I have ordered for pick up, delivery, on the app and in-store thinking that maybe the problem was the delivery service or the app but after giving them several tries I am taking my business elsewhere. Not once have I received a full or correct order! There was always something missing. It's not like I placed an order with special instructions. Everything ordered was from the menu as listed. Without fail, every time I ordered the salad, the onion tangler topping was always missing. It was an extra 10 min wait for the topping when this happened in store. It was not busy so I don't know what the problem was. By the time I was given the topping I was half way done with my salad. My last order was on the app for delivery. It was a $35 order (for two/not cheap) and I was missing the onion topper on the salad (again), the salad dressing and the side order of waffle fries. I ordered for delivery... there was no way I could go in to complain. I tried calling the store several times but no one ever answered. This issue is so frustrating! We always love to go to dickies for barbecue, but my experience tonight was horrible. We waited almost a half an hour for service to order our meals. Apparently they were busy with phone orders, and they were understaffed which was frustrating to both the staff and the customers. The facility seems to be run down. The ice machine was dirty and not working, the ice cream machine had been taken out, and there no self serve barbecue sauce. The facility did not appear to be clean and looked at dingy so therefore we decided to have the order to go. We only live 5 minutes away, and was surprised when we got home, that the food was ice cold. The meat was all fatty and not edible. They were out of rolls which, according to other reviews is common. We had inquired about the barbecue sauce display being empty, and was told that they now provide the barbecue sauce with the order. When we got home, there was no barbecue sauce. In summary, the meal was expensive, we did not get everything we paid for, the meat was fatty and not edible, we were not given the barbecue sauce we requested, and the food was cold. Finding a decent place for BBQ (on Mother's Day) is always a treat. When it comes to BBQ, if done wrong, it's easy to disappoint. Well, guess what, Dickey's did NOT disappoint. Needless to say, they didn't d*** us. The Food: Food was very good. It's easy to screw up brisket, and ribs. Dickey's did NOT do that. The brisket was tender and flavourful. The ribs was to the same effect. It wasn't dry and it had the right amount of BBQ sauce. We also got spicy cheddar sausage. That was hella good; right amount of cheese and kick from the spice. Also got a bunch of sides like the baked potato casserole, the frickin' awesome mac n' cheese, the bacon and green beans, the fried onion tanglers (which was tasty and not overly greasy), and the ever-popular waffle fries. The rolls that come with the meal needed a little bit more butter, but complimented the meal decently. The drinks came separately. I got a refillable cup for my hella awesome sweet tea. Soft serve ice cream on a cone or bowl for anyone who has a sweet tooth. Prepare to laugh at how people pile the ice cream on their cones/bowls. It's like watching an acrobatic act where everything goes wrong! Freakin' awesome. Service: Quick and friendly. They were very helpful and gave us more than enough boxes (yes, there was a lot of food that we generated leftovers). Location: I may have had to travel this far to go to it, but it was worth it. This is an inefficient fast food place. Here is why: Instead of placing an order, pay, and wait for your food, customers have to wait in line, order, wait for the guy to prepare the meat (3 minutes or more per person), then proceed to pay. The next customer would then order, wait for his food to be prepared, then pay and so forth. It took a whole 13 minutes for them to process 6 customers before me and there were 3 customers behind me who left because of this 'inefficient' process. I do not see any value with this system. I ordered two 3 meat plates with 2 sides choosing various types of meat. I stay away from the full rack of ribs for $24 since it is no Woodranch BBQ or Lucille. The pull pork and steak brisket were dry and average at best. The polish sausage is not bad and is close to Costco grade (sorry but it is true). The sides are ok but another disappointment is the BBQ beans which is too salty. The saving item for this restaurant is the free ice cream. I had one and it is not too bad. I was hoping for a quick/To-go version of Woodranch but it is not even close. I guess most new restaurants (chain or independent) in Eastvale are not competitive to others in the urban cities. I hope Habit Burger next door is not the same. Update: I made the mistake of posting this review at another Dickey's restaurant (at Rancho Cucamonga). I sincerely apologize for that. read more

I've tried Dickey's two times now and I've definitely decided that I am not a huge fan of their food. With that being said, I think this Dickey's just has a terrible set up. You wait in line to get to one employee who is handling the meat station. It took forever for him to weigh out every item everyone was ordering to the exact weigh it had to be. This way of ordering slows the line down to a crawl, I spent 30-45 minutes in line before I even ordered and the line wasn't that long. It's like they are trying to replicate the Chipotle assembly line but they are doing it poorly. I've been to another Dickey's where you just order at the register and get a number. I'm not sure which one is more typical for this restaurant but I definitely prefer this method of ordering. read more

