This is place is busy, I mean SUPER busy. We came here on Sunday morning at 10:30am, it was already hard to find a table. But we were seated after 10 minutes of waiting. This felt like when I was Hong Kong, the atmosphere and the amount of people want to be here. The food comes fast and furious, I mean hot!! lol. ALL of dim sum tasted great. The only thing that I wanna try next time I am here is the faint pineapple bun, it looks at it we were too full to get by the time we saw it.

All day Dimsum. I like the bbq duck. Not a pecking duck style. Crispy skin, crispier than those from other restaurants I have been to. Aromatic. 4/5 The squid ink bun is below average. Lack of the filling. 2/5 (see pic) Siew long bao: dried, not juicy. The Chinese doughnuts rice noodles is crispy. I like it. 4/5 Most of the Dimsum are good. Large. Filling is of good quality. 5/5 10 mins walk from the train station. Convenient. No need to drive or to find a parking spot. Service is good. Everyone is smiling and helpful. Above expectations from Chinese restaurants standards. Environments is casual. Clean restrooms with clean smell. (There was also a wedding ceremony on the day I visited).

Located on 7th Avenue and Jackson Street, Diamond Bay, as of 2025, boasts being the newest and most modern Chinese restaurant in Seattle's Chinatown International District. If you walk to front, located on 7th Avenue, you'll see glass two doors. The glass door on the left-hand side allows you to enter a magnificent grand dining room, filled with round tables, a small speaking stage, and wall-strung-coordinated monitors along the south wall. A mix of the old 1950's elegant Seattle Chinatown banquet restaurants fused with the modern 21st Century technology of 2026. A banquet may already be in progress. If not, there is a full menu experience awaiting you and your party to both attentive service and a beautiful dining area. However, I want to focus on the glass door on the right-hand side , which brings you into a bustling cafe. Casual diners pretty much could seat themselves, but check-in anyways, just to make sure the busy waitstaff sees them - and that's a smart idea. You figure out THIS is the place to be, not just a hole in the wall, but where modern dining action now belongs - no pretension of a large banquet hall, just good food that only a cafe produces. Outstanding!! It's a cafe that was sorely missed after almost 10 years of absence. Inside is the action of a casual Chinese restaurant with the bustle of a Hong Kong Style restaurant at 1:30am on a Saturday night - which may very well happen, every night. Roasted duck, pork and chicken hang in the window, and the limited menu awaits for the lunch crowd, or that casual meal of simple Soy-Sauce Duck over rice. Nostalgic. I ordered a BBQ Pork Wonton Noodle Soup, and ordered a simple Soy Sauce Chicken over rice. Quick and tasty. No ceremony. Just the right food that hit the spot, and then on our way to our next meeting. The menu is casual, but definitely, and full kitchen experience. The owners surely knew what they were doing when the designed the two restaurants with the two dining experiences. Perfect. There is one unfortunate major drawback, however. Parking. There almost isn't any immediately around the building. There may be some scan few metered street parking spots, or event more limited reserved restaurant parking next to or around the buidling, but I never count on them. I typically will park in the lot under the I-5 overpass in the parking lot operated by Interim. or some free two-hour street parking. But again it is limited. Plan accordingly. Knowing all this, would I go back?? To the Cafe?? Absolutely!!! I am sure I would go to the banquet side in the future. But my tummy will always crave the hustle and bustle of on the Cafe Side. Come on over. You'll probobly see me, and everyone else you know, getting BBQ Pork. But come on over none-the-less! It'll be delicisous!

Salted egg yolk fried rice with seafood -Disappointing experience -- menu photo did not match the actual dish

Disappointing experience -- menu photo did not match the actual dish I ordered the Salted Egg Yolk Fried Rice with Seafood after seeing the photo displayed on the restaurant's ordering tablet. The menu photo showed a generous amount of clearly visible seafood, including shrimp and other seafood. However, the dish we actually received looked significantly different. There was very little visible seafood, and the dish was mostly rice with a large amount of topping. I took photos of both the menu photo and the actual dish so customers can compare for themselves. I brought this to the staff's attention, and they were willing to take the dish back and removed the charge, which I appreciate. That said, my concern is not about the price or getting a refund. My concern is that the menu photo creates an expectation that the actual dish does not appear to meet. I understand that food presentation can vary, but the difference here was substantial. I hope Diamond Bay will review the menu photo and consider updating it so customers have a more accurate idea of what they will actually receive.

