This place is hit or miss for me. I've had perfectly crispy onion rings there one day, and soggy, oily ones another. If you're looking for a true deli, this is not it, but most of the food is usually good. My sandwich was very bland and for a "deli" the turkey was poor quality. The owners are super nice and hardworking, but I think they need to address some basic issues. 1. The few tables inside are always dirty! It takes only minutes to wipe them down and push in the chairs. 2. The decor is old and faded, just take it down. 3. The menu board must be the original, they tape paper signs all over it with new items. The menu is extremely varied, but I think that's why it may be hit or miss depending on who's cooking. 4. The boxes of inventory are overflowing their storage, and it makes me think about where those boxes came from and have been and I know storage areas can be attracting to pests. If an owner isn't willing to put money back into a business and doesn't take pride in the condition of the front of the shop, it makes me wonder what it looks like in back. I know this place is loved by the local working business people, so they are doing some things right; I just think it's time to take an overview of the place and see it from a customers view. read more

I became a tenant in the building recently. I've purchased the breakfast bagel . It's good quality. I've gotten the spicy tuna roll and pot stickers twice. Very good. The food is made fresh. Staff is friendly. Prices are great. Paying $15 for lunch elsewhere is ridiculous. I'll keep going back for sure. read more

First time here, which I let the lady (owner?) at the counter know when I ordered. I asked if they had a restroom. She had an accent, so I had a little trouble understanding her directions as the restroom was located in another building several doors down. I was trying to follow her directions plus remember a door code. I had trouble locating it, so I returned and said I couldn't find it. She showed her impatience with having to repeat directions. I told her not to get short with me as it was my first time coming to their deli, so I'm not going to know these things. Customer service definitely needs work. That is no way to talk to a customer. The egg salad sandwich was okay, nothing special. Like other reviewers, I've had better sandwiches elsewhere. Too bad she couldn't have treated a new customer more kindly as I'm often in the area and would have returned to try something else. Now I won't be coming back. read more

Very good Deli all food is fresh and delicious they have a good menu and it's simple. The Chicken Salad Sand on Rye is the best they have awesome French Fries and Potato Salad. The Cheeseburgers are really good and the Pastrami as well. read more

The fries were seasoned well, but you guessed it, cold. Why are the fries cold at 8:30 am. The fries would be better at any fast food place. We did not have a good experience here. The lady heading the cashier (perhaps the owner?) was unresponsive when I asked about the healthy options on the menu for my father. She seemed like she just wanted to take our order, our cash, and get to the people behind me in line. Customer service 1 star. Now the food, horrible. I got Chicken Fried Rice and my father got a side of miso soup. The chicken fried rice was so oily and overcooked that I could barely eat it. I ended up eating just the chicken to get some food in my stomach and left the greasy rice for the trash. My dad got a miso soup in a styrofoam bowl and it was bland. Even the cups we got for water were dirty with some green looking food and clear slimy material (on both our cups). Overall, not a fan of this place and would never come back. I understand it's a deli, so the sandwiches might be good. If that's the case, take the "Asian" cuisines off the menu and stick to what you're good at. read more

