This is very traditional Chinese restaurant. It has very unique dish. I am here for the pigeon dish. The restaurant has a lot of customers. We started with the whole young pigeon. The preparation is different than the Egyptian style. The pigeon is deep fried with marinated sauce. It was delicious. Price is high for single pigeon. We also got the intestines kidney noodle soup. I think it is just ok. We also got a crispy fried noodle pancake. This is a special dish recommended by my kid. I like it. Overall is good. I like most of the flavor. Price is a bit high.

Very popular with the locals as well which is an always a great sign. Lot of choices. Protip: The menu has two columns so you can mark choices for round 1 and then choices for round 2.

A fantastic restaurant in the International district in a large and clean space with fast friendly service. I opted for dim sum and it did not disappoint. The Yu Choy with Oyster Sauce was great with crunchy stems. The Roasted Duck was delicious with a sweet sauce. The Shrimp dumplings were perfectly steamed with large pieces of shrimp. The Jasmine tea went well with the meal as well. There are a lot of other items I want to try and will be back soon.

I came at around 9pm on a Thursday night and was seated right away (party of 5). The food came out fast and was super fresh. This was my first time having taro cake this way -- it was shredded taro fried like a hash brown instead of a paste. The deep fried shrimp balls with the kewpie mayo were very good, and probably my favorite dish. The beef chow fun and shrimp fried rice were standard (good just a bit oily). Overall I would come back to try their other menu items!

Hands down the BEST Chinese restaurant in Seattle!! This place has been a long-time favorite of mine for years! Their dimsum and traditional Hong Kong-style Cantonese food is incredible. We started going here during the pandemic to get takeout, and since then we go about 1-2x a month. We always order a TON and have left overs for the weekend. Our favorites are the sweet & sour pork, beef and Chinese broccoli, beef chow fun, pork & shrimp shumai, roast pork, and so many others... The restaurant is always super busy (which is a good sign that it's very popular) and the girl at the front desk is always SO sweet! Definitely recommend if you're looking for some good food or dimsum in Seattle.

Totally worth all the hype. They have a nice selection of dim sum that is mostly available all day, siu mai and shrimp + chive dumplings were really well done staples. They also had half a pecking duck for $30 which was a good deal. Perfectly done and crispy but still juicy and tender, just as it should be. It comes with the normal selection of sides and buns as well if you choose. By the people there, you can definitely tell this place is loved by families around International District.

Overall: 8/10 Food: 8/10 Radish cake: 10/10. Super crispy on the outside, nice and creamy with chunks of radish and pork on the inside Chicken Feet: 7/10. Wasn't as flavorful or tender as I would've liked. Could've used more color as well Soup dumplings: 7/10. Dough texture was too soft and ripped too easy. The soup inside and filling was good though and there was plenty of soup and filling Shrimp and chive dumpling: 9/10. Plenty of filling and it was properly seasoned Taro ball with custard: 11/10. Custard was creamy inside and it was the perfect sweetness a dessert dim sum should have Tripe: 8/10. Could've used a little more seasoning Fried Taro Cake: 5/10. Was too sweet for something that was supposed to be savory and not a sweet desert Shrimp spring roll: 8/10. Very crispy wrapper and filling was full of shrimp Ambiance: 9/10 Traditional no frills dim sum via menu. They also had a large menu of non dim sum items. The fact that they were open until 2 am was a huge bonus Service: 7/10 Service was a little slow but that was probably because it was Lunar New Year

Great place to go for dim sum with a large group. Make sure you call ahead of time to make reservations! Everyone is super busy nice! The place is renovated and it's look way better than before.

I thought this place was pretty decent for the price. My mom wanted Asian food while we were driving through Seattle so we came, and she got an order of lo mein noodles with beef. It ended up being a soup based dish, so the noodles weren't the pan fried "classic" take out type. The broth seemed fish based, and was a little bit strong. I tried some and didn't love it but she liked it and for about $25 there was enough food for multiple meals so pretty good deal! The inside of this place was decently nice and had a lot of seating so that was good too. I wish they'd had like a side dish of just vegetables since a lot of the dishes were very carb or meat heavy. One thing I don't like about the area and Seattle (downtown) in general - there is NO free parking anywhere nearby. We just wanted take out so i ended up leaving the car and my mom about 1.5 blocks down with the emergency on and going in to get the food since there were almost no other spots to even leave the car, much less anything free. Overall - didn't feel too strongly about this place. It was good, got the job done. Wouldn't seek it out again necessarily.

Overall: Pretty solid dim sum. The inside is nice but also very busy. Food: The dim sum here was pretty good, they have a few stand out dishes but overall everything tasted good. Service: The service is fast for how many tables they work. You can order and get your food relatively quickly, even during peak hours. Ambiance: This is a nice sit down place, but definitely flexible into the casual area.

The food here is always solid. I think service is decent, they do their best but maybe if they had one more server. Sometimes it's super busy but there's always a table. Been here 3 times & every time their food reminds me of my childhood. Writing a review because their roast pork was the best I've ever had. I've only had dryyyy, hard roast pork. Compliments to the chef WOW. All their other dim sum is solid too. Har gow shrimp portion is large & the wrapping is perfect (it doesn't rip open). Will happily return.

