I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

Charley was our project manager; he kept the project moving forward and was extremely responsive to texts and calls. They helped us change the cabinet layout a bit and it ends up being more functional while also having much more usable space. The flooring and baseboards turned out terrific, it really changes the look and feel of the space. We had picked out something that was not one of their usual suppliers, but that was no problem. They really work with you to get exactly what you want. All the workers were friendly, skilled and left our house clean at the end of the day. My thanks to everyone that worked on our project. Chuck finished the kitchen up and did fine work with our plumbing which required some intricate work to accommodate our layout. Bill is a true craftsman! I've had a wood gate that has needed rebuilding for the last 8 years…read more Pieces of the wood gate were rotting. Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

Diamond did a super job cleaning our septic tank yesterday. Luz took the call & set up an appointment. Roy came overto do a site check to see what was necessary (had to park the tanker in the driveway 15ft below the deck). And Dale arrived early yesterday to do the job. Roy alerted me to the good possibilty the liquid side was full of sludge that could clog the leach lines. =O We had the tank pumped just 2X in the 22 years I've been here, but only the solid side. I don't remember anyone explaining the danger of not cleaning the liquid side of sludge before. We were very lucky to catch it before it reached a "critical mass"....having to replace the tank and/or the leach lines would have been extremely expensive, & disruptive. =P Dale was careful & thorough. He could only pump out the solids side, as the liquid side is covered by the deck. But he was able to show me which way the tank is oriented, and I've already cut out a 2'x2' section of the redwood deck to get to the lid covering the liquid side. I saw ads for several local companies, but chose Diamond for their reasonable quote of $462 (vs $500 from a smaller company). As soon as I get the 2nd lid exposed I'll call them to make a 2nd appointment. It may cost me double, but worth it, and next time we'll be able to do both sides in one fell swoop. I also will make it easier to find each lid, and protect them from being covered by dirt. It's very awkward & difficult to uncover them each time as the rain tends to hide them & recover with at least 6" of dirt. Try shoveling dirt sitting on the edge of a 2'x2' hole 3' above the ground. A real PITA! =P So I put a new Home Depot bucket with a lid in the middle of the tank lid with ~2 gallons of water. It will keep the tank lid closed tight & even if dirt surrounds it, I'll know exactly where it is. I turned 78 last week, so this may be the last time I ever have to do it. WORST billing DEPARTMENT EVER!!!! They need to upgrade their billing system so they are on par with the rest of the world and a bit more customer service oriented. Things to note that aren't the norm... 1. 28 day billing- NOT monthly so you might get behind if you do autobill pay through your bank 2. They randomly change the amounts due as they please 3. If you do their auto bill pay and your credit card is full/ hasnt been paid off (i.e.- just made a large purchase and haven't yet paid it off because you just haven't had the time) you will get a $50 late fee!!! ANDDDD they won't recharge your card ANDDD they will send to collections rather than recharging the card. WORST AUTOBILL PAY EVER! 4. They don't call you if you get past due. Instead they just send an email that could EASILY go to spam saying you're going to collections. 5. I had even talked to Diamond on the phone 2 weeks ago to make a payment over the phone because my credit was declined (just bad timing as we purchased 2 hot tubs and paid it off the next day). They said oh ya sorry about the $50 charge! THENNNNN I thought I was all paid up... then I get a notice 2 weeks later that I'm in collections?!?!?! huh?!?!? CAN'T STAND THE BILLING DEPARTMENT HERE! We used Blue Diamond to rent a 4 stall solar toilet trailer for our wedding. They were AMAZING! Firstly, we quoted out other toilet rentals in the area and Blue Diamond were the best priced. Secondly, they responded very quickly with quotes and photos of all the options (I worked with Staci) and were very professional. Two weeks before the wedding, I had to change the delivery date because of other vendor conflicts, which Staci graciously did for me. 4 days before the wedding, we had to change the delivery day again and Staci didn't even hesitate before saying no problem. When the toilets arrived, they were very clean and stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. For pickup, when they came to suck the toilets, there was a big tent in the way (still being taken down and there was no car access to where the toilets were located). The worker simply said "No problem, I will come back at the end of the day". He came back at the end of the day and they took the toilets shortly after that. Seriously a pleasure to work with and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend them. Who knew the best vendor at my wedding would be the toilet company!?! read more

