My wife and I thought we'd like some Korean fare for lunch one day, so I checked out the reviews on Yelp and this place had the highest star rating so I decided to go ahead and give it a try. The restaurant dining areas are nicely appointed and have unique designer touches. The menu is a bit eclectic offering Japanese, Korean, and Chinese options. Everything is a bit on the pricey side with the Korean BBQ offerings being expensive, to say the least. We ordered Korean, I asked for my meal to be prepared "extra spicy," and received a dish that didn't have any kick at all. When I mentioned this to the waiter he said he typed it in, but the cooks have had problems in the past with making food too hot and having customers complain. That didn't make me happy. Overall, it was okay. I won't be in a hurry to return; in fact, I'm not sure whether we'll be back at all.

Kalbi Ichiban has a nice atmosphere, but overall, my experience was just okay. The service was polite but noticeably slow. The restaurant itself is visually appealing, but the prices--especially for the Korea BBQ options --felt steep compared to other Korean BBQ restaurants even in the area, and the places I've had in Korea, Japan, and other U.S. locations. The sushi was mediocre at best, and while I've seen some rave reviews calling it the best in the area, I have to assume those people haven't explored many other options. That said, the yellowfin cheek was a highlight. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but I wouldn't rush back anytime soon.

Always good service. Kalbi Ichiban (downtown) and Ichiban (Davis Hwy) is one of the sushi restaurant that offers sushi rolls with no rice. All rolls wrapped with cucumber sheet are sushi rolls that do not come with rice. It's a perfect for those who are #lowcarb #keto diet. Their Korean BBQ (downtown location) needs rethinking. Most Korean BBQ usually comes with complementary side dishes like Kim Chi, zucchini Kim chi, pickled daikon radish, bean sprouts, scallion eggs, spicy dried squid, etc. The last time I had their BBQ, it did not come with those traditional side dishes. This is why I removed a star and gave them 4 stars instead of 5. I would rather go to HQ or Lee's for Korean BBQ. If these options were offer I would consider them for Korean BBQ... for now, I would not spend $150 for 6 types of meats with no traditional Korean side dishes (it should be included).

My first time going. Sisters night out. I've sister is 100% vegan and they accommodated her easily! She had rice and avocado roll, steamed white rice, and th cucumber appetizer. Me and my other sister had miso soup hot and sour soup egg rolls and we both had the teriyaki chicken dinner with stir fried veggie. Excellent flavor profile and generous portions. Veggies tender but not mush! Absolute perfection. Waitress was great and my pot of ginger tea came out lukewarm warm not hot. She tried to reheat but still lukewarm. It was chilly was looking forward to hot tea but just minor. The florid of ginger was good. Ambiance nice but music choices odd for upscale ambiance. I will definitely come again!

Our favorite sushi in pensacola! This spot is a hidden gem. All of the rolls we tried were delicious, especially the Pensacola Beach. Our waiter from Tennessee (we didn't catch his name) was wonderful and we'll be back. The spring rolls are a must get.

Specials menu. Don't pass it by, ya may regret missing these options.

Unagi udon was amazing! So much more to say, but let's move on. The wait staff was engaging and friendly. The second time we were a group of four vs the forty on our first visit. Hence, it was much quieter.

After reading some of these poor reviews posted for 86 Forks, it comes to my attention. Why would anyone finish their meal, pay for it, and then take the time to go online to post a bad review? Why not take the time before hand to ask what a certain dish or meal is - its flavor profile, spice(s), heat, etc.? We did ask the chef and she was more than happy to take the time to explain the dish's concept and let us taste prior to ordering. Read all the good and the bad reviews and ask yourself: 1. If unhappy with the dish, why clear your plate? 2. If not completely satisfied, why pay the bill? Why? Because it's simply not true. People like this are never going to be satisfied or happy. Never. Try 86 Forks for yourselves. Don't be afraid to ask the servers or better yet, ask the chef to explain the concept or allow you to taste something if you're unsure. Be adventurous and make up your own mind - you will not be disappointed. Please remember, this is not a Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Philippine, Italian, Mexican, etc. restaurant. Rather it is a fusion of the best flavors, spices, food pairings, and textures from all these cultures presented in a creative and distinct manner. Recommend the Bulgogi Egg Rolls and the Miso Cream Gnocchi & Edamame.

