We were looking for a good cafe/matcha spot while in Phoenix. We found this place on Yelp, and decided to give it a try. Right when you walk in, the aesthetics are great. It's a beautiful face with lots of natural light and window. They sell lots of different knick knacks like coffee table books, matcha sets, etc. It's definitely a cute cafe with lots of photo ops! We ordered the matcha and hojicha, both topped with cold foam. I honestly didn't like either drink. Both drinks tasted very milky, and didn't have much of a strong matcha taste at all. I felt like I was just drinking a cup of milk; I didn't even finish my drink, which is kinda disappointing for spending almost $9 for it. Maybe their coffee here is good, but pass on the matcha/hojicha forsure.
As a newly turned matcha drinker, i liked this matcha latte a lot. I got a vanilla matcha latte with cold foam (looked better undrank). $10 which is steep (but not incredibly different from what's around) but its a cute spot to bring people visiting phoenix. The employees were really friendly which i appreciated.
Absolutely beautiful coffee shop! As soon as you walk in, the aesthetics are a vibe. I loved looking around at all the art. It has a modern artsy feel and the furniture was really well put together. I spent a few hours hanging out and it was quiet, cool, and comfy. I decided to try a latte and got it with honey, cinnamon, and oat milk. It was really tasty! I would love to come back to try more of their menu and to just hang out because of the welcoming atmosphere.
It's a cool venue amidst downtown Phoenix that offers a lot of various events in a quiet space to hang out or study in. Its interior has a white sterile and clean design. It also acts somewhat like a trinket shop. It wears many hats, to say the least. Its coffee stand is at the back of the place. I had gotten the iced latte. Though it was brewed quite well, with very little bitter aftertaste, it had a very strong fruity flavor to it that I didn't care for. However, I think that's just a personal taste, as I'm sure others would find it quite nice.
This coffee shop is en experience that caters to all of the senses. When I walked in (with high expectations because it is my sister's favorite coffee shop in Phoenix) I was immediately drawn to the magazines and trinkets right at the entrance. Then, I made my way to the seating area, which was beautifully decorated with very modern furniture. The ordering counter was deep into the store/shop and the baristas were so very kind and knowledgeable about their menu, which had lots of enticing specialty drinks. My sister ordered the Lavendar Dreams and I ordered the matcha latte. Buouyance (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong!) told me that this coffee shop started selling matcha drinks randomly and ended up receiving the Best Matcha in Arizona award last year! What a great honor and a funny story I had my matcha sweetened with a combination of their honey and agave syrups, which made me nervous because it seemed like a new sweetener combination but the balance of sweetness and matcha flavor was absolutely perfect! This is easily my favorite coffee shop in Arizona, and I would come back which says a lot because I don't often revisit coffee shops!
dialog is more than a coffee shop: it is representative of a unique third space filled with coffee, matcha, art, books, fashion, design, and more! This spot is located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix where nearby parking garages or street parking will be your best bet. Inside, they have an aesthetic layout with a variety of seating options. The design feels intentional and everything is thoughtfully curated to perfection. For their menu, they have a plethora of coffee, matcha, and tea options along with some food choices too. I liked how you could browse around the entire shop and check out all the little interesting things they have while waiting for your order. They also share an outdoor space in the back of the shop with a beautiful lush greenery backdrop. Wifey and I ended getting the Matcha Mule, Matcha Latte, and an Okinawa Toast. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here unwinding and enjoying the ambiance. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. dialog is definitely a gem in the area and such an artfully curated space for the community. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area to browse around more and try some of their other menu options!
I came here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend a few months ago and it wasn't too busy! A few people were seated around the inside working on their laptops or chatting while enjoying their food and coffee. My favorite thing about this place is the interior. The coffee shop is inside an art shop with modern artsy vibes. You can walk around and look at all the cool art pieces and gift items. There is a lot of natural light. There is also a lot of room for seating. There isn't a designated parking lot, so you'll have to find street parking. There is another local gift shop next door you can check out and a hotel lobby. My friend and I split the miso toast. It was really good. I'd highly recommend it as a comfort food. My friend got the charcoal coffee which looked fun! It left her teeth stained for a little while after though she liked the taste.
Ordered: Iced Lavender Dreams (~$7): latte with house-made lavender butterfly pea syrup Aya's take: Dialog is more than just a cafe with good coffee/tea! There's plenty of books, art, and decor for sale that makes it feel like an experience while you grab that drink. They had good music playing in the background and I decided to grab a seat to enjoy the vibes while I enjoy my drink. The Iced Lavender Dreams was so luscious! I love a good floral moment and this is done right. The espresso balances out the sweetness and the butterfly pea powder gives it that stunning light blue color. I absolutely loved it and even considered getting another drink but didn't want to be bouncing off the walls for the rest of the day. Dope spot!
Very cool space! Appears to share seating and lounging area with several other vendors in the building. Dialog is the new incarnation of Kream coffee (we followed them from Central PHX after they moved locations). They definitely have more space here and can be more intentional and creative. It appears that they have an extensive non-alcoholic menu (and also an alcoholic bar, which I didn't not include here). My iced pink rose latte was delicious and beautiful. Barista was knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely need to return to try the rest of the menu and to spend some time chilling in this near space! We parked a block or so away and walked over, but it looks like there is parking behind the building as well.
Really awesome atmosphere, came here to work remotely and it was quite enough to take my calls. Beautiful work area in the back. Coffee selection was ok but the food was fun! I got toast with egg salad on top which was interesting but still a fun experience! This coffee shop is in part of a larger business. There are other shops near by and some businesses operating out of the top floor
What an aesthetic coffee shop! Finally got around to trying this spot and so glad I did. I love the coffee/drink bar in the center and all the beautiful furniture, art, and home goods! Decent amount of seating inside. I came here to get some work done, however, I think it would be a great spot to just come chit chat and hang out with your friends. Parking was a little rough, since I had to find street meter parking (and it was 2 hours max). I got a hot hojicha latte and really liked it! And it came with pretty latte art :). Friendly service and barista. I want to try their pastries and coffee next for sure!

