They are in PERFECT CONDITION! I called corporate and got the run around, saying they can be exchanged or returned within 7 days, which I am within that period, if they are in selling condition, which they are! The fabric is perfect, only a small dirt smidge on the side. Yet dicks sells defective shoes? Letrice was amazing and appreciated her efforts. We needed a bike off the ceiling rack. She did not hesitate to help. Looked like heavy bike so she said she would come back for help. She came back with a forklift to move the canopy's that were blocking the ladder. She then attempted to get the bike and made the decision to call someone for help and reassured us that someone would be back to help us. Someone came in a few minutes. She went above and beyond. Anyone else would just call someone to help us instead of herdelf, but not Letrice! I hope she gets recognized for this. A small act makes a big difference in anyone's day. She made ours! read more

I came to the store yesterday, Saturday (2/22/25), at approximately 4:00 p.m. in the hopes of purchasing metal baseball cleats for my 15-year-old son. In the past month, yesterday's visit marked our 3rd visit in February... we made our way to the shoe section of the store. It was pretty busy, and as I attended to my 9-year-old daughter and my 9 year old god son I had told my son to seek assistance from an associate in finding the right cleats for him. After about 20 minutes, my son found me in the store and asked us to leave as no one was helping him and after numerous requests for the cleats on the store's provided tablet. I asked him to watch his sister and nephew as I sought assistance. A young associate was nice enough to help, and as I requested the cleats my son wanted in a size 9-1/2, an associate came out from the back room and announced, "He already requested those shoes and now he's acting like a bitch!" I couldn't believe what I had heard!!! I was flabbergasted!!! I didn't know what to think or say... when I asked the young associate what his co worker had said, the young associate's body language confirmed what I had heard. He tensed up and looked away and said, "I didn't catch what he said." I followed the associate with the foul mouth towards the back area where they store the shoes. I noticed the name on his tag "TONY." I asked what he had said, and his demeanor and body language said it all. He didn't deny it and asked I leave the area. I left the area as soon as he called a manager/supervisor. Debi came out along with another young associate/supervisor, and as I started to talk to Debi, I thought maybe this would be the end of it as long as I brought to their attention "Tony's" actions... Tony then came behind Debi and proceeded to laugh and mock me as I was telling Debi my recollection of the occurrence. Tony's actions do not in any way reflect Dicks customer service. I have never been treated this way, and after it all, I continued to purchase baseball equipment for my son. It is my personal opinion that "Tony" be reprimanded and re-trained so that this will never happen again. As a small business owner, I would never allow any of my employees to conduct themselves like this while under my employment!!! read more

So this store is connected to the mall and today when I got there it was 10 o'clock and the inside entrance was closed and it was raining. I had to walk outside with my child in the rain to the main entrance I guess and when I asked, are they going to open the Mall entrance? They said not till 11 I think that is the dumbest thing especially if it's connected to the mall and the mall opened at 10 what is the purpose because inside there was a whole bunch of people working walking around, meaning it wasn't understaffed. I had an unfortunate experience with an employee named Debbie. I had a few articles of clothing in my hand. When I asked where the restroom was, she condescendingly asked me if I needed to use it. Why else would I be asking for the location of the restroom? She then let me know I would have to leave my items at the front desk. It was very clear that she was racially profiling me, and I'm disappointed that this behavior was so prevalent in my experience. Will not be back. read more

I came here during the grand opening and it was great. The energy was good, employees were nice and lots of great selection. That was 5 stars. I came back today and what a difference. First off, they didn't seem to care about the mask mandate because not only did they not care about unmasked people roaming around, they helped them by answering their questions and letting them purchase at the register. Secondly, without a ton of people roaming around like opening weekend, the selection looks way slimmer. Lastly, there were barely any employees but I can excuse that because i understand the employment situation right now. In the end I had great respect for this place after my first visit but I lost a bit of that seeing their lack of desire to care about my health and safety in terms of enforcing masks. I finally had the chance to go check out Dicks Sporting Good now that there one near me. I personally only got Project Rock stuff at the Glendale location so I was interested to see how this location would be. When you walk in, it looks pretty nice and you can't even tell it was a Sears before. This Dicks Sporting Goods location is only 1 floor but they have a lot of space. I was able to find the small section of Project Rock gear but didn't see any of his shoes. I didn't see any workers on the floor or got approach by one. The store was very organize and clean so that's always a plus. read more

I've previously visited about a month or so ago looking for some specific expensive shoes & was surprised how few employees were in this department to help customers. Decided to go today to purchase those shoes & not only were there very few employees again, I was actively ignored. Eric the manager on duty went out of his way to track down a refund that I couldn't track , it was a while back so I left my number so he can reach out , which he did unfortunately he wasn't able to find the transaction but he directed me to customer service which it got handled 100% . Like I told him excellent customer service is hard to find anywhere nowadays so I truly appreciate him following up with me and showing how he was concerned. I brought my dad to the Dick's in Northridge to help him find comfortable shoes, as he's 70 years old and has a lot of foot pain. In the shoe department, we were immediately greeted by Alvaro, who proceeded to help us for over an hour while continuing to be attentive to other customers. He brought out countless pairs of shoes, letting my dad really get a good sense of what works for his feet. On top of being so kind, positive, and patient, Alvaro was knowledgeable about the products and offered helpful suggestions. My dad was able to purchase a great-fitting pair of shoes thanks to Alvaro's amazing customer service. Apparently it was only his 5th day at the store, but he was a complete all-star! I highly recommend visiting Alvaro in the shoe department for all your footwear needs. (Additionally, their shoe inventory was really impressive, especially in this day and age when stores seem empty due to the popularity of online shopping. It was nice to be able to try on a bunch of shoes in-person!) read more