Not bad for a fast food BBQ restaurant. Different meal options with ribs, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and chicken as your meat options. Various sides to choose from, too! There are only 3 types of sauces that they have: an original BBQ sauce, a spicy BBQ sauce, and a sweet BBQ sauce. I tried the brisket and pulled pork with a side of fries and cole slaw. Everything was satisfying and I found the food to be a less expensive alternative to Famous Dave's. There's also bottomless sweet tea and free vanilla soft serve to top off your meal. I even saw someone fill up their big yellow cup with the soft serve. Haha. Awesome! Only thing I didn't like was that I felt like my food could have been warmer. My first time here and I was totally surprised at how good the food was. I got the 2 Meat plate, brisket and honey ham. The portions didn't seem like much but it was plenty. Only one guy setting up the plates which makes it a boring wait. The look inside is nice and county, good country music and staff were polite BUT still just a fast good BBQ spot. Flavor best in Eastvale but only because I believe their the only BBQ in Eastvale but over all flavor was acceptable but no it's not Nashville or Lynchburg Tennessee. Conclusion if your in the mood for BBQ and want something you don't have to make a restaurant out of this place is fine. read more

EXCELLENT!!! Just finished my 3 meat plate and I feel great! :-))) I had pulled pork, ribs and the sausage. All meat lean and cooked to perfection. My husband and I decided to try this place out on a whim. We have two young kids so we wanted to avoid a restaurant type establishment since they were both a little cranky. We each ordered the pulled pork sandwich and got the chicken nuggets for our toddler. My almost 1 year old shared my Mac and cheese with me. I was really impressed with not only the quality of the food, but with the flavor as well! We tried each of the sauces and they were all very tasty. And I absolutely love that they offer free soft serve ice cream cones to their patrons. It was a wonderful ending to a great meal. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because while the food was delicious, it wasn't better than other barbecue food I've had in the past. Second time here and great experience both times. First time I ate at the location and my daughter and I got to enjoy the free ice cream they offer to their guests which is a nice bonus. Second time was to go after trying and failing to get some food at the Tio's restaurant next door because their employees were too busy to pay attention that they had guests wanting to order food. One word: salty! Ordered a full rack of ribs and a two meat plate. The meat plate consisted of brisket and links. Both were just okay, not that much flavor. The rib texture was decent but the food was super salty. I had to go home and washed off the BBQ sauce it was that bad. Sides were Mac and cheese and bacon greens. Greens were not good and Mac n cheese were too cheesy. I make better Mac out of a box. They have free soft serve vanilla ice cream but it was icy rather than your typical soft serve texture. The girl cashier seesm to hate her job. It is very apparent in her attitude. I also have been waiting 20 minutes for 2 pieces of Texas toast. I asked for 2 slices. After 10 minutes, I get one piece that is toasted on one side and a buttery mess on the other. I asked for my second piece. They didn'take it. I finally get it, and this time it is toasted on one side and a mushy mess on the other. I gave it back to remake. It came out beautiful this time. I asked the girl at the cashier if I can have to first one redone correctly. At this point it's dry and cold. She gives a smart aleck response of how she didn't make it. I know. I just wanted it redone correctly. As I have been typing this, I still do not have the toast redone. I have also watched people walk oit because they are tired of waiting. This is my go to spot for bbq in the Chino area also the one off of Grand ave in Chino. Great bbq for a decent price without killing your wallet like at Lucille's. The sausages, brisket are great. Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. Didn't know what I was walking into, so it took me a while to figure out what I wanted. Ended up with the 2-item plate. I chose sliced polish sausage and pulled pork with cole slaw and fried okra. While I waited for the food, I noticed the free ice cream, so I ate some of that. Their ice cream was pretty good! When I got the food, I noticed I didn't get any pickles/onions which came with the meal so I did ask for that. Surprisingly, the food was pretty delicious. I laid out all the food and enjoyed each one bit by bit. I felt like I was having a little feast to myself. It was worth the $13+ and I think I'll be back whenever I crave for BBQ. =) read more

