Nestled among a lively stretch of bars and restaurants, it has a fun atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in for a few hours. I stopped by during March Madness, and despite it being the middle of the day, the place was buzzing with fans watching the tournament. The bartender--who was the only one working at the time--did a phenomenal job keeping up with the crowd. While drinks occasionally took a little longer, she handled the rush with professionalism and a great attitude. One thing that really stood out was the bar itself; it's impressively long, possibly the biggest I've seen in a venue of this size. The food was exactly what you want from a sports bar: satisfying, flavorful, and the perfect complement to an afternoon of college basketball. I'd definitely stop back to watch another game.

Saw this place on the walk back to our car and stopped in for a couple drinks and some appetizers. We were very happy we did. We sat at the bar and it was fairly empty at the time, which was a Thursday around 1pm. The bar is so beautiful with all of the copper details. It feels very clean with an upscale look but doesn't feel like it's too fancy to stop in on a regular day. Our bartender was awesome and she was training a new person that day so she was happy when we chose some fun cocktails for the newbie to make. Our favorite was the Beet Marshall. Oh my gosh is this a delicious cocktail! Unique too! Very refreshing, light. And fantastic color! My partner tried the Rhubarb Negroni which was also very good but we both decided Beet Marshall was the winner! We had the fresh pork rinds for an appetizer, came out sizzlin and poppin! Yes!! We also had the Cajun dill curds they were really good, not too heavy with just enough seasoning. I think this place is a great spot to check out anytime! They had tvs at the bar so sports fans could see their favorite games while enjoying a drink and some food. The locals at the bar seemed like they knew everyone and that this was the place to gather.

First the neighborhood and location is adorable, quaint, and very cozy. You feel a part of a community the moment you walk in the door. The staff are a key component of that. The staff are friendly, helpful, chill, and welcoming of all people and doggies! The space is also great! A fantastic outdoor space with fire pits, a good sized brew space for events, and a wide open tap room for humans and canines to enjoy their time together! But of course, the beers are the highlight! Sproose IPA is one of our favorites. It actually tastes like you are drinking a pine forest! I also love their Gose, porters, and Oktoberfest. You really can't go wrong! Plus with plenty of snacks, clean facilities, nice bathrooms, neighborhood events, and great husky dog-sled decor, you really can't go wrong. Whether you live in the neighborhood or are coming from afar, Black Husky is the spot for you! Come on over, grab a drink, give a doggy a pet, and enjoy!
