Worst experience I have ever had first I made a appointment with Kristy a few weeks ago for a pedicure she then throws me to another nail tech and says she doesn't do pedicure yet she took a lady sitting next to me to get a set of nails done and left me hanging. Today I made a 11:30 appt to get a fil came in 10min early she doing another lady nail I'm sitting there she locks eyes no hi how are you or nothing waiting patient it now 11:53 she still doing the same lady nail taking very good care of that client. I just walk out she then say sorry the lady want design nope not my problem she doesn't care about my time I could have waited a hour and she smiling she told me to come back. She only will take care of you if you look loaded with money and have diamond rings on you other than that if your plan Jane don't bother getting service here.I have her to many chances oh did I tell you before my pedicure I went to get a fill talk to her 30 min before appt and she said come in and I will do it then she was doing another lady nail and throws me to a guy who shaking and don't know what he doing so I told her and she fix the problem but she can't kept her promise and she will rub your hand and say sorry. Guess what Kristy the color of your skin and the way we appear doesn't matter I am a paying customer may not have bling out ring or the fancy bags but I work hard and want a person and business to respect my time and curiosity . Throughout the pedicure, I had to tell the woman to file my nails after clipping and to even them out. She didn't exfoliate my feet. The polish is lumpy and completely uneven. 3.5 Stars I really, really wish that I can give this place 5 stars. If I can give my rating based off customer service alone, 5 stars all the way. Unfortunately, the quality of the work you pay for weighs heavily, and shows. The owner, Sophia whom I found out was the owner towards the end of our visit was, the saving grace of this establishment. So here is my story.... I am still in search for a nail salon since I am somewhat new to the area. Found this newly renovated place on Yelp, of course ;). Brought my 11 y/o daughter for a little mommy daughter day for fun. There was a few people inside, but not crowded. So I asked how long it would be for one pedicure (myself) and manicure (for my daughter). The gentleman said a few minutes. Which it did. Didn't take long at all. Really the start of the whole experience was going well, it was high star rating up until the end... I'm getting there... hold on.. Ok, so the nail tech who does my pedicure is Stephanie, super sweet and friendly. I think she's great. She didn't oversell me on pedicure packages. I normally just get the regular pedicure package and add the callus remover as extra. I inquired about the callus remover price, she looked at my heels and said I didn't need it and said she does a little with the basic package anyway. Well, ok I didn't push for it. Towards the end while I was waiting for the polish on my toes to dry, I was randomly touching my heels and looking at them wishing I had added the callous remover... Sophia, noticed me touching and looking, and asked me.. "does it feel dry ?" And just touched my heels...came over put some gel, and started scrubbing at it. I just thought to myself, Wow! This lady is super nice and I hope Stephanie doesn't feel insulted I was only touching my heels, but yes I did notice they're not as soft as what I am used to my feet feeling after my pedicures at my usual place I go to when I lived in the Bay Area. Same as the way my pedicure was done as well, I know it will take some time to find the right place. But it was fine, Stephanie was super nice like I said, I liked how she opened up new tools in front of me, and I like how there was a new liner in the tub. Now here is where it takes a turn for the worse... So, my daughter is next to me, she doesn't get her nails done often. This is just a little treat for her. She wants French tips. I don't even get French tips. Where she heard of French tips idk, lol. But that's what she picks. Someone else does her nails. My daughter is sitting right next to me. But even from where I am sitting, I can see that those white tips, that she is free- handing is very bumpy! So I'm thinking, is that old nail polish, why is it bumpy. Like there is sand or rocks under. So I'm sitting in the pedicure chair next to my daughter and I can see this. So I'm giving her a chance thinking, maybe she will put some acetone on her brush and clean it up a bit like how I've seen some nail techs do. So I talk to my daughter, and ask her if she's ok, does she like it. She just smiles and nods her head and says yes. Hmm. I saw her with the acetone brush but it still looks crooked from where I'm sitting. So if I can see it from that far this can't be good. I get up, put on my slippers , because now she put my daughter's hand to the fan. That means she's done. I go there and look.... You have got to be kidding me. That is the worst French tips I have ever seen, and I am not exaggerating. It was crooked, bumpy. I am not a cruel or mean person, that is why I am not mentioning her name on here, but she knew that looked awful, or knew she couldn't do French tips? She's old. I didn't have the heart. But I knew this lady did not have the skill to do French tips, or can't see well?. So I just said, let's remove this and do one solid color. Once she removed the solid color. I can see it in my daughter's eyes, she's holding back her tears . That just broke my heart. What was supposed to be a fun mommy daughter experience and now my daughter is holding back tears. Sophia rings us up. The whole thing, basic pedi, basic mani .. wasn't even gel mind you , totaled to $70. I ask her what it's for because mani is $25, pedi is $25, I just want to make sure that she didn't charge for French tips. Sophia was so kind. She was like, your daughter wanted French tips , I can do it for her 10 minutes gel. I politely declined, I said we had to go... but then she went to my daughter and looked at her nails and was like, "is that what you wanted French tips, do you want me to do it for you. My daughter's eyes just lit up and she was the happiest. Sophia did her nails like a pro. I mean, she's the owner . But lady has skills. She did my daughter's nails fast, and it was clean, did the tips free hand. I noticed that they have a lot of regular clients here. I recommend if you come here, make an appointment. I recommend making an appointment with Sophia, I've seen her work. read more

Vicki - lovely manicure / I have short nails and got gel. She did exactly what I asked without any push back (3 coats, etc). Also very nice and professional. These super stars are also rad because they respect your vibe. If you want to chat they'll chat and they're very personable and fun to talk to. If you are quiet and just want to close your eyes, put your head back and enjoy (pedi esp) they respect that and are quiet, gentle, calm. Prices are comparable to other like-shops.