I came to Diamond Bay Restaurant on a Saturday around 2pm with 6 people and did not have to wait to get a table. We got seated right away and ordered through the tablet. The restaurant is super clean and nice inside. Just to note, the restaurant charges $2/per person for tea and $2/ per person for hot water if you ask for tea or hot water due to warming up the tea kettle. My group ordered the following: Large Hot and sour soup, hai gow, siu mai, beef tripe, fried shrimp balls, sticky rice, pork spare ribs, and chicken feet. Everything was really good, came out hot and fresh. Would definitely be coming back.

Diamond Bay genuinely might be the best Seattle has to offer for dim sum. You can call ahead for a reservation if you have a big party, but it's definitely a bit chaotic working with the staff when you arrive. The lines are pretty crazy on the weekend at lunch time, but if you arrive at 1PM you can probably snag a table no problem. They have a small parking lot across the street from the restaurant and they reserve a big chunk of the lot under the highway bridge as well if you don't mind walking. While I'm still partial to HKB's shumai, Diamond Bay definitely takes the W on consistency across their dim sum items. Highlights: - Egg Tart: Super flaky pastry that's usually reserved for Portuguese style egg tarts, but here you can pair it with the more mild Chinese egg custard. Absolutely banging. - Roasted Duck: Definitely one of their signatures, the duck is super fatty and the meat isn't gamey at all, while still maintaining that signature deep, rich flavo - Baked Char Siu Bao: It looks like the ratio of carb to meat is too low, but the bread is actually so fluffy it almost melts in your mouth. The glaze is slightly sweet which adds to the sweet and savory char siu experience.

Solid Chinese Restaurant to eat Family-Style at! Came here with my partner for Lunar New Year and it was crowded, that it took a while for us to get seated. I would say about 30 minutes, due to a shortage of smaller tables. When we got seated, we actually went to a more secluded area upstairs, which I preferred since it was just the two of us. We ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp, Chow Mein with Crispy Pork, and Spicy Jellyfish. Our first item that came was the Spicy Jellyfish, it was a little spicy, but it was delicious since it was crunchy and complimented against pickled veggies. Great appetizer to start out with! Next item that came was the Honey Walnut Shrimp and I felt already full by the time that came out but it was so delectable and sweet, wish I could've had it aside the chow mein, but mistakenly they gave us seafood chow mein instead of pork. That took way longer to come out that by the time we had it we couldn't fit anymore in our stomachs and had to take it home. The crispy pork chow mein was good but it would've been good to eat with the honey walnut shrimp. Overall, Diamond Bay is solid to go with friends and family. If you go on such a holiday, there will be a wait.

Highly recommend their rice noodle rolls, they're so yummy and perfectly chewy, with that fresh, delicate texture that makes dim sum so satisfying. They're one of our must-order items every time. I also love the chives and shrimp dumplings. The filling is flavorful and fresh, and the combination of the fragrant chives with the juicy shrimp is just so good. If you're planning to come for dim sum, I'd suggest visiting earlier in the day since some of the popular dishes can run out later on. It's definitely worth going early to get the full selection. We usually get seated pretty quickly, which is always a plus. There are also two parking lots nearby, and we've never had any trouble finding a spot. Overall, it's a great place for dim sum and we'll definitely keep coming back!

Swing by either at opening or once the first wave of ppl leave (around 11:30/11:45am) to avoid waiting more than 30 min for a table! Extremely small lot across from street, or an even tinier lot on the same corner of the restaurant. Order via mobile, and they deliver the dimsum. Thought the massive pineapple bun was gonna be gimmicky, but it was so tasty! Inside was cooked (sometimes large versions compromise doneness), but 10/10. Shumai was a block of ground pork, super tasty and flavorful. Hargow good, shrimp stuffed eggplant good, steamed bbq pork buns good. Pretty much everything we ordered was very good. A member of our group wanted turnip cake, but this was very skippable (too soft, and not much flavor). Skip soup dumplings also. Tea is per head, but staff is quick to refill the pot when flagged down. Overall, enjoyed pretty much everything we ordered!

My uncle who lives in town took us here before our flight back to Arizona. Hands down some of the better dim sum I've had in a while. I will say some of the Baos were lacking a bit if meat in em esp for $10+ for a couple. But the aesthetics of them were really nice and flavor was definitely there. One thing that was off-putting when walking into the restaurant was the smell of urine, at first I thought it was just me but then my ten year old whispered it in my ear. After a while you kind of lose that smell and get whiffa of delicious food at the table. Lol The tablets they have on the table to order, were trash. Took way too long for it to work, the touch screen was very wonky and we ended up needing to grab an employee to put most of our entrées in. Kind of defeats the purpose of them. Ultimately would come back though!