I have a Phoenix coffee passport that included this coffee shop so decided to try them next. Coffee shop has a modern and sophisticated look with artwork, books and other novelties inside for sale. Plenty of space and the atmosphere is a vibe. I ordered the Honey Bee latte and grabbed a a pastry (lemon loaf with poppyseed which was delicious) Everything was great including the service. Looking forward to more morning coffees at this spot. read more

10/10 lavender matcha- best in the town. Can't stop raving about it. I love this place more than my own lavender matcha which is saying a lot since I basically make my own everything. Wow***plus they have art and unique pieces all over, gems to find throughout your visit - even if it's just for a quick one. We stayed to play a whole game of chess - which I lost :( but definitely a nail biter. Another reason to get another drink!! So epic! Let's not forget the absolutely insane amount of uniquely chosen "spirits"/0% ABV concoctions they have along the wall, as well as their lovely baristas who are casually just as smooth as their almond milk and honey. I cannot. I must have one closer to me. Please. Bring one to Mesa! Lastly if y'all didn't know they also have open mic nights and other events here {gasp} need I say more? *Speakeasy right below to visit afterwards?* Say less. read more
When you walk in you're hit with the great aesthetics. Plenty of space and seating, with a variety of books to look at. We decided to order the matcha and hojicha both with cold foam. Unfortunately both were not great. The matcha drink was overpowered by the milk and ice. It was more of a milky drink, couldn't even notice there was matcha. The hojicha was also milky. A great aesthetic cafe, good vibes, but not recommended if you're looking for great quality matcha and hojicha drinks. read more

If Starbucks and Dutch is your jam DO NOT come to Dialog coffee...unless you're ready to have your mind blown by high ceremony quality matcha and an assortment of curated cups of joe. I'm not a coffee drinker but the matcha and seasonal citrus and spiced cranberry over sparkling water was a pleasant and refreshing delight of a treat. The art gallery attached is a nice place to hang while enjoying a beverage and surrounded by local art and a very chill musical selection. read more

Not sure how to feel about this place yet, I saw a video on TikTok so I said why not let me check it out. My boyfriend and I went and when you walk in is a bit confusing because there's a counter to your left side, however that's not where you order coffee from. The coffee bar is the next one over right in the middle. Employees were super kind, the atmosphere in there was weird and didn't quite seem like a coffee shop or a store I'm not sure what I felt. The coffee was okay I wouldn't go back, but just because I didn't enjoy it doesn't mean you shouldn't give this place a shot! read more