Jolita (Yolita) and another person were nice when I called (several times over a few weeks). We rented a simple porta potty and it was cleaned twice (on schedule, once each week). Delivery was good (the next day!), and they placed it exactly where we wanted. When we were done, they picked up right on time. Their fee is waaaay cheaper than a few other places I called, which is why I went with them (I was actually afraid of what we'd get because some places quoted over $300 for the same thing)! That being said, their $89/28 day fee had several additional fees (environmental pan, tax, delivery, prorated days, etc.), and even when I thought I had a final price, it went up and wavered AFTER delivery. Jolita took off a pro-rate fee I was charged for having a delivery on a Wednesday (as opposed to a Monday?? Strange!), which saved a few bucks. Overall, the cost was about HALF of a few others in SD, so I didn't really care that much. It would, however, be nice (customers would feel less duped) if they just gave a set, total fee that included everything. I definitely would use them again if I needed a porta potty! read more

Diamond environmental services is a great company providing excellent and consistent service. But what really makes this company stand out from their competitors is the customer service! I work with countless vendors and getting any kind of support from them can be like pulling teeth. However when it comes to working with Diamond environmental services, calling their support team is delightful! specifically I have to mention Susie Godines, she really sets the bar for what customer service should be. Susie has gone above and beyond to help me find all the records and info I need for my accounting team. Not only is she incredibly charming and friendly, which should be noted because I had a huge list of invoices, receipts, and general questions I needed taken care of urgently and anyone else would probably be irritated. She got me everything I asked for and even anticipated a few things I might need relating to the invoices requested (which I did end up needing lol ) Thanks to the experience I've had with Susie Godines I will continue to be a loyal customer with Diamond Environmental Services read more

We have used Diamond for years for our restroom needs for events in Newport Beach and the summer camp (as well as various event locations in SoCal). They are always professional. Our rep Lynn is friendly, professional and has a great sense of humor (I like that). She and the Op person Carlos are always on top of our ever changing needs. They are patient when we make changes in our schedule. They are always quick to call back if we have a concern. Their drivers are courteous, clean, and respectful. Considering they deal with toilets as a business we are always impressed with the service we get. The units are always clean. When there is a problem, they fix it right away (we one time we broke lock and they were out the next day to repair it). When we need a bigger, smaller or additional units, they work with us and our schedules and help us figure the best pricing options. Deliveries are done within the time frame we ask. Poop happens and this company knows what to do about it. This is a vendor that really cares about us as a customer. read more

Our septic tank was full and we were unable to use our bathroom so I called Diamond to inquire about renting a portable toilet until we could get it pumped. I called right before closing and Austin gave me a quote for getting it delivered the next day, but then he said he could save me money by getting the septic tank pumped instead so I wouldn't have to rent the toilet. He contacted Luz who was also getting ready to leave for the day and she called me to set up the next day service to help with our emergency. Both Austin and Luz were very helpful and Austin called back the next day to make sure we got the service we needed. Luz made sure to set expectations for us so we knew we had to uncover both tank lids before the truck arrived and she gave us advice on how to locate the second lid. The clear communication and helpfulness was refreshing. Not the lowest price but for emergency services it was not bad. We handle a high volume of corporate events yearly. And when it comes to porta johns, and fencing, Diamond consistently delivers. From the very beginning, coordination is seamless, largely thanks to Staci Sigmon, who is instrumental to the entire process. Communication flows smoothly from her through scheduling and delivery, which makes all the difference. The real heroes, however, are the crew on the ground. The teams who deliver, set up, and retrieve the equipment. I had an experience on my farm that I had a fire November 1st 2019. I was going through a hardship. Diamond environment service stepped in and help me with this hardship my whole Farm burned down equipment that I was using from them burn down too. I still owe them a bill I reported this and Taken full responsibility for it. Knowing that I needed to pay it but they stepped in and said that my bill was at $0 no worries about it just focus on the things that was important to me. We've being doing some home improvement work at our house and with the contractors being so busy, we stay flexible! Our roofer had an opening and I called Bianca at Diamond and she was so helpful with ordering a chemical toilet for the crew! She had a unit to our house early the next morning. She went above and beyond to make us feel like we were her main priority - truly great customer service! After that, our patio cover guy called with an opening in his schedule and I just called Bianca again and she had a unit delivered the next morning! It is so nice to know she is there for our last minute needs and she always has a positive attitude. From the very beginning Shalice have been very responsive and flexible to all mails and phone calls. Communication have been on point. I work for a construction company and we rent temporary fencing, toilets and power poles. We have been using this company for many years and every person I have spoken with has provided great service. I must say, our account manager, Chaz has been exceptional! Every time I have called, he picks up quickly and his follow through is the same! This is so refreshing when most businesses I try to contact, I get voice prompts to voice prompts then leave a message... and they should say, "we may call you back" because they rarely do. I am a homeowner and had to deal with some delinquent activity with my contractor and keep my service with Diamond active and running. Victor Jackson at Diamond went above and beyond to help me straighten everything out, multiple times! He was extremely responsive, helpful and sought out help if he didn't have the answer. Many times customer service will tell you "how it is" as they were taught to respond. He had sympathy for my situation and without me knowing contacted his superiors to untangle my mess. He didn't have to, but instead notified me that he fixed my account and even got credits issued to me. It definitely gave me a restored connection to humanity to see some integrity in the workplace. Securing services such a fencing, trash, and toilets... is one of the least exciting elements of planning a large event. Yet, one of the MOST vital! Without a proper sized dumpster, enough trash cans w/ liners, clean toilets, tentative delivery, and quality communication... an event can easily turn chaotic... Diamond has been exceptional! Shalice specifically has gone above and beyond for 3 huge public events hosted in San Diego, ranging from 8,000 - 40,000 people. Without her exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills each event would have been far less successful. When you use Diamond, you are in GREAT hands when you work with Shalice! Shalice is by far the best representative I have worked with, in any industry and any company. She is always there for me when I call or email -- even when we had a need for urgent three-compartment sinks for our smaller event on the same night as a huge San Diego event. Shalice worked tirelessly for me to get a sink delivered just in time for our event to begin, saving us from being in trouble with the Health Department. Excellent customer service and fair prices. I contacted Diamond Environmental when I was looking for a solution for an airstream that I have on my property. I needed a holding tank for the greywater and septic but and they suggested that I lease a holding tank and that I get it pumped a couple of times a month. Not only has this solution been effective but it is signficantly less expensive than what I would have expected. Sam, my account rep, has been extremely helpful, courteous and responsive. He has made lots of recommendations and suggestions to help resolve odor issues and even brought me odor eating tablets just the other day. Sam really knows his s%#t! read more

