I want to preface this review with that I've been to the Vegas location. The drastic difference here is that we weren't given a full experience. There seemed to be not enough waitstaff. We sat for 2 hours and didn't get our hats until the end. Never got the paper for the table to draw on. The server acknowledged that we were all over 18 and would get insulted, yet, we were never insulted. Food was okay. Steak was overcooked and I never got a chance to order an appetizer. Seems like an easy upsell to say, "hey are you losers gonna order apps or just be cheap af?" . I had to ask three times for a water and I think the whole sarcasm with service doesn't really work if the service is subpar. I don't blame waitstaff as they are only human and clearly short staffed. I also believe this to be a training issue and that these waitstaff have not been instructed on how to use the sarcasm for the experience while also providing effective service. There's a lot of food options these days and the food here is not cheap. The burgers are $19 and I could go to Olive Garden right now and get unlimited pasta, soup or salad, and breadsticks for $13.99. That is not an exaggeration, that is a real Promo going on right now. I could Probably tip them Extra to insult Me and they would probably be ruder to me Than what I experienced at Dicks Last Resort., Daytona beach location. The people in my party are in the medical profession and were So ready to be skewered and got nothing. Kinda makes me sad they didn't get to leave with lower self Esteem. This is central Florida, when you promise an experience you need to Deliver or people will go Somewhere else. 5 of us walked in and just to start there were only 4 people in there, only ONE table was clean! Waited at least 10 minutes for someone /anyone to notice us.... A woman came to clean one of the dirty table right beside us and started busing it. I loudly made a comment that well they have bussers to clean but nobody to wait on people, the waitress/bussier whatever she was made a comment to the bartender and he said "fuck it" do it, needless to say she started "waiting" on us....PLEASE believe I understand the concept BUT this woman was just a BITCH! I had a serious question about the menu and she throws my menu and asked WHY THE FUCK DID YALL EVEN BRING HER!? You could have seated us! We went in at around 8 maybe and after looking around for a hostess for 5 min or so one showed up and we were told a 20 min wait and our name and number taken. Over half an hour at least later we got a text saying to download yelp and we had been now added to the waitlist. Then it said we were next in line for wait. We walked all the way back and there was a long line of people waiting and again no hostess. A I assume manager came over and asked were we all waiting and everyone said yes. I spoke up and said we had been waiting for over 30 minutes and just gotten a text saying we were now on the waiting list. The hostess then showed back up and said oh the iPad died and was charging and I just added them. Then seated a party of 4 in front of us. I asked how much longer for us then. Food is decent but basic. There was no interaction. You go there for "rude" or "crude" service/entertainment and we got nothing at all. Regular service like you would get at any other restaurant. Food is crazy overpriced and service is very slow. No funny hats, no jokes, no napkin throwing. If you don't sit directly center of restaurant with a big party they don't pay any attention to you at all. We're locals and thought we would try it on Saturday night and it could be a place we go with friends to have a good time but it was nothing special unfortunately. We had seen videos from previous locations and it looks so fun. Very overpriced tourist trap. So disappointed as we really need something fun to do in Daytona! read more