Diamond Bay consists of a very spacious dining room and a VIP area upstairs. The decor is pretty plain. The server we got was attentive, but also not well informed about the menu. For food we ordered the Beef Fried Rice, Salt & Pepper Fish Filet, General Tsos Beef, and the Half Roasted Duck. Everything was bland and unimpressive. The Salt & Pepper Fish was the only dish that was okay. The prices were kind of high, but the portions were big so it balanced out. I know this spot is primarily known for being a Dim Sum restaurant so maybe their dinner food isnt the way to go. Definitely wont be coming back here.

I don't know why, but seeing older Asian men smoking outside a Chinese restaurant feels like home* to me, so seeing older Asian men smoking outside of Diamond Bay felt like I was about to walk into something legit. *Southern California We went on a Wednesday at around 1:30PM, and this place was still hoppin! Full tables, and it seemed like many of them new each other and the staff, which was really nice to see. The interior is reminiscent of large Chinese banquet halls I grew up with- high ceiling, big bright room full of round tables and a Very Large TV screen/projector. The food was delightful. We ordered via the QR code, and our dishes started arriving quickly in no discernable order. We restrained ourselves and didn't have boxes of leftoved (rare for us when it comes to dimsum), and yet we were full and satisfied enough neither of us wanted a dinner. I think this is a great place to visit with large groups. Parking is the usual terrible given its location, but they do have a dedicated (free) lot, which is nice, if you have very good timing or a parking fairy on payroll. Looking forward to going back and trying some of their non-dim sum plates. The bbq'd meats hanging on the windows near by were particularly appealing.

Amazing Chinese food! We had dim sum with a large group in one of the VIP rooms upstairs. Automated lazy susan allowed our group to easily share many entrees and dim sum dishes. Everything was delicious from the dim sum (beef rice roll, siu mai, ha gao, etc), to the congee (got the seafood congee and preserved egg and pork), to the Peking duck and lobster with noodles. Highly recommend Diamond Bay if you're looking for a dim sum restaurant!

    Is dim sum served daily?

Every day. It stops around 3:00. You can still get dim sum after 3 but it's leftovers if you want it.

Is dim sum served all day?

No. Ends about 2:30 to 3pm, usually last call at 2:30. Chef switches out.

Any suggestions for close parking? Also somewhere so i dont get my windows broken. 😅

Street parking is your best bet if private lot is full

How many parking places in the small lot? Handicapped spaces?

You can actually kind of see it if you look up the restaurant in Google maps (it shows the restaurant all graffiti'd up, but the parking lot is still the same). There are about 5 spaces, plus 1 handicap.

The curry looked a little questionable at first--don't judge a curry by its color--but it tasted great. The 腸粉 was thicker than I expected, but everything else was enjoyable. The milk tea and 鴛鴦 were right on par with what you'd want from an HK café, and the prices felt reasonable by current Seattle standards, which is almost its own five-star category. No complaints overall. I'd definitely come back--just maybe leave 30 minutes early for parking.

Honey Walnuts Prawns - honey walnut shrimp is such a classic, easily one of my favorites from childhood and still near the top of my list. Minced Pork with Green Bean - now this was a hefty box, lots of green beans tossed with the classic XO sauce and a solid amount of pork. Honestly not much to comment on, this was a hearty dish and very comforting. Would recommend for green bean or string bean lovers.

The Chinese name, 全記麵家, has little to do with the name Mike, but is nevertheless an excellent choice for anyone in the area. The staff is very Cantonese through and through. There isn't a ton of room for large groups, but the turnover is quick and thus the weights are usually quite minimal. Service is very good overall and super friendly. I would highly not recommend using their bathroom, as it's tiny, cramped, and not in the best condition. The noodle soups vary from wonton noodles to fishballs. We got the preserved meat clay pot rice, salt and pepper fried fish filet, and beef brisket and wonton noodle soup. The clay pot rice was okay - the pricing is fair but the execution could be a bit better. I felt like the rice was a bit lacking in flavor, and they only have the standard soy sauce, not the ones in a sauce tray that is usually a bit sweeter. The salt and pepper fried fish filet was good - definitely recommend that for the taste and value. The noodle soup was also good - the wontons were okay but I loved the beef brisket. Noodles seem to be handmade as the texture is a bit uneven, but I appreciate these types of noodles more. Service is standard for a Chinese restaurant - you just need to flag them down and requests are fulfilled in a timely manner

This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much. There are so many other items on the menu that I'm eager to try, so I will definitely be back.

