Small sides not much bigger than the sauce containers, the rib plates were way over done resembling beef jerky.

The food was not consistent and was not good, the sides were way too small, over cooked and had no flavor. Not at all worth the $50 we wasted.

Half empty mashed potatoes with no cheese Family Pack

I ordered Christmas dinner for my family, including kids, two days in advance, planning to pick it up an hour before dinner to serve it warm. However, when I arrived at the pickup time, the restaurant informed me they were out of my XL Mac and Cheese order. They hadn't called, apologized, or offered a substitute. This was especially upsetting since part of my family is vegetarian, and Mac and Cheese was supposed to be their main dish. On top of that, the mashed potatoes with cheese in my order were half-empty, missing the cheese, and looked reused--almost like they had been eaten and repackaged. It was gross and unacceptable (see photo). I spent $40 on Mac and Cheese I didn't receive and $27 on inedible potatoes. I still haven't been refunded for the missing items. The quality and service were extremely disappointing. This restaurant is not reliable. Please don't waste your money--there are much better options out there. I truly regret not choosing a different place for such an important meal.

    Price as advertised...
    Macs R W.

The big surprise was getting overcharged more than 20% (before tax!) over the price advertised on their wall menus for our sandwiches (photos). DW said her sausage combo was OK, but my brisket combo was so loose (fatty) as to have had barely any brisket meat at all. No napkins, just rolls of brown paper towels back at the register. The rest room (a single unisex one-holer) had a towel roll balanced atop the empty dispenser and trash overflowing onto the floor. I've enjoyed other Dickie's, but I won't be back to this one.

Mold all around the soda fountain area.

Feel free to post my full visit from your security footage! My husband, kids, and I stopped in for an early dinner, we had never been but see the reviews online so we wanted to try it out! Getting seated, we didn't want a high top and it was the only thing available. The hostesses couldn't give us an estimate of what the wait time would be for a different table, but I'm realizing after our horrendous experience- they probably weren't trained. We ended up just taking the high top to negate any further confusion with a time estimate. It's crowded inside, and your table is crowded. The energy and atmosphere is tense and overwhelming. It's a sports bar, though- so I feel like that's consistent with any other sports bar you'd pop in to. We decided on the build your own appetizer to start, it came out room temperature. While our server was taking our order for the rest of the food (there was apparently an issue with the table next to ours and their food being taken to the incorrect table, again with poor training) the manager went out to the table next to ours to deliver food and turned to the server at my table, taking my order, and interrupted me to yell at her. He yelled at her about putting the incorrect table on the tickets and the food going to the wrong table, yelled at her the right table numbers( I guess for her to remember next time?), and then stormed off. Leaving our server, to pick up the pieces and apologize for an emotionally triggered man that should have some self control if he's leading a team or part of a company. I was absolutely disgusted with the behavior of the leadership in this establishment and the food was unremarkable. Cold, bland, and stingy is how I would describe the food we were served. There were barely any cheese curds on the Poutine, The Ole Smokey pizza was mediocre and the pasta was bland. I think this restaurant rides the coattails of being on the food network but it does not meet expectations, by far. There is a lack of training all around and that falls on leadership, only. The hostesses couldn't give a wait time, the bartender was over serving customers (I'm reporting that separately to the state), and the servers/runners aren't fully trained for the floor- but instead of teaching, training and finding a resolution- their lead will berate and belittle them to satisfy his ego and ruin your experience. I'm actually grateful the food was as mediocre as it was because I'm happy to never be back.

I had never been to First Watch before, but I expected a wait. I checked in and was quoted 25 minutes for a party of four. After 30 minutes, I checked in again and was told I was second in line. A few more minutes went by, so I asked again, and now I was fifth in line. I was confused, and they explained that people checking in online could jump ahead of me. They also said they were unable to accurately quote a wait time, and that it could end up being much longer. I know many other places use a hybrid check-in system, and I've never experienced an issue like this. I understand when things simply take longer than expected, but tables were being turned over and people were being seated. I must have just been incredibly unlucky with the timing of people checking in online. After finally being seated about 45 minutes later, we put our order in right away since we were now going to be cutting it close. I'm used to breakfast places being pretty quick, but it took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. We ended up being 15 minutes late to the movie. I expected the opening credits to still be rolling, so I wasn't too stressed, but we definitely missed the first five minutes or so of the movie. The food was pretty good, but my eggs were over hard when I had ordered them over medium. What disappointed me the most was that nobody seemed to care that the quoted wait time was so far off. There was no apology or acknowledgment. Our waitress was okay, but she avoided our table like the plague while we were waiting for our food, probably because she knew it was taking so long. Empathy and kind words go a long way.