I really wanted to love their special latte, but unfortunately it missed the mark -- the strawberry compote felt like poorly muddled strawberries swimming in my overpriced latte, they did not give much (or any) sweetness to my coffee and I was missing fruity, floral notes read more
Cute coffee shop! Dialog is located in a home decor store which was fun to look around in. Lots of cute places to sit and they even had outdoor seating! We had the cappuccino and the grapefruit espresso tonic. The grapefruit espresso tonic was a super unique drink that I was excited to try. I would not order it again but I am glad I tried it. Would recommend it for those looking to try a unique hand-crafted espresso drink. read more

Super super cute spot! Home decor and specialty foods with amazing coffee stand and pastries. Everything you need all in one cute spot. Seating outside and indoor. It's inside ten 01 where rough rider and the preserve is. No designated parking. Prices are typical of local coffee shops. I ordered the strawberry latte and matcha poptart. They were amazing! Fresh strawberries for the latte. Service was amazing too. Definitely will be back! Such a great downtown spot read more
Super cool and trendy addition to downtown Phoenix! I did knock a couple stars because their chai is horrendous. However, the barista was incredibly nice and I had fun looking through the market. They have some cool funky items! Plenty of seating and I love the greenery outside the massive windows. The chai tasted like milk with a little bit of sand in it. I even tried stirring it thinking that would help but it didn't. So if I come back I'll have to try something else. But still glad I got to come here because I loved the vibe of this spot! read more

Since I work downtown I've been waiting for a new coffee place to try as this is the sister location of Kream. As a person who adores interior design, I was not surprised as it was beautiful and modern inside with plenty of natural incoming light. Besides the goods and food they sell, their coffee was pleasant! Great place to visit as I'll be back often! read more

Expensive, but what isn't nowadays? A really cool design store with art books and cool design pieces for the home, as well as some select food items. Parking can be tricky. If you like unique, artsy places, this is a great spot, and the coffee is good! Plenty of room to sit outside. read more
This is a cool new coffee shop located on N Central and Roosevelt! There is no parking lot for the store, so you have to find metered parking (or any scant free parking) in the adjacent area. The shop is part houseware store and cafe, so you can browse various goods as you wait for your order. There's also some seating throughout the store as well as couches + chairs in the glass corridor leading to the store. The cashier + barista were very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated! I got the iced honey bee latte with oat milk, and it came out promptly. It was creamy and tasty, and I liked how it wasn't very acidic! I think the thing that I most appreciated about this spot was the aesthetics of the interior design; I liked sitting in the glass corridor while sipping on my coffee. Keep in mind that there is no free wifi available, which might not make it the ideal spot for work/studying if you need internet. I'll come back to try some of their other drinks! read more

The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because the coffee was not good at all. I got a vanilla latte with oat milk and it did not have very much flavor at all. It didn't really taste like coffee or vanilla. The aesthetic is 10/10. I love the vibes here and all of the different things they have you can buy. I recommend coming either to work here or just walk around and check out the vibes and grab coffee somewhere else. read more
Great new coffee spot in downtown at the 1001 building. Shared space with cool unique shop in same space with great spread out seating. Got a drip coffee but was unfortunately told no free refills on drips. Maybe cus I'm used to that pretty much everywhere but is the singular reason for it not being a 5star rating. Other than that a wonderful new addition to great downtown spaces for getting out for a fresh cup of coffee, good conversation, unique gift ideas and working space in town. read more

Stumbled upon this lil cafe on our way to our car in the adjacent parking garage. I needed a pick-me-up on the afternoon so this place came at the perfect moment. My husband and I both ordered a shot of espresso. They gave us the option of a single origin or a blend. We got one of each. They served it to us in cool-looking glasses accompanied by some sparkling water. The blend was much more enjoyable in my opinion. Great sweetness. I can't remember where their S.O. was from, but it wasn't bad. Just a bit earthier than I liked. The baristas mentioned their blend being more popular. As far as seating, there is limited seating in the cafe which shares the space with a bookstore. However there is bar seating at the coffee shop. The space itself is big with lots of merch to look at while you wait for your coffee. It's uber modern with lots of white. Kind of feel like a modern art museum. There are some kitschy and one of a kind pieces for sale. I'd come back if I was nearby. Good service, great product. 8/100 read more
