I've eaten at Dickey's more than a few times since they opened. In the beginning there seemed to be a lot of disorganization and things were always out of stock. They seemed to get that fixed and things were running relatively smooth until recently. Their beef brisket has been our go to item but I had an order that was completely fat and gristle in mid June. I reached out to the management and she was very helpful. I guess they've changed managers a few times now and I feel that really shows in the food quality. The manager remade my order the next time I came in and everything was top notch. I went in today to use the coupon I got on my phone and ordered 2 of the Brisket meals to go. Well I got home and the one meal was completely fat again. There was literally no meat at all to eat on that meal and only fat. I'm not one to order the "Lean" meat and we actually enjoy some of the fattier cuts because of their juicy taste but this was literally all fat. At this point I'm completely over calling about it again. I think they honestly don't care about the quality of the meat they serve and I'm not wasting my breath again trying to explain it. We just found this place by accident. The other reviews showed they liked the food but just gave three stars. Though it may be new, try this place out. My fiancé got a two meat plate with two sides and a beer. I got the BBQ sandwich w two sides and a small soda. Total was $24. I am not understanding how much cheaper people want it. The pulled pork was delicious. As others said not piping hot, but far from cold. The gentleman taking the meat order was a little rude, but I don't let that bother me. I had to interact w him for about 30 seconds. We thought the food was good and the price was fair. You get free ice cream and keep the soda cups too. Would go again! Just missed the lunch special by 3 minutes. From 11-2 you can get a pulled pork sandwich, side, and drink for $5. That's a great deal that I'd come back for. The pulled pork was moist and delicious. Wanted to try out a new place and really wanted BBQ drove from spring hill to try this place out and was completely disappointed. The BBQ sause was hot and all the meat was cold. My advice: there are plenty of better places to get barbecue in the area. The place was clean and well cared for but the food was sub-par. The few times my family and I had gone, they seemed to always be out of side items which I find unacceptable since we go there during normal dinner rush, 6pm. During our last visit I got the brisket and jalapeno cheddar sausage combo. My brisket was a greasy lump of mostly fat. There was barely any flavor to what little meat I did get. The sausage was good, but didn't make the experience worthwhile, as the brisket was personally my "main event" so to speak. I'd also like to mention that considering the line setup for ordering it might have moved the line faster, but that just wasn't the case. Every time we've been, even on slower nights, the line has been disorganized and slow. I feel like between all I've mentioned I have just never left Dickey's feeling like I got what I paid for. We eat our do carry out from the Brooksville Dickey's often, even more during baseball and soccer season. My son even plans on using them for his wedding reception. Our bill is usually $65-90 each time. We have always had good service and food with an occasional blip. Tonight on our Ex Large Plate the 2 pounds of brisket was mostly fat and gristle. I called to speak to the manager to suggest they be more careful with checking that the meat was trimmed. I did not want a make good Certificate or anything. When I asked for the manager they hung up on me. Then each time I called afterwards it would go straight to voice mail. I am disappointed in this treatment as we like Dickey's and thought the poor quality of the beef was an accident as the chicken and pulled pork were excellent. After 6-8 or more calls over a 45 minute period straight to voice mail I decided to write a review. Why would they treat a customer so poorly? Sides were bigger than the meat portions and the owner made it seem like the portions were bigger than I had. i reciently visited dickeys bbq in brooksville on wed july 4th and was pleasently supprised. i ordered the 2 meat plate with brisket and with beans and slaw. it was really great tasting bbq with rich deep smokey flavor. and it tasted like a long smoked meat. and the beans were really flavorable and the slaw was a little sewwt for me. but there was a down fall the drive from springhill to brooksville. and the to go containers for the bbq sause. is passed with small cups with lids but one of the lide wasent on well and i had a little mess. need to have one closer to me and if you really lke bbq its worth the drive. verry good service as well recieved my purchase with in 3 to 5 minutes. read more

We arrived at the Dickey's on Cortes Blvd. at 6:00 PM ,Sunday May 15,2016 only to read the signs posted that they are out of sides of Cole Slaw, Barbecue Beans , and also Macaroni and Cheese. I ordered the 2 meat plate that comes with 2 sides , pickles and onions. I ordered the potato casserole and Caesar salad and was told they didn't have the potato casserole either. The meat was slightly cool and some pieces warm with clumps of very,very salty and spicey pieces My husband ordered the rib plate . Neither meal had any pickles or onions as stated on the menus. .It appears this Dickeys is run by teenagers and although they seem to be working hard perhaps they need some older supervision. This is the second time we have been to this Dickey's and don't think we will go back. read more

The first time I went here, I found chunks of plastic in my food. I wish i had the app before that visit so i could share a picture. I decided to try this place again today, but won't be returning. I was literally the only person in the place and I felt like I was being rushed to look over the menu. One of my sides was cold, and the ice cream machine didn't work.
