    Pork shumai

Great option for dim sum and Chinese breakfast and even better that they open at 8am The lady is very nice and can speak mandarin, canto or English and the food came out fresh, piping hot and delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small cozy place that lets you scan the QR code to order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My favorite is the BBQ pork rice roll and pan fried radish cake. The spareribs can use a bit more flavor and better quality meat though. One thing that I really wish they had was oil based chili (very standard in most dim sum places). I definitely am not a big fan of their chili paste which wasn't spicy at all and the flavor of the paste has a slight pungent flavor that I didn't like.

I liked this dim sum joint a lot! Located in Seattle's Chinatown/International area, it was a great place to grab some breakfast before hopping on the train to head to the airport. They have a QR code on every table which you can scan to see the menu and order the items you'd like. I got the shrimp har gow, rice wrapped in lotus leaves, and BBQ pork rice rolls to try. Everything was fast and delicious, and I even had some leftovers to eat on my short flight. Ordering and paying were hassle-free, and they're located only a few minutes away from the train station, which was super convenient. Op[[HIGHLIGHT]]ens before 10 am on the weekends too. The space isn't too big, but they do have a c[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]ouple big tables for larger gatherings.

Very good food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small quaint interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Entrees come in large portions. 'Snacks' are not so large but still plenty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean restroom.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - Beef chow fun is excellent - Garlic green beans are excellent - Golden crispy tofu is excellent.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute mom and pop shop - the kind where the auntie is making dumplings in one corner and where the shop owners probably live upstairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They only have a few tables so seating is limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a number of dishes and enjoyed all of them. I love that the food here is handmade and more affordable than other dim sum places. Service was good as well. Our server was really nice and smiled a lot, although I felt quite judged when I asked for forks! haha I think this is worth your consideration for when you're in CID for dim sum - especially on a budget.

Combo breakfast #1 Congee with century egg and pork with Soy sauce chow mei. $13

If you wake up early and you decide you want to have chinese food for breakfast in downtown seattle this is the place.:) They open from 8am to 9pm everyday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant seems small so the seating might be limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their food is pretty good and tasty and price is affordable too.. You just order everything on the menu with the QR code. We ordered the breakfast combo #1 with pork and century egg congee with soy sauce chowmein. Food was pretty tasty. Service is good. Definitely coming back:)

Quaint and delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Has family run vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Reminds me of many of the dim sum places in Vancouver BC in the absolute best way: homey, simple and welcoming with great food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sort of a no frills experience but super friendly and attentive service

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First time trying this place because it looked small and intimate. Very authentic and homey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is tasty and made fresh when they run out (they sell out daily, especially on the radish cakes ;)) Service is great and attentive. They have a bunch of options, I ordered mostly dim sum. Perfect for the cold weather, will be back again.

Pork bun not to my liking
    Sylvia K.

A little tricky to find. Right by the museum. The rice rolls with shrimp were delicious and the sauce amazing. The Yang Chow fried rice was light and tasty. The prices were very reasonable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Appeared clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Appear authentic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was very hospitable. I think we got 4 to 5 dishes and the prices were about $45. I did not like the pork bun, but other than that liked everything else.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Came in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy, but also the restaurant is on the smaller side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The table we sat on we waited to get wiped down, but the waitress took a while to acknowledge us so we ended up wiping it down ourselves. The nice thing is you use a QR code for your table and place your order online. If it weren't for that we probably would have waited longer than we already were. We had to ask for water, and mine had a hair in that so I pushed that cup to the side. Our server was not very warm and welcoming to begin with, but she ended up at the end of service. We ordered quite a bit of food, nothing really stood out. The chili oil couldn't even save it. The won ton soup dumplings had too much ginger, the veggies in the fried rice tasted old and a little mushy, and the har gow and sui mai were just ok. I did enjoy the Chinese broccoli, but that was about it. I didn't get a chance to try the ribs, turnip cake but my family did say they were just ok too.

#23 Shu Mai. These are huge, juicy pork shu mai, packed with shrimp. Yum!
    Thomas R.

Twice I've eaten here, and both times I left more than satisfied. You can practice patience here while waiting for everything to arrive. When things do arrive, you'll be delighted. No pictures of the Pepper Salt Squid from our second visit were taken because we inhaled the pile of crispy goodness as soon as it appeared at table. Same story with the shu mai. It's just too good. Plump, juicy, and so porky. Yum. I'm looking forward to another visit to the harmony palace.

    Missing fish roe lmfao
    Wesley N.

930 in the AM on Sunday, luke warm service, mid dim sum. Not much else to say really, shui mai was missing fish roe. I initially notified the server that we did not order an item present on the minitable app, guess she didn't understand us, when the bill came out it was still there. Food tasted ok but nothing special, probably a 4/10 for dimsum with 5/10 being normal/baseline. Shrimp rice roll was hella overcooked Har Gow had a bit too much white pepper Shui Mai tasted like a meatball you'd find in a bowl of pho, no mushroom inside or fish roe on top We stopped ordering after that and walked right over to Honey Court to finish our meal

Just so good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute place and I love the menu ordering process on your phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Makes it easier to order with the pictures. Dim sum experience was excellent but the portions were too big. Great prices and the noodle dish we had with the beef was prolly the best I have ever had in my life. It was similar to a pad see ew but way better. We loved the place so much and we will be back.

The two rice dishes require 20 minutes to prepare hence my Braised brisket arrived first and bubbling hot. The flavors were rich and deeply satisfying. So good that my companions plan to order the Braised brisket next time. The Chicken Stone pot clay rice bowls arrived soon afterward. My friends enjoyed their dishes. Service is quick and straightforward. We ordered the pineapple bun with butter, mixed steak plate with black pepper sauce, and spare rib and chinese sausage clay pot. The pineapple bun was large, hot, and crispy with the sugary crust, although I wish the slab of butter was a bit bigger because it gets a little dry after you run out of butter. My boyfriend really enjoyed his mixed steak plate - it came with a pork steak and beef steak, steamed rice, and steamed veggies. The meat was fine but the real winner was the savory sauce! The clay pots take 20-30 minutes to cook which they tell you ahead of time, so be aware my boyfriend was about done with his food when the clay pot came out. This was a delicious classic dish reminiscent of the clay pots back in Hong Kong! I poured in a ton of sauce and it really gets absorbed into the hot rice and meat. The steamed bok choy was a nice refreshing touch. Our favorite bite was the crunchy rice at the bottom of the pot mixed with the delicious sauce. There's so many menu items that caught our eye and we'd love to come back and try it all! Hearty, delicious no-frills meals.

For most people, I feel that we find a Chinese restaurant and if we like it, we commit forever. I haven't had Fortune Garden and felt adventurous, was not disappointed in taste though I'd be interested in comparing value across the shops in Chinatown. They have some nice lunch combos, but sucks that they don't provide soup for takeout. Could substitute with a rice or something! Honey Walnuts Prawns - honey walnut shrimp is such a classic, easily one of my favorites from childhood and still near the top of my list. I don't know if it's the takeout container, but the quantity with respect the box was disappointing. Felt like there was less shrimp and walnuts compared to what I'm used to, but I think I also pay closer to $22-25 for the dish (the one here was $20). Minced Pork with Green Bean - now this was a hefty box, lots of green beans tossed with the classic XO sauce and a solid amount of pork. This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much.
