10/10 lavender matcha- best in the town. Can't stop raving about it. I love this place more than my own lavender matcha which is saying a lot since I basically make my own everything. Wow***plus they have art and unique pieces all over, gems to find throughout your visit - even if it's just for a quick one. We stayed to play a whole game of chess - which I lost :( but definitely a nail biter. Another reason to get another drink!! So epic! Let's not forget the absolutely insane amount of uniquely chosen "spirits"/0% ABV concoctions they have along the wall, as well as their lovely baristas who are casually just as smooth as their almond milk and honey. When you walk in you're hit with the great aesthetics. Plenty of space and seating, with a variety of books to look at. We decided to order the matcha and hojicha both with cold foam. This is a cool downtown coffee shop, with a huge open area for seating both inside as well as in the lobby of this building that it's in. They offer a wide selection of coffee, products tease, as well as prepackaged items, and more. My only negative on this is that you have to pay for parking in a garage, which costs nearly $6 an hour. read more

We were looking for a good cafe/matcha spot while in Phoenix. We found this place on Yelp, and decided to give it a try. Right when you walk in, the aesthetics are great. It's a beautiful face with lots of natural light and window. They sell lots of different knick knacks like coffee table books, matcha sets, etc. It's definitely a cute cafe with lots of photo ops! We ordered the matcha and hojicha, both topped with cold foam. I honestly didn't like either drink. Both drinks tasted very milky, and didn't have much of a strong matcha taste at all. When I walked in (with high expectations because it is my sister's favorite coffee shop in Phoenix) I was immediately drawn to the magazines and trinkets right at the entrance. Then, I made my way to the seating area, which was beautifully decorated with very modern furniture. The ordering counter was deep into the store/shop and the baristas were so very kind and knowledgeable about their menu, which had lots of enticing specialty drinks. My sister ordered the Lavendar Dreams and I ordered the matcha latte. Buouyance (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong!) told me that this coffee shop started selling matcha drinks randomly and ended up receiving the Best Matcha in Arizona award last year! What a great honor and a funny story I had my matcha sweetened with a combination of their honey and agave syrups, which made me nervous because it seemed like a new sweetener combination but the balance of sweetness and matcha flavor was absolutely perfect! This is easily my favorite coffee shop in Arizona, and I would come back which says a lot because I don't often revisit coffee shops! read more

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend a few months ago and it wasn't too busy! A few people were seated around the inside working on their laptops or chatting while enjoying their food and coffee. My favorite thing about this place is the interior. The coffee shop is inside an art shop with modern artsy vibes. You can walk around and look at all the cool art pieces and gift items. There is a lot of natural light. There is also a lot of room for seating. There isn't a designated parking lot, so you'll have to find street parking. There is another local gift shop next door you can check out and a hotel lobby. My friend and I split the miso toast. It was really good. I'd highly recommend it as a comfort food. My friend got the charcoal coffee which looked fun! There is an art focus and some of the events are life drawings which I would totally do if I didn't have the art skills of a 4 year old :) Finally went in to try the coffee! Danae was super friendly and helpful - she reviewed different latte options with me, evaluated, nutrition labels on dairy alternatives, and made really helpful suggestions to ensure that I received a drink exactly to my taste! She also shared with me about some of the upcoming events and why they are special/important to her. Dialog is the new incarnation of Kream coffee (we followed them from Central PHX after they moved locations). They definitely have more space here and can be more intentional and creative. I've visited this unique facility before for different reasons, including a party in the lovely outdoor space and cocktails at RR. Today was finally my chance to stop in to Dialog to work remotely and enjoy a cup of coffee. The space is clean, spacious, and immediately inviting, feeling less like a typical coffee shop and more like an expertly curated design studio. This makes perfect sense, as Dialog doubles as a retail showroom, selling high-end furniture and artsy home goods that are cleverly used as the café seating. It's the perfect environment to work and keep your mind clear. Their menu for coffee offers your typical selection of fan favorites. I ordered a cortado that perfectly satisfied my caffeine craving. However, their food offering was a little light for me, as I was hoping to grab a proper lunch. I decided to visit the adjacent Mexican restaurant for tacos instead. Beyond the café, the building features two community spaces that I presume can be reserved, given that I previously attended a party in the outdoor patio area. While I was there today, a casual, spontaneous day party started up right in the lobby area. What a vibe! I loved the music playing. People were playing board games and creating art projects. Not sure how to feel about this place yet, I saw a video on TikTok so I said why not let me check it out. My boyfriend and I went and when you walk in is a bit confusing because there's a counter to your left side, however that's not where you order coffee from. The coffee bar is the next one over right in the middle. Employees were super kind, the atmosphere in there was weird and didn't quite seem like a coffee shop or a store I'm not sure what I felt. Super cool and trendy addition to downtown Phoenix! I did knock a couple stars because their chai is horrendous. However, the barista was incredibly nice and I had fun looking through the market. They have some cool funky items! Plenty of seating and I love the greenery outside the massive windows. The chai tasted like milk with a little bit of sand in it. As a person who adores interior design, I was not surprised as it was beautiful and modern inside with plenty of natural incoming light. Giving 4 stars simply because the music and vibe of this place are great. I ordered a vegan burrito that was $11 and honestly it was very disappointing. I was starving so I ate it but it just felt there was no seasoning in it. Idk if the chef thought pesto counted as a seasoning but it does not lol. Pesto with pinto beans, spinach, and mushrooms was honestly a suspect choice in and of itself but I tried not to be a snob... I should have trusted myself lol. The salsa also tasted a bit watered down. Going to try the vegan soy chorizo burrito if they have it next time and hopefully it tastes like something cuz I really enjoy the shop as a whole and would love to come here more often. read more

This is a cool new coffee shop located on N Central and Roosevelt! There is no parking lot for the store, so you have to find metered parking (or any scant free parking) in the adjacent area. The shop is part houseware store and cafe, so you can browse various goods as you wait for your order. There's also some seating throughout the store as well as couches + chairs in the glass corridor leading to the store. The cashier + barista were very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated! I got the iced honey bee latte with oat milk, and it came out promptly. It was creamy and tasty, and I liked how it wasn't very acidic! I think the thing that I most appreciated about this spot was the aesthetics of the interior design; I liked sitting in the glass corridor while sipping on my coffee. Keep in mind that there is no free wifi available, which might not make it the ideal spot for work/studying if you need internet. I'll come back to try some of their other drinks! read more