H Bistro 3.8/5…read more Food - 3.8/5 Quality: 3/5 Portion sizes: 5/5 Flavor: 3.5/5 We ordered the staples like chow mein, house fried rice, angus beef, and my personal favorite: the honey walnut prawns. To start, the portion sizes are amazing. When I saw the waiter pull out a whole vat of fried rice, I was already nodding in approval. They're big and make you feel like you're getting your money's worth. The quality of the food I would say is slightly better than average. While the fried rice and noodles were great, the shrimp used for the honey walnut prawns had that rubbery/synthetic mouth-feel, so docked off some points for that. Taste-wise, the noodles and rice were pretty light and a bit bland, which makes sense why the soy sauce tasted extra salty. Use it as a good counterbalance. I doused that rice in soy sauce and sriracha because it was me, but if you're not a fan of bold flavors and are looking to lose weight (but still love fried rice), it may be more up your alley. Honey walnut prawns were buss (not minding the texture thing), and the angus beef was seasoned to perfection. I'll take 3 more plates of that angus beef if not for the fact that my dish was 1 part beef and 3 parts zucchini. Would've preferred more beef for a dish that was 23 bucks. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the zucchini dish with a side of beef. Water tasted like tea and and not the other way around. Service - 4.3/5 Hospitality - 4/5 Speed - 4/5 Wait times - 5/5 Nothing too remarkable here. It's a family owned restaurant so the vibes were very homey. We got seated right away because we were loitering outside the door before the open sign turned on. Wait times were fine. It took roughly 15 mins for everything to be pushed out, with the fried rice being the first dish to land on our table. Hospitality was average. The waiter checked in on us a few times and asked if we needed refills for our water, but that's about it. I enjoyed saying hi to the occasional kid who popped in the shop. Design - 3.25/5 Interior: 4/5 Exterior: 2/5 Neighborhood: 3/5 Amenities: 4/5 Outside is mid, but the inside is lit with decorations and fun lights. Again, very homey and easy to navigate around the place. Neighborhood is the CID which can be shady at night, but we went during the daytime so it was chill. Just look over your shoulder every once in a while and carry pepper spray. Bonus points because the trip to the bathrooms didn't feel like going to the backrooms. Overall, food was semi-buss, waiter said hi, I didn't get jumped, the inside wasn't a liminal space, and the bathrooms wasn't a trip to the backrooms. 7.6/10.

Ambience. A Service. A…read moreGood. A Price A. Moshi-Moshii has found a new Chinatown darling! I do love a restaurant anniversary--especially when the celebration includes DIM SUM at $4.99 a dish! Now THAT is my kind of party. Happy 11th Anniversary, Hong Kong Bistro! Been a while coming back and already I'm wondering why it took Moshii so long to arrive at the table! I finally tried the Chinese Doughnut Rice Noodle Roll--a first for me--and now I understand the obsession. That wonderfully chewy rice noodle wrapped around the crispy Chinese doughnut is such a delicious textural contrast. Add a bowl of warm rice congee and suddenly you understand why these traditional combinations have stood the test of time. Then came the Xiao Long Bao--delicately steamed, filled with luscious juices and a lovely little morsel of pork hiding inside. One bite and careful, darling... don't spill the treasure! The Peanut Chiu Chow Dumpling, Hong Kong Bistro style, was another delightful surprise--steamed, nutty and packed with wonderful flavor. And the Lo Mai Gai--sticky rice filled with those wonderfully unctuous, savory little goodies tucked inside. Remind me - Chinese sausage, beef minced and black mushroom. Comfort food wrapped up in a little bundle of deliciousness. And those $4.99 anniversary specials? Darling... Moshii is officially a FAN! Good food, good tradition, generous portions and a restaurant celebrating 11 years by sharing the love with its customers. Seattle Chinatown, you may have just acquired one more devoted dim sum queen. #HongKongBistro #SeattleChinatown #DimSum #SeattleFoodie #MoshiiEats

So portions are awesome. Cod with tofu claypot: there was a bunch of fish and tofu in here, gravy was good, came out hot, would get again Beef chow fun: loved the flavor, didn't love the texture of the beef where it was a little mushy/soggy?, might try with a different protein next time Salted fish and chicken fried rice: a classic, usually one of the dishes we get to scope out a place, not too oily, pretty tasty with chunks of chicken and salted fish String beans: didn't really like this dish, string beans weren't crunchy, the sauce was a bit sweet, I would try a different veggie dish next time Chili oil: the chili oil at the table is pretty tasty and spicy!
