Came here for dinner because my daughter and I were in the mood for bbq. We could've went down the street to the bbq restaurant, but lately it has disappointed us. Upon entering we were greeted immediately. The place was clean and the menu looked good. I got the chicken breast meat plate. It came with sliced chicken breast, two sides which i picked out coleslaw and baked beans . It also came with a slice of Texas toast. Everything was delicious! The chicken was tender and the beans and coleslaw were great. A lady from the kitchen came out to check on us and to make sure we were enjoying our meal. We placed a catering order, we weren't told till we got there that items were missing but we were offered a swap so that's fine. We got home and items were missing so my mom went back to rectify. AMRIT RANDHAWA claims to be the owner of the establishment. She fought my mom about the mistakes even with the receipt for proof and told my mom "they were fucking busy" when she was trying to get our order fixed. I placed a complaint with corporate to which she called my mom saying she saw the complaint and proceeded to harass her and cuss her out over phone about it. Real eggs( not that liquid stuff)crispy bacon, and light griddle cooked pancakes with crisp edges almost like a crepe! Waffles cooked like they should be , golden brown to hold the butter and Sirup . They are also serving Mimosas. Priced right, sit down, served to your table. The menu isn't on the Pleasant Grove, Roseville Dickey's website. Friendly service that the owner personally oversees! The menu is more expansive than the few items mentioned above. Want a real breakfast during breakfast hours, do stop in to Dickey's BBQ in Roseville. Came in on vacation to eat tristin a new employee was amazing. However the manager on duty was very rude and disrespectful. The order was correct on the ticket. She made him come tell us a swap for a side could not be made. That if we didn't pay for it he would be in trouble. We asked for onions on a slider the manager made the sandwich and did not put them on then we heard her screaming at the new employee Tristan that it was his fault and he needs to go home. Every customer in the restaurant was listening to her scream at him. When we made her aware of how inappropriate it was to do that she again was very rude and disrespectful to us as well. She should not be ever talking to an employee this way. She needs to be retrained or pulled from her position. Even when we were asking the 3rd employee in the store why she was yelling at Tristan she yelled at him to get back to work. Dickey's has a great reputation for good, quality food and they were the most accommodating in terms of portions, delivery, and choices. The first time I've had dickeys I rated it a 3/5, but after trying it again i have to give it a 9/10, and since 5/5 is the closest to that, that's what I will give it. I got the brisket sandwich and it was packed with meat and flavorful. I also tried the giant baked potato and it was really good too. We ordered for delivery so our experience might have differed if we went in person. Food was pretty disappointing. The meat was incredibly dry. You know BBQ is bad when we don't finish it and end up throwing it out after a few days. Didn't realize the "green beans with bacon" would be closer to the canned green beans we used to get in the elementary school cafeteria. No sign of bacon either, except maybe a very dark dried up circular piece. Only positive thing is the sweet BBQ sauce is pretty good. read more

Ordered from here for the holiday and annoyed at the Goldilocks outcome. It's bbq and meat is the star of the show. Ordered a full rack, a pound of brisket, and a pound of pulled pork. Ribs were too dry, pulled pork was too wet, but the brisket was just right. Ordered a smattering of "large" sides. The biggest crime on the sides is calling it large when it is a 14.5 oz container that is not even filled to the rim and charging $9.49 for each one. Got the Mac n cheese, coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, and loaded mashed potatoes. The first 3 we're good but Dickies cannot do potatoes. The potato salad was tolerable but the loaded mash was loaded with false promises of there being something beside gooey potato. I ordered additional sauces to get the spicy sauce because it is their best one. $1 per sauce and it's the mini one like you get at a burrito stand. Another rip off. So, like I said, meat is the star of the show and they only excelled at the brisket. If your ribs come out like jerky it's time to hang up the BBQ tongs. read more

I have met one of the owners, Amrit Randhawa , several times and was impressed by the changes she has already made with more in progress. I had stopped going there primarily because the wait staff wore very soiled aprons and other clothes and the cleanliness of the overall environment was horrible. That is all changed now with staff very friendly and attentive to the customers needs. The restaurant is perfectly clean now and I feel comfortable eating the food. The food is excellent with a broad menu and I have never gotten anything I didn't like. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant to everyone! read more

2.5 stars from us but I will round up, because I'm generous like that. 1 lb of shredded Beef Brisket 1 lb of pulled pork 2 large sides of loaded mashed potato 1 small side of creamed spinach 1 small side of coleslaw The Brisket took the cake for sure. It was fairly tender and the seasoning was on point. Sadly there were 4 of us adults eating, along with 2 children, so we couldn't all just get down on the Brisket. The pulled pork was very depressing. It was slightly overcooked and had absolutely no salt. It was like if I had thrown pork into the oven, cooked it, took it out and served it. Plain, bland, and nothing to write home about. All three sides were "just ok" So we basically paid $70 for (not enough) Beef Brisket for lunch. The company was wondering why I didn't order from one of the other tried and true smokehouses nearby. Convenience? See what happens though?
