Service was great, employees were optimistic and the food is good. And the ambiance is indeed exquisite.

Always good BBQ from here, staff is super nice, pulled pork sandwich is a winner! They have some cool old school pics and posters on the walls, cool vibe.

To be clear, it's a fast food bbq chain, so my 5-star rating is based upon similar, competing restaurants in the class, such as upscale burger chains. The food met my expectations, but the staff and facility exceeded them. This restaurant is clean and calm. If you know anything about bbq joints, you know they tend to be sticky and gritty with tables and chairs steeped in the saucy residue of 10,000 prior customers. This place was clean, sleek and shiny. The staff were friendly and efficient. I had my food promptly. This was my first visit to this location, so I don't know about past experiences people have had. I was told they were under new management since a week before my visit. Considering pricing is competitive with many other fast food outlets, but the service and atmosphere much nicer, I was surprised there were so few customers. A plus that it's on an outparcel for a Walmart superstore, so you can take care of your errands in the same visit. I will definitely return to this location. Keep up the good work!

2 meat platter with pulled pork (straw) and brisket!

Got a 2 meat to go today for lunch as you can see in the picture the pulled pork?! Disgusting dry burn ends!!!!! And i mean dry burnt and hard completely inedible My brisket was fine but no one would accept that pork!!!!!Unacceptable!!!! They should be ashamed!

Food was great, service was wonderful, and the ambiance was amazing. The employees are welcoming . Tawna & Jojo were the best!! Super friendly & helpful !! We will be back !! Thank you both !!

I really enjoyed the Pulled Pork Combo at Dickey's Barbecue Pit. Fresh, moist, flavorful and filling. The Mac and cheese made for a great side item. I had a delicious meal in a clean location with top notch and engaging service.

From the moment we arrived, every dish was exceptional. The salad was fresh and beautifully prepared, the pork belly was absolutely outstanding, and the steak was cooked to perfection with the most incredible seasoning. Every bite was memorable. The biscuit was unreal--warm, comforting, and honestly one of the best I've ever had. What touched me most was the homemade ice cream. One spoonful instantly brought me back to childhood memories of my dad making homemade ice cream for us when we were kids. It was such a special and unexpected gift to relive those moments. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Parthee. She was absolutely amazing. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made us feel so welcomed and cared for. She didn't just provide excellent service--she made our night. Our family has been through a lot, including the heartbreaking loss of my sister. Father's Day hasn't always been easy for my sweet dad since then. This evening gave us something precious: a new happy memory together. Parthee, thank you for your compassion and for helping create a beautiful moment for our family during a difficult season of life. We are so grateful, and we will never forget it.

We placed our appetizer and drink orders and later dinner. We simply ordered the trout, crab Mac and cheese and I ordered the duck. The Water Mellon Pork belly came out first. The pork belly was tough and hard not like times past. We really needed a steak knife and 1/2 of the 2 portions we ordered was not edible. The trout and crab mac came out and I waited and waited not 10 min but nearly 30 minutes for the duck. I spoke to our waitress and I think the manager and they kept saying it takes more time to prepare. At about 25 minutes I canceled my duck as my wife and friend were done with their meal. I was given just excuses and no explanation. I suggested that since they KNOW the duck takes longer to prepare they should have started that first. I was told by the two I spoke too that they put in the order and it's started in that order so my duck was last. So the so called Chef's who should know the duck takes longer blew it along with the wait staff. In every restaurant setting I've been in, the chef would to start what takes longer first so the table of two or more would be served at the SAME time. But not here at Wood Ash Rye. As mentioned this was one of at least four other times here. But in our years absence, the familiar faces were gone, the so called Chefs looked like line cooks and the wait staff was clueless on how to make things right. Sad....we won't be back.

Strap Tank Brewery is a great place to grab lunch or dinner in St George, Utah…read more I noticed this place last time when I drove by it, and really liked the building and made sure I didn't miss it next time around. Today, happened to be, I had a quick trip to St George and I went to grab a quick bite before heading back to Vegas. It was between lunch and dinner, so the place wasn't packed at all. Hostess offered a seat by the bar or in the dining room. I picked the dining room. Waiter came over quickly, took my order, then returned with water and my Pepsi. Then a few minutes later he came back with the sandwich which was French Dip with Fries. The sandwich was more like a cheese steak sandwich, I noticed, but it was tasty enough to eat it, and didn't bother me much. Although, I picked out the spicy peppers from it, and the waiter asked me if I wanted it to remake the sandwich, but it was really fine. I only took out the spicy peppers, because I don't eat spicy food at all. That's all. I told him that I think it's really a cheesesteak sandwich, and he said that this is how they make the French Dip in this restaurant. I didn't make a big deal about it. As I said before, it was tasty and I ate it. He refilled my Pepsi. Got my check, paid, and left. This Brewery is worth visiting, because it looks really cool! The building itself is huge, very authentic with lots of great decorations. Waiter told me to check out upstairs because it's more than just a restaurant and a bar, it has lots of items displayed, very interesting stuff, nicely decorated!

The service is impeccable, and training that has been given to the staff shows with everything they do. Their service is really that good. My problem is with the food and the poor plating. Normally everything tastes absolutely fantastic, but unfortunately, lately we have been going on Sundays when the chef is not there due to our schedule. The last time I went, I think we found Jimmy Buffett's lost shaker of salt in my Gorgonzola topping for my steak. It was so salty I actually had to scrape the topping off just to stomach it, and eventually just stopped eating altogether because it hurt my tongue so bad. It's been 24 hours since I tried to eat their food, and my tongue still has cracks in it and hurts to move. That is an abnormally large amount of salt. The "Flambé" wasn't just a little salty, this was clearly a salty mistake that was made in the kitchen, and they couldn't care less that it had happened. The crème brûlée was curdled and the staff had issues serving the wine. We ended up with no apologies, even after kindly and respectfully voicing our concerns. With so many better choices in St. George, I probably will not be coming back.