The beef was a little dry, but the BBQ sauce was thick and a little sweet. The best part was the sides. The fries were crispy and the beans thick and sweet. I was a skeptic as I am a fan of Texas BBQ, so I went in with low expectations. We had the beef brisket, pork ribs, and polish sausage. I am a huge fan of the Brisket and sausage. The pork ribs were a little too dry for me. The sides: Waffle fries were great, mac and cheese was excellent, the potato casserole, not so much. It was a little cold and tasty really starchy. Too much stirring? There were a lot of kinks in the service, but it was opening day so all is forgiven. This will be a nice addition to the Eastvale restaurants. If you're looking to find a little bit of the South in SoCal, this is it. Simply the best southern food you'll find around here, this place is heaven. I've lived in South Carolina my whole life, and whenever my family wanted Bbq, we always went to Dickey's. When I moved to California, I thought my days of fried okra and perfectly sweet tea like my mom used to make were over; but now that I discovered there's a Dickey's location 5 minutes from my house, my faith in humanity has been restored. My usual is always the Little Hoagie, it's the perfect little sandwich to fill me up (with my side of okra, of course). But I got so hyped to finally have authentic southern food again, I went all out with my meal yesterday. A big pulled pork sandwich, fried okra, Mac n' cheese, and Ofcourse a big yellow cup of sweet tea. I can't even explain how perfect this meal was. My only complaint is that they got rid of the barrel of free pickles. But still, I give it 5 stars. The pulled pork was perfectly tender and seasoned just right. My fried okra was SO FRESH I had to wait an extra 5 minutes for them to cook it for me, which I had no complaints about whatsoever, and if you like fried okra, you know there's no better way to eat it than straight out of the fryer (even if it burns your mouth). The Mac n' cheese was on point Ofcourse. Their regular Bbq sauce is simply the best, and complements the meat perfectly. The most important thing for me though was the sweet tea. It was a little warm, which means you know it was freshly made. PERFECTLY sweetened! It tasted exactly like my mom's sweet tea, aka: a big yellow cup of HOME. I was so full when I was done eating that I could barely move but I had to get some free ice cream on my way out. It was perfect and tasted fresh (not fake like a lot of fast food places) which was the best way to end my experience. (Other than walking out with a final refill of my sweet tea, that is.) Oh yea, and my girlfriend tried it for the first time ever yesterday with me, and she loved it so much she said she wouldn't mind having them cater our (rustic, outdoor) wedding one day! What can I say about this glorious place. I'm in love with Dickey's. After eating at a Dickey's in Texas a few years back, I felt incomplete coming back to SoCal knowing there wasn't one in the area. Fast forward 2 years and they're popping up everywhere. That being said, I've eaten at a handful of the SoCal locations numerous times. Needless to say this ain't my first rodeo. What do I love about this particular location? -friendly and attentive staff (I don't think I've met a rude staff member here. Can't say the same for other locations) -Food is always on point. I find that other locations have really good BBQ but their sides suck or the sweet tea isn't sweet at all. BBQ is always delicious, sides are yummy and the sweet tea is exactly what it's supposed to be. Sweet. -Ice cream come dispenser dispenses 4 at a time. IDK why but this makes me happy. Yay for more efficient free ice cream! -Staff keeps this place quite clean. The drink/condiment area is always being kept to. -I think pricing is quite decent. I know A LOT of people say its too expensive, but c'mon, where else can you get "fast food" bbq without it being fast food. $13-15 for some amazing BBQ and yummy sides is a steal. Now for the cons. Most of these things can't really be helped but are worth mentioning. -Parking can suck. It's in a major shopping area with other restaurants around it. I only come here on the weekends so I can't speak for what it's like during the week but I'm guessing it's not as bad -Speaking of the weekends, it gets really crowded here (as i imagine Sunday is usually the most crowded since kids eat free). Usual Saturday evening rush as most restaurants in the area experience. As much as I love this location, it's quite a drive for us. I've been a big fan of Dickey's Barbecue for quite some time, so I was super stoked to find out one opened in Eastvale. I gave them a few weeks to work out the kinks and decided to try them out today for some take out. I arrived at the store and was 5th or 6th in line. It took me literally 20 minutes to reach the front, due to a combination of people not knowing what to order and a staff with no sense of urgency. I, of course ordered quickly. 2 pulled pork sandwiches, Mac n cheese, and fried onion tanglers. By the time I reached the register, my onion tanglers we're not ready. Come to find out, they were never cooked in the first place. I walked out of the store 30 minutes after arriving. Never received an honest apology from the staff or manager who was working the register. NOT ACCEPTABLE! The food, luckily for Dickey's, was delicious as usual. Pork was juicy and tender. Mac n cheese was creamy and hot. The spicy BBQ sauce was off the chain! If it weren't for the food, this would have been a 0-1 star visit. I will hold off a while longer, but will return eventually. read more
