When I reached out privately on Facebook with photos of the swelling, they read my messages and completely ignored me left me on Seen. When I called to speak to the manager about a refund, she was incredibly toxic. Instead of taking accountability, she tried to blame my swollen toes on 'pregnancy or medication.' This is a blatant lie--I regularly get pedicures at Blue Sky Nails and have NEVER had a reaction or pain like this. Furthermore, their own security cameras will show the technician repeatedly trying to wipe flooded gel polish off my raw skin before curing it, which is exactly what caused this chemical irritation. When I refused to let her gaslight me, the manager insulted me, told me I 'complain too much,' claimed I just hated the color (which makes no sense, I chose the color--I care about the swelling!), and then literally HUNG UP on me. They completely refused a refund. Unprofessional, unsafe, and defensive. Avoid this place at all costs.

I will admit we were 5 minutes late and as we were pulling in I could see one of the ladies coming outside to see if we had arrived yet. Once we did, we were ushered in quickly and they rushed us on picking the package we wanted and the color. I couldn't get comfortable because the tech kept adjusting my chair so I didn't get the relaxing chair massage I always look forward too. I love the color and the salon is very nice, they offer you a beverage (alcoholic choices as well) during your service.

First time going in today (4/30/2016) and let me say I was super impressed & loved my experience! For starters just about everyone greeted me, and it wasn't a phony "hey hello" , it was so warm and welcoming! I made an appointment at 2:30pm, walked in at 2:10pm and they started on me right away even though they didn't need to; PLUS!!! My nail tech was the salon owner; GREAT GUY(wish I would have got his name)! And his work is amazing! He can shape so well and he applies gel polish wonderfully. He was very nice, talked to me and asked me several times if the shape was okay or if he needed to fix anything. Of course he didn't need to, his work was that good!! What I really really loved was this. So he kinda nicked me when he was cleaned up my cuticles; seriously no biggie. I didn't care at all. Normally nail techs would ignore it and act as if they didn't do anything. What he did was address to me that he got me a little and that I'm bleeding and that he was going to clean it up right away. He got out special solution and cleaned it up; no problem. He was very apologetic too. Very genuine! Today was my first time going here and it won't be my last! After searching from Auburn, CA to Sacramento, CA I am so excited to finally say I've found my one and only nail salon!! The environment is both clean and friendly. All of the staff members go over the top to make you feel like family! Rick and Stephanie have always done an amazing job to take my intricate nail art ideas, and transform them into something so much better. Every nail technician there are very talented, all guests leave with a huge smile on their faces. They also have a phenomenal Receptionist named Cam, who gives helpful opinions and great conversation. I work with my hands, so on the rare occasion I break my acrylic, I just walk in and they fix it for free! Due to their skill, the place fills up fast on the weekends so try to book an appointment as soon as possible. On the weekdays, I usually just walk-in and I never wait longer than 5 minutes. He made excellent recommendations that perfectly suited my style, and I truly appreciated his attention to detail. The quality is there. Maggie did an amazing job and the massage that she did on my feet made me not want to walk on them because they felt so good! There was only one other customer in the salon so I was helped immediately. I sat in the pedicure chair and they asked if I wanted the manicure at the same time. I said that would be fine. From the moment they started, I felt rushed. The person working on my feet essentially just tapped my nails with the cuticle pusher. The cuticle wasn't touched let alone pushed. She did the same thing with the cuticle nippers. She just touched my nails, of course if you don't push the cuticle I guess there is not much to clip. She set an alarm when doing the "massage", which I had never seen before. I didn't mind because it keeps everyone honest on the duration of the "massage". I use quotes around "massage" because it felt more like someone just applying lotion. She was jerking my foot back and forth and nothing about it was relaxing. After she was done she left me at the chair to dry. I usually sit in the chair with the massage feature on while my toes dry. She came back to me about 5 minutes later (give or take), took the toe divider off my toes, put my shoes on, and lifted the arm rest for me to leave. Wow! I guess my time is up. I was not taking space for other customers. There were 4 other customers and they were being helped. There were several open chairs. From entering to exiting the store, I was maybe in there for 35 minutes. When I left I felt my nails looked ok, but not great. As I said before, I've been coming here for years and have never been treated this way. The last two times have been subpar and sadly I think I will look for a new salon. So disappointing.