Our company has used Diamond for 2 years now, and they have always been great! The customer service I have experienced is truly the best. Chaz Fishel and Ronnie Lemar are always available and extremely helpful each time I reach out to them. They are my go-to guys for our portable toilets and fencing for the many site locations that we service. Given the event was a downtown debut, we faced an array of last-minute changes but they handled each efficiently and professionally, creating a seamless event experience. Greg was able to come out within a couple days and not only was he super nice but so incredibly helpful. I thought I was having an issue with the water pressure in my home because my showers had 0 pressure. He discovered it was simply both shower heads and replaced one right then and there, free of cost. He took the time and was very thorough with the entire process and I couldn't be more gracious. He stripped out a key screw head by using the wrong screw bit and then stated that it was too hard to replace. A simple Moen valve cartridge,a simple 1hour job at most with a $30 part. That he would have to come back the next week. When I mentioned to him that I had never had a plumber just up and quit like that -He lost his cool- to say the least! I should say that I've been a General contractor for nearly 40 years and no novice when it comes to dealing with subcontractors. But this was unbelievable! So long story short, he storms off and vows never to return! Ouch!! Talking to my LL about it afterward (she had seen /heard most of the incident) I find out he was going to charge her $900.!! I figure he sensed that I was not a pushover so decided to exit early! I can think of no other logical reason for his behavior. So be forewarned this guy is bad news.

He was an hour and a half late, fixed the pressure, but said he didn't touch the part of the irrigation that was leaking and he would come out again for an additional charge. I asked if they come to fix a leak don't they make sure all the piping in the general area is not leaking? He said he would have to talk to the office and they would call me. That was 3 days ago. They advertise they are seniors helping seniors. I don't think so.

We had a simple water leak, that passes across a neighbor's property. Neighbor recommended Becker…read morebut warned they were super expensive. Since I don't live on site etc, I agreed to try them I asked for an estimate, Brad said "we'll take a look". After finding out they just started working instead. So, I had to go to the site. He has a single plumber, digging randomly at $110 an hour trying to find the leak. I told them to stop and that I would make other arrangements for digging, pay for what they had done and call them back out. Instead, Brad agreed that labor get costly for a "skilled plumber" to be randomly digging all day-so, he came up with a scheme to have me pay for his guy's labor "saving me money". It seems unusual and unconventional but I give him the benefit of the doubt. I ended up still getting billed after digging half the hole myself and paying his guy under the table. Eventually, he invoices us for over $700 without ever discussing potential cost or providing an estimate. Finally, the "plumber" tells me he will fill the hole, turn back on the water and call me up to let me know if the repair was successfu. Instead, no call & but another invoice for over $250 to FILL the hole they dug and turn a valve! I've hired plumbers for decades all over the U.S. but never got a second invoice from a completed job!

Called Josh at about 8 a.m. and he was here by 9 a.m., found the burst pipe and got water re-established in the house in short order, so we could cook and use toilets. The damage done required an insurance paid for restoration and he predicted exactly what they'd be looking for and preserved the evidence that it was a sudden occurrence, covered by my homeowners. I've used him over half a dozen times and I've referred him to several neighbors and everyone has been very happy. You can trust him. I do.
