This was an unexpectedly fun lunch experience. Located inside the Excalibur Casino this is a must visit when you visit Las Vegas. Before seating, I was informed that they are intentionally rude as part of the experience. It is definitely a party atmosphere and can get noisy, but all in fun. You can sit at the bar or at a table. They make paper hats for you to wear during your visit and they have a photographer that comes around and captures the fun. You can purchase the pictures before leaving. They have a wide variety of food and drinks and the servings are very generous. My server Connie was amazing. She is quick with her zingers and goes above and beyond to make your visit fun. Honestly really disappointed. Our food came out literally like two seconds after we ordered, which already felt suspicious... and it showed. The chicken tasted old and just straight up bad, like it had been sitting around for a while. The fried pickles were soggy and cold instead of crispy, and the nachos were cold and honestly really gross -- the chips were stale and everything tasted off. The only decent thing we had was the cheesecake, which was actually good... but that's about it. Fast food is one thing, but fast AND bad is another. For an extra price, you get to take home a 24 ounce Dick's glass. There is an option to pay for a beer without a glass. My friend and I shared the fish & chips. There was plenty for 2 people. It comes with 2 big pieces of battered fish, tots (other sides available), and a side of tarter sauce. The tarter sauce tasted pretty good and I'm not a tarter sauce fan. There is someone who walks around offering to take pics of you and your fam, but those do cost you a pretty penny. If you've been here before and know how this place works then you know what I mean, haha. I don't recommend coming here if you're sensitive, all staff is what the restaurant's name implies - d*cks! Upon entering, you'll be greeted with some attitude from the staff in a "I hate my job" type of tone and mannerisms but don't be fooled, they will be attentive to your needs at all times. You'll be seated right away if the restaurant isn't busy and if it is, the wait isn't always long. While following the host/hostess you'll see all the fun signs on the walls and if you're lucky, you'll hear some of the other staff yelling at customers! Guess it's a lot funnier when it's being done to others too! We've come here to grab food a few times and the menu has a little bit of everything which is good for bigger parties who might not all want the same type of food. Most of the time we just come to sit by the bar, watch some sports on the TVs and have a good laugh with the staff on shift. They make our visits a lot more fun with the constant back and forth and innuendos being said. If you find yourself at the bar ask for a marker + tape and write something on it to then tape it to the bar overhead with the HUNDREDS of other bills! Updating after our 2nd experience at Dick's. Went with a large group of guys (15 in total including teens, pre-teens, and even a toddler). Still incredibly inappropriate but AMAZING experience! We had such a great time on Saturday night. Had to wait about an hour but they don't take reservations and there 15 of us on a very busy Vegas weekend. No problem since we took the boys down to the arcade to kill the time. Our server was fantastic! She roasted us so hard and made sure we had a great time from start to finish. She even worked with us on splitting the payments (which wasn't easy given the size of our group and the bill being about $550). She ripped us the whole time of course but it was a ton of fun! The mats were hilarious again this trip and she went hard on some of us louder folks in the group. Food was still better than expected for a spot located in an old hotel/casino but still a bit pricey. You're definitely paying for the experience but the food is good enough that it's worth the cost. My daughter ordered fish and chips which were way overdone and extremely salty again. Almost unedible from my point of view. I ordered steak and eggs, which was decent. That was probably the best meal between us. They like to come around and put on paper hats that say ridiculous things which is I'm sure a lot more funny if you've been drinking. I've been here before, but my daughter had not so we decided to take her there for her 21st birthday dinner. To be honest it feels like the place has gone downhill. The vibe was pretty chill and quiet. There was no music, or laughing (except for our table) or noise for that matter.
