I was quoted $45 on the phone for short French acrylics. 1) parking is terrible. There is lot behind the building but you wouldn't know that unless you're a regular. 2) the employee tried to get me to try cat eye but I declined. 3) the employee end up using cat eye on my nails. Got gel x for the first time here because the ladies were good at pedicures, but don't recommend getting your nails done here. I asked for a simple French tip set and they couldn't accomplish it here. I didn't like it the first time so I was vocal about it and the lady did provided a solution to make the situation better. All the lady's nice but I had gotten my nails done by an older lady once when I was 16 there with my cousin and I did an all nude color and she left my nails patchy YES patchy nails I would imagine I'd do on my self as a beginner they were closing so I guess she was rushing , all for the money though huh ? Note the 3rd toe is missing some paint , and my big toe is cut all wrong .She was cutting ( with nail clipper ) my manicure after she had painted it , what ! Who does that . After 7 years of coming here as a loyal customer, today was my last day checking in... I have NEVER been late to an appointment, ALWAYS tipped generously, brought my friends and family when they visited and REFERRED lots of friends and acquaintances. I will NEVER return to this shop. Kathy has become increasingly inconsiderate for my time, leaving me sitting waiting for approx. 15 to 30 minutes as she took walk-ins who came in to do their eyebrows, stopped in the middle of my services to tend to other customers, and even had me wait after acknowledging she was running late... To take photos of client's nails for social media. I've addressed this on several occasions, because when I've established a relationship with a business owner, I give them the benefit of the doubt before just giving up. Today was the final straw. Why? I made a 10 a.m. appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure yesterday, then decided this morning that I would just go for the gel manicure. As a courtesy, I called to give her a heads up right after the shop opened and asked her what time would be best (knowing that she always "coordinates" services to try to get people in... Also to ensure I wasn't stuck waiting... Time is money). She said 10:15 a.m., and I arrived 10:09 a.m.. Kathy came in at 10:25 a.m., told me she had to find parking and that's what took long. She then proceeded to greet 2 walk-in customers who were sitting behind me and took 1 to the back to do eyebrows... In the meantime, I called another nail shop that I'd bookmarked on Yelp months ago, inquired about their services, made an appointment for 10 minutes later all while sitting in the very chair I was sitting in when Kathy greeted me... And proceeded to leave the shop. The positive is that I am very happy with the customer service I received at my new shop, my nails look amazing and I got on with my day. read more

This was the worts experience I have ever gone through at a nail salon. The lady who did my nails was nice at first but when I saw she finished with my nails I realized there were so many gaps and unpainted parts on my nails. She then told me she'd redo them but I was pissed off due to waiting a whole hour and thirty minutes just for her to sit me in the chair. On top of that I just told her to just take them off and I wanted a refund, that I no longer wanted to get them done here if she was going to mess them up again. The then proceeded to grab my hands aggressively and cut all the acrylic off and left my hands looking horrible. I have to say that she left me sitting in acetone for 45 minutes while she was doing someone else's nails. I had to go to the ER later that day because my fingers were hurting and bleeding from the acetone. Do not go here. read more

I just rather wait on Lucy to finish (no appointments on the weekends-walk in only). During the week it's best to go before 5pm other wise they start getting real busy after 5pm. It was definitely a rough morning, I called the salon and asked if I could get in around 1pm. They had an opening at 1:30 and I jumped on it. The shop isn't fancy by any means, but it is clean and that is what matters. I was there a few minutes before my appointment and waited less than 5 minutes. My cuticles are BAD and Cindy took great care of them. She took her time and my cuticles look/feel great. My gel polish looks wonderful and it was only $18! More than worth it.