The bad reviews are true!! I experienced it myself. The Latino girl at the changing area was very rude! I was looking for Dodgers youth Jersey and she said "there in another place along the panels middle aisle!" I had no idea where she meant so I went around the large store but could not find it. I went to the front cashier he was nice and said he only knows the dodgers jerseys are by the changing room , that's where I was initially. So I went back to the changing room area and started to look for youth Jersey. The girl came back and I said I'm looking for youth jerseys and I couldn't find them elsewhere in the store. Annoyed she walked to the area where I could find the Dodgers jerseys for kids. It was a short walk and she could have shown me the first time. It wasn't busy at all. And she pointed to them and without smiling walked away. In fact she never smiled at all! I couldn't find the exact size but I didn't want to ask her. I went to the counter and asked the cashier. He couldn't help me with that but he was very polite and kind. I proceeded to another store and bought the Dodgers jersey. It was a very unpleasant shopping experience except for the cashier. The lady manager at this place ( didn't get her name ) is pretty much the rudest person I have ever encountered. When I took my wife's snow boots back for return, she took one look at them and she immediately said we are not a rental shop here in the rudest way possible. I tried to tell her that the staff person who sold us the boots specifically said we could return them in good condition. The boots were in good condition and instead of them being polite about it, she kept condescendingly and rudely making us feel like we were doing something wrong. The service in this store was terrible! We had to wait a long time to get a size for a pair of shoes and the employee that was originally helping us out was walking in the another aisle pretending to work. He kept talking with other employees and laughing, not helping us out. He was pretending to work by walking in the sock aisle and was just touching the socks, not bothering to organize the mess. That employee ended up calling another employee to help out because in the end, he was too lazy to do so. They also never have anything in stock when we do come here. We only go to this location because it's convenient, but it's definitely time to find another. It's not worth coming to this location, if you can find another one, please go to that location. They got all these employees but barely anyone is helpful. They really live up to the name... And to add to this negative experience, as we were paying, they ended up closing the entrance to the mall, and I politely asked if they can open it for us since we parked on the other side of the mall. The employees have a terrible attitude. I went to try to purchase a weight bench and I saw one on the floor with a "sale" sign on it. I asked the cashier how I purchase it, if there was a box or something, and she asked on her walkie talkie about it because she seemed confused, which is fine. "We're not taking it apart you have to take it as is." That's fine. "It's gonna fit in your car?" Yeah. "Fine pull your car around we'll load it up." I went and got my car and walked back in. I ordered the ProForm Pro C22 Studio bike that was on sale on 9/1. No problems with the delivery. It was delivered on 9/7. The issue is with the bike. It is defective. I set it up and the touchscreen does not work properly. I contacted Dick's to let them know and their response is that I have to contact ProForm. I wanted to exchange it, but one I tested positive for COVID, so I cannot leave and two I set the bike up already. Then I find out the motor is not working and again I contacted Dick's only for them to tell me to contact ProForm again. I wanted to use the bike while I am stuck at home with COVID, and I cannot even do that. They only care to sell you a product. After that you are in your own, with or without COVID. read more

Do not EVER order items for delivery! They use Door Dash & if something goes wrong (like Door Dash doesn't leave the items at your door) there is NO way to track the order. There's is also NO requirement listed in your order confirmation that anyone needs to be home to accept the delivery. I tried the online Chat Help they couldn't find the order, was told to call the store. Did that & no one could help, told to call their delivery center. Did that was told they cannot track items delivered by Door Dash (and had zero idea why a store would use that). Finally got a manager at the store who could not help me until she could find what happened to the items via Door Dash - which frankly should NOT be my (the customers) issue. If their delivery ppl misplace items - not my problem - but not even allowed to cancel my order for a refund until that is all sorted out. Please keep in mind I gave my Order Number to all parties I contacted - that number was useless. I needed a Tracking Number which doesn't exist when they use Door Dash. Had a good experience at this store on Labor Day weekend. The salespeople are young and energetic and like to talk about their sports. We had a young woman named Debbie, who plays rugby. She was not just a pleasure to deal with, she went out of her way to find us a 15% discount on a pair of Nike shoes. This review is for return policy and staff. They say that you can return items as long as they are in sellable condition. Cool, I bought a wagon with that in mind. When i tried returning cashier and manager were rude and insulting. Beware they will try to reject return if even there is a lint on the product. Their return policy is a scam in my opinion. Its up to managers discretion. We eventually got it refunded but wasted alot of time and energy that didn't need to be wasted. 800 number does not help, the only thing they recommended is to drive to another store and try there.