This place hit the spot just right! Looks like it's family owned. All of the staff is super friendly and helpful. I got the tuna melt w/ fries. So damn good. A perfect meal right after my deposition. So as I'm driving down Auto Center Dr craning my neck in every direction to look at all the luxury cars around me, i catch a glance of a deli sign hidden away in a business park down the street. I don't know why, but I decided to pull in and check it out and I am soo happy I did! [Almost] better than a supercar, the owners and service were great (we were able to have a really long chat because it was veterans day and slow for them!) Another customer was waiting for her order and told me the place was usually packed full of locals and business people from the surrounding parks. We went over the menu together as the owner came out to take my order, (couldnt believe they had sushi on the same menu as a meatball sub!) In fact, the other customer was ordering the sushi and told me she got it all the time! I went there for deli food though, and decided on the pastrami sandwich. I am a huge fan of pastrami btw, and this sandwich definitely made my list of favs! Served simply on a crusty French bread with i-forgot-what-cheese, house mustard and pickles, the pastrami was tender and well seasoned, cooked to perfection. Served with yummy thick-cut fries, the pastrami sandwich is one of many great options at this little hidden gem. They also serve breakfast, i believe all day, soups, salads, and (no, not breadsticks) a ton of other great-looking sandwiches. A real down-to-earth deli, with super-friendly service, a quaintly-decorated interior with magazine and newspaper reads, and a great quality of food, Diane's Deli is the perfect treat. What a shame this place is only open from 7:30am to 4pm. Went here after jury duty and it's very close to my house. Got a hot dog meal for my son and three sandwiches for my mom, husband and I. Very impressed, there's so much variety to pick from. Not only that but everything tasted great. My son ate all his hot dog and he's a picky eater. Myself along with my coworkers absolutely love this place! our current deli up the street from us has been closed for a while now and we were in need for something other then burgers an Mexican food, I started to yelp a few places seen the reviews called for a menu the lady that answered sent one of her drivers down to our work just to drop off a few menus. me and some of the girls here ordered the club sandwich AMAZING! the next time around I ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad that was good too. Their service is great their food is fresh and delish. I've been meaning to write a review in forever.... started working in this business center about 7 months ago and was pleasantly surprised to find out there was a deli within walking distance. There are other lunch options around but everything is a short drive away (read 20-30 minutes away depending on how far you go...longer if you head to the mall). What I really like about this place is it stays open till about 4 pm so if you work through normal lunch hours- you're still able to grab a bite and not be left hangry. I'm glad I waited to write the review because my first impression after about a month was that the food was decent enough for the price but mostly because it was convenient. I've gotten a chance to sample MANY things on the menu since and gotten to know the owners who are super nice. They are very familiar with all of the regular customers by name and take time to talk to you outside of ordering food. They can get pretty busy during the lunch rush. I always call in my order but the phones can get busy too. They also provide delivery service- not sure of the fee though since it's a short walk for me. They offer everything from breakfast to sandwiches, salads, burgers and most famously their teriyaki plate. My least favorite item is the turkey sandwich and ONLY because it's not Boar's Head type deli meat- it's processed and for the price I'd rather have BH. But it'll do in a pinch. My favorite overall dishes are the tuna sandwich/salad, chicken sandwich/salad, Chinese chicken salad (a local fav) and their patty melt with the fries. The fries are a hit or miss....depends on who cooks them. Sometimes they're nice and crispy with right amount of seasoning and on rare occasions- they're not. So, in a nutshell, if you work in the business center or close by- give them a try! They're local, they're good people and they're very convenient. And try the teriyaki plate! read more

I would have rated it better if I would have yelped it the first time I ate there. But not much more. My coworkers and I ordered food for delivery. (The delivery that they suggested we do after the first time we went.) We ordered around 11 am for 8 people. Even though we only got food for 7. We had 1 wrap, 1 burger with mustard we didn't ask for, 1 salad and the rest were sandwiches. Nothing too complicated . It's about an hour later and we still don't have any sign of our food. Mind you, we work like down the street. My coworker who ordered tried to call them back. No answer. Tried calling for 20 min with no answer. Had another coworker call from her cell phone and they answered right away. After we asked where the food was she said he should be there any min. When we asked the girl if she knows what time and instead of answering she hung up. After an hour and 25 mins we finally get our food. When it arrived the delivery man looks at us and tell us he needs to take at least one the boxes back that we had our food delivered in. The random cardboard box from frozen french fries that is holding our food and drinks. He straight up was going to have us take all of our stuff out of the only thing we can carry our food in. After looking at him with a puzzling expression he told us he'll come back for the boxes later. Now for the food. The fries and the fried zucchini were cold but tasted decent. But I guess since our sacred box was for frozen fries they would just be alright. I ordered the club. It was a sad club with bacon only on half. My coworker had mustard on her burger even though their menu says you have to request mustard which we did not. My other coworker got a sandwich that I can't comment on because it never made it to him. I don't know how anyone else's food was since we didn't get to actually eat together because our food took almost an hour and a half to get to us. And my work is still, like less than 2 miles away. This place was all around a pain in the ass and I will not eat there again. It wasn't worth the long wait or the money. Such a disappointment. You did me dirty and I will not be making that mistake again. They really need to work on their delivery speed and their customer service. read more

Surprised this is the highest rated deli in this town... Sandwich was very basic. Forgot the avocado and pickles in it. Only used iceberg lettuce and American cheese. Very cheap ingredients. If you like simple sandwiches I guess this isn't horrible, but would never come back.