Ambience is bright and classy. It was decently busy on a Wednesday night, and the food came out surprisingly quickly. Service left nothing to be desired. I think the most notable things about this restaurant are ambience, dim sum offering (even during later hours), and the very expansive menu. I was overwhelmed with how many things I wanted to try. Stuffed eggplant: 5/5, this was my favorite by far! Came with a dipping sauce and stuff with a shrimp-like filling. Sichuan five spice chicken: 3/5, good taste but meat to bone ratio was small and was a bit dry to my liking. Overall a pretty solid place and this would be my go-to the next time I'm craving some late night dim sum.

    Thanh P.

No matter what city you're into if it's late and you're hungry you can always depend on Chinatown for late night eats. Peking duck w pancake w/ wonton noodles are my jam after every late flight in.

I had my all time favorite dish at a Hong Kong café cuisine, gon caau ngau ho (乾炒牛河), aka beef chow fun, along with a childhood favorite drink, iced Horlicks. I liked how everything moved at a quick pace here and yet the staff were still friendly. The best part was that no one stopped by to ask how the food was while your mouth was full, because they already knew the food was good. The beef chow fun was just as good as the ones back home. It was savory and full of wok hei (iykyk). The bean sprouts were added at just the right time, so they were still a slightly crunchy. The sliced beef was tender too. If you like adding extra spice, be sure to try the crunchy chili sauce on the table. It was awesome, fragrant, spicy, and full of flavor. Just be careful not to choke on it, I did, and it wasn't fun. I hadn't had Horlicks in twenty years, and the first sip brought back so many memories. Be sure to stir it well and maybe wait until the ice melts a little, otherwise it may be slightly too sweet. My partner is a vegetarian. He looked through the entire menu and said there weren't many things he could order (listen, people, choose your future SO accordingly if you like sharing big meat dishes). He ended up ordering the curry vegetable rice and added a fried egg. He said the curry was delicious. I tried a bite of it and agreed. I think there may have some coconut milk in it because it was rich and creamy. The rice was a little too dry to my liking. Sitting there and listening to the background music from the Hong Kong TV news, I felt like a kid again.

Beef chow fun: pretty tasty and the beef was pretty tender. There was no work hei, so didn't have that distinct flavor Half chicken bone in: this was surprisingly our favorite dish! They have some nice lunch combos, but sucks that they don't provide soup for takeout. Could substitute with a rice or something! Honey Walnuts Prawns - honey walnut shrimp is such a classic, easily one of my favorites from childhood and still near the top of my list. I don't know if it's the takeout container, but the quantity with respect the box was disappointing. Felt like there was less shrimp and walnuts compared to what I'm used to, but I think I also pay closer to $22-25 for the dish (the one here was $20). Minced Pork with Green Bean - now this was a hefty box, lots of green beans tossed with the classic XO sauce and a solid amount of pork. Honestly not much to comment on, this was a hearty dish and very comforting. Would recommend for green bean or string bean lovers.

My personal ritual is adding a splash of pink vinegar and chili paste into the congee, dipping the donut in, and taking a huge bite. My husband prefers the beef wonton noodle soup because it's rich and hearty, but I love the classic, clean flavor of the plain wonton soup with its seafood-based broth. This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much. There are so many other items on the menu that I'm eager to try, so I will definitely be back.

Also, when did we start calling it, "The International District". If we had Mexican, Italian and other ethnic restaurants in the neighborhood, I'd get on board, but not only do San Francisco, New York and L. A. have the biggest Chinatowns, cities also have Barrio's and Little Italy's, so clearly cultures are ok with us specifying. A friend brought up Scallion Beef, so I did a search, Scallion Beef is sometimes called Ginger Beef, so H Bistro came up in my results. Initially, I wondered if H Bistro was Hong Kong Bistro and they rebranded, but HKB is still in business and around the corner and not very good mind you. Reviews for H Bistro are strong and the photo's convinced me that this should be a better than average meal. People talked about the lunch special and since I had a meeting downtown in the afternoon, I thought I could pop in here before my meeting. Once there I was sat. I didn't see lunch on the menu, so I asked and was told, lunch was no longer offered. Again, with no website, I had to rely on Yelp so despite reviews from 2024 talking about lunch, it's not longer offered. I got the Ginger Beef and asked if they did soup by the cup and was also told no. That is why Chinese Lunch is so popular, you typically get soup, rice, entrée and even an appetizer. That is a full meal. I just had my entrée and rice. I asked for chili oil and was brought a very small portion, It had good flavor, but no heat. The entree was good, but without soup and appetizer it just wasn't well rounded. Also, the food would have benefited from being served on a hot iron plate. Not only does it add sear, but it keeps the dish hot. Post meal, I had hoped for a cookie and despite being a block from the fortune cookie factory, no cookie was served. Would I return, sure, with a large group, that would be the only way to truly experience the menu. With 2 people I could have added soup and appetizer as the entrée is also large enough for 2. That said, this was one the cleaner places in Chinatown. That is not to say Chinatown is dirty, but many restaurants need paint, have old furniture or have water stains. This place was fairly nice inside and could be classy with a few more bucks invested. This place really shot itself in the foot by discontinuing lunch, despite being decent, there was just too much disappointment today.

I was kind of sad that they didn't include soy vinegar and chili oil. I feel that those things enhance the Xiao Long Bao. The Lychee Sweet & Sour Pork Tenderloin I was most excited about.