Understandably so. The restaurant has a rustic feel with heavy wood beams and neutral-colored artwork throughout. It's warm, comfortable, and exactly what you would expect from a modern steakhouse. Service was very good. Could it have been a little faster? Sure. But I'm not going to knock them for that. It was Father's Day and I don't think I saw a single employee standing still the entire time we were there. In fact, one of my favorite parts of the experience was sitting close enough to the kitchen to hear everyone communicating. It sounded like a well-oiled machine. Organized, professional, and honestly pretty cool to witness. We started with the cinnamon rolls. They were fine. Nothing I am going to dream about later, but certainly nothing to complain about either. As for the entrees, my wife ordered the French toast, my father had the brunch burger, my father-in-law went with the smothered sausage biscuit sandwich, and I ordered the steak and egg tacos. Honestly? Everyone was happy. My tacos were loaded with well-seasoned, medium-rare steak and were exactly what I was hoping for. The cocktails were mighty tasty as well. Then came my favorite part of the meal. As we were wrapping up brunch, their whimsical manager stopped by and handed each of us dads a gift card to come back as a simple Father's Day thank-you. Completely unexpected, completely unnecessary, and exactly the kind of small gesture that people remember. Good food gets you in the door. Good hospitality gets you to come back. Firebirds delivered both, and my family would happily return.

A friend and I visited this restaurant on 06/22/2026 at 9:00am for breakfast. The dining area was not busy with just 3-4 tables occupied and a few people at the barstools. I was seated quickly by a hostess and given two menus while waiting for my friend to arrive. Menu: it's about the size of a Sears Catalog (exaggeration but about 8+ pages front and back) and appears to serve food approved by the United Nations (food from different parts of the world). This is the type of menu Gordon Ramsey would go crazy over and shred to pieces. Portions are not larger than before but prices increased considerably! Food: I ordered a Veggie Omelette with Spinach added and Whole Wheat Toast, decaf coffee, and water. My friend ordered an all-meat skillet, sourdough toast, coffee, and water. The omelette/skillet was overcooked and dry. My friend sent back his toast because it was served with a MOLD SPOT on it. Our server was not swayed by the mold and replaced it. No apologies or contact from the managers. By this point, we just didn't want to finish what we ordered and left. Dining room is well lit and spacious. Lots of available seating but could not help that their "Grand Opening" sign has been hanging outside for WEEKS. Servers are slow and never seem to be pleasant (more melancholy). Overheard one server speaking with some guests at a table using profanity. This review was based on my individual experience. This used to be our favorite breakfast spot but clearly is no longer the case. Having watched the gradual decline in quality and service, I am no longer inspired to spend my money at AZ Diner.

If you want to go into a dark, wood-paneled, bar-like establishment with red vinyl booths and mob bosses meeting in back rooms, you're better off at something like Durant's. This is not that. What great steak! As I said, the best we've had in the west valley. Excellent cuts, top quality meats. Cooked perfectly and as asked for. Tender, flavorful steak and the best baby-back ribs Ive ever had. For once they're not drenched in sticky-sweet, cheap BBQ sauce and overcooked. Nope, these were moist and fork-tender. The burgers are fantastic and the ribeye is juicy and full of flavor. The sirloin is top notch and the "Flo's Special" filet mignon is just perfect. The sides here are particularly good. The broccoli is unusually good and cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese is legendary. It's hearty and gooey and very cheesy. Excellent. The potatoes are standard but very tasty and come with all the fixings. For dessert, the strawberry shortcake is my favorite. It's delicate and not cloyingly sweet. It's a delicate, light, fresh-tasting and very moist cake. The perfect finish to an excellent meal. You can't go wrong here. It's always packed, so do the waitlist before you arrive. Really good.