Will not be returning and a highly recommend you go elsewhere downtown. 1. Spare pork Ribs were frozen in the center. Opinion: They clearly heat up pre-cooked from the freezer. Sauce was phenomenal on these, if they are cooked thoroughly next time this could be an excellent appetizer. 2. Side of Bok Choy was also frozen in the center of the largest piece. Opinion: Heated from frozen and precooked. 3. Chicken Kung Pao Fried Rice was soggy, had zero flavor and was overwhelmingly salted. I would have preferred a 3.99 rice bowl from the freezer aisle in Publix over this garbage. 4. Pensacola Spritz cocktail was almost entirely sugar and tasted like a Shirley temple. Server was nice and ambiance was fine. Utter shame this slop steals business from local businesses that put in a respectable effort. (Comments above are opinions only based on a in person visit June 2026 and should not be taken as statements of fact. I have no way of knowing if the food is cooked from frozen. )

Our waitress was incredible, very knowledgeable and patient with my families questions about the menu. She made the experience that much better! Food wise we had: -seaweed salad (standard but yummy, 7/10) -spicy cucumber salad (a table favorite, 9/10) -potstickers (another favorite, my niece is ready to return for these alone! 10/10) -chicken clay pot with rice (really good, but I wish there was some veg in there or something? Kind of one note, but still tasty. 7/10) -short rib clay pot (I didn't try this but my sister enjoyed it, 7/10) -Panang curry (a go to favorite, my niece is very happy to have another place in town to get it! She gave it a 10/10, I give it an 8. It was a little fishy for me and I prefer more liquid.) -eggplant in garlic sauce (this was a mixed reaction. My mom ordered it upon the waitresses advice that it wasn't too spicy but it actually ended up being too spicy for her to eat. I enjoyed it a lot though the texture of the eggplant was perfect and the flavors were very well balanced although it was the spiciest thing we had.8/10) -creme brulee milk tea with tapioca (I love boba but this was kind of boring.6/10) -cotton candy milk tea with rainbow jelly (14/10, the best I've ever had I think. We will come back for this again and again.!) Overall it was a really great experience and the pricing was quite reasonable, we got all that plus a couple sodas for $108 before the tip. The atmosphere is good, well lit, roomy booths, very clean and we liked the music.

Brown Bagger Food Truck Pensacola's brown‑paper‑bagged…read morebeauty of burger bliss man, lemme tell ya, nothing hits quite like a food truck burger when the spirit calls for something honest, greasy, and downright soulful. It's one thing to swing into a classy restaurant or belly up to a fine bar stool, but sometimes an old coot just wants a bun in one hand and the smell of grill smoke on his boots. That's where Brown Bagger delivers the goods, and then some. I pulled up to that truck on a sun‑soaked afternoon, and there was this fella let's call him Big Mike on the flattop slinging patties like he was born flipping 'em. Big Mike didn't just make my double Wagyu smash; he gave me a PhD in burger philosophy between laughs. "You ever notice," he said while slapping that sizzling meat like a pro wrestler body‑slamming a bad guy, "a burger's only as honest as the fist that builds it?" I tell ya what that man could sell sand in the desert and make you thank him for it. He stacked cheese, grilled onions, and that signature Bagger Sauce onto that bun with the sort of focus you usually only see from surgeons and ex‑wives signing divorce papers. Those burgers? Forget just good they're the kind of juicy, salty, glorious mess that makes you smack your lips and swear solemn oaths you never thought you'd swear in public. Smash‑style wagyu patties, fresh fixings, and just enough attitude to remind you that this? This is the golden era of eating food trucks parked next to bars, cold beer close at hand, and a butcher's apron of stories to take home with ya. So if you find yourself in Pensacola with a hankerin' for something that'll make you slap your knee and grin like a mule eatin' briars, roll your way over to the Brown Bagger. It ain't just a burger it's a roadside sermon in a bag, preached by a man who knows his beef and your funny bone. Amen.
