 10 years. My SO hasn't been since 2019. Last night we had the best experience. Hannah was our waitress and she matched our energy perfectly. She was enthusiastic about the fact that we were back after so long and graciously explained the specials (even after they sold out of fish when we sat down). We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes (which were amazing) and followed it up with a few rolls. The only one that I can remember is the summer roll- must try! Dharma blue is a solid choice for dinner. It's a cozy little place with good service. My favorite dish their is the sun-dried tomato fresh catch. The fish rotates because they use local caught seafood. The selection is always good though. Tonight it was triple tail, redfish, cobia, & swordfish. I get fish every time I come, and it is ALWAYS fresh. (I'm picky about fresh fish too)! My husbands favorite is the Kims Special. Although not on the menu, they often will accommodate you and make it if they aren't extremely busy. Never had them decline. It's fish, octopus, seaweed, a spicy mayo, shrimp, cucumbers, & seaweed salad. He LOVES it. Not my kind of food but several others we've taken their have loved it too. See the pics for an idea of what it is. We've also had the paneed chicken & blackened fish. The dharma salad comes with most entrees and is a GREAT side salad with almonds & mandarin oranges. I also love the sautéed spinach. The fried green tomatoes are okay. The bread pudding is TO DIE FOR. The cocktails here aren't my fav but their okay. Full bar is available. The service is always good. And wait staff is knowledge of the menu. A nice little patio offers outdoor seating as well. Overall this is a consistently good dinner spot and I highly recommend! Great GNO location, with indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations encouraged, as wait times can be over an hour. Parking can be hard to find since this restaurant is in historic downtown. Restrooms are clean, outside seating is pet friendly, and most of the staff is very friendly. Inside, the noise level is energetic, so don't expect a "quiet meal."
