From the start, phoning in for my appointment, I was greeted with great customer service. Something that is unfortunately almost non existent these days. Upon arrival for my appointment I was met with the same great customer service. Plus a bonus treat for me, a shop dog who kept me company while I was waiting. This is a small independent shop who is really there to take care of their customers. They're not about upselling you or charging you for things you don't need. As a woman it's hard to find shops that you can trust, let alone enjoy patronizing. So I was delighted to find these guys. I went in for an oil change and I received an oil change. None of this, "oh by the way you need" or "you should really consider" I usually experience. They were helpful and answered any questions I had. The timing was as to be expected, ready on time for my scheduled service as well as the typical service time. I highly recommend these guys and will definitely be returning for my future service needs!

They took the truck in right away. I have dealt with a lot of auto shops for the things I couldn't do myself in my 62 years, but I have to say the guys at this shop were great. Very nice and personable folks. They had a clean waiting room with free water, fruit, coffee and actually had laptop computers that you could use while you waited as well. They did a road test before and after the service and all worked out very well. It is great to deal with such people. They did a brief inspection of the truck and reported that all was well. It was very nice that they didn't try the "up-sell" of a service that wasn't required. Really refreshing. To the staff at Spring Works... thank you for being really stand up guys and the courteous service excellent work. I'll tell my friends and family and be sure to return.

We've always appreciated the professionalism and expertise we've encountered there, and up until now, considered them our go-to diesel specialists. Let it be clear: this review is not a reflection of that team, but solely of the egregious experience we had at the Airway Drive location. From the very beginning, our dealings with the Airway Drive shop were marred by poor communication, extended delays, and a general air of disorganization that suggested either a lack of competence or a troubling disregard for customer service. Still, we remained patient--until the situation took a turn that was not only unprofessional, but wholly unacceptable. Upon arriving to retrieve our vehicle, I witnessed someone driving it toward the premises under the guise of a "test drive"--a process that should have been completed prior to our scheduled pick-up. More baffling was the bulky, black electric bicycle inexplicably loaded into the truck bed. Alarmed, I immediately rushed to the front office for answers. In the brief time it took me to walk in, the bike had vanished from the truck bed. When I confronted the staff, Jena informed me the truck had gone out for a final test drive and went to determine who had taken it. Moments later, Travis Coleman--co-owner of West Coast Diesels--came forward and casually admitted to using my vehicle to pick up a birthday gift for his son. His explanation? That it was "just a 7-mile" test drive, and "the truck runs great". As if the brevity of the distance somehow excused the gross violation of trust. Even more troubling was the fact that the odometer showed 33 miles had been added (from when it was dropped off)--well beyond what would be considered standard for any diagnostic test. One week = 33 miles Let's be clear: this was not a test drive. This was a co-owner of the business using a client's property for personal errands without permission, without disclosure, and without remorse. That Mr. Coleman felt entitled to use our vehicle as if it were his own--especially under the flimsy pretense of a family-related errand--is deeply unsettling and entirely unprofessional. It begs the question: if the ownership is comfortable doing this, what other ethical boundaries are being crossed behind closed doors? This incident alone is enough to erode any confidence in the shop's integrity. But unfortunately, it was not the only issue. Our vehicle sat in their care for a full week for what should have been a relatively routine repair. We received no proactive communication--every update had to be requested--and were met only with vague excuses about being "down technicians." While staffing challenges are understandable, poor planning and dismal communication are not. As a customer, it is not our job to chase down answers or accept delays without accountability. In light of this experience--especially the unauthorized use of our vehicle by a business owner--we will never be returning to the Airway Drive location of West Coast Diesels. If you value professionalism, honesty, and basic respect for your property, think twice before entrusting this shop with your vehicle. Disappointment doesn't begin to cover it. I had my 86 Corvette at a shop in Santa Rosa for engine and transmission replacement. The…read moretransmission was taken to SR Hydramatic for rebuilding with a shift kit installation. When I received the car i complained that it shifted sluggish and could not tell shift kit was installed. Within a year the torque converter failed. Took it back and they serviced and replaced the torque converter. This car had less than 2500 miles on rebuilt tranny and engine. I drove it to my new home in San Tan Valley Az, 770 miles. Two days later 15 months after SR Hydramatic had serviced and replaced torque converter it failed again. Steve the shop owner insisted someone had messed with the throttle cable adjustment which he insisted was the cause of the first failed torque converter. NO ONE HAD TOUCHED THE THROTTLE CABLE AND STEVE REFUSED TO ACCEPT IT AS HIS BAD REBUILD I took the car to a shop in Queen Creek Az with reputable trained technicians, i asked them to examine the tranny. The torque converter failed was literally fried as well as the bands and bushings. THE MAIN CAUSE OF THE FAILED TRANSMISSION WAS DUE TO SR HYDRAMATIC INSTALLED AN UNDERSIZED PUMP WHICH WAS DESIGNED FOR A 6 CYLINDER ENGINED. THIS CAUSED EXCESSIVE HEAT WHICH FRIED THE TRANNY I HAD CALLED STEVE SEVERAL TIMES AND LEFT MESSAGES FOR HIM TO CALL ME SO I COULD TELL HIM WHY TRANNY FAILED. HE WOULD NOT ACCEPT MY CALLS OR CALL ME BACK SR HYDRAMATIC DOES NOT REBUILD TRANSMISSIONS ACCORDINGLY TO SPECIFICATIONS. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE THEM WORK ON YOU TRANSMISSION The repair shop i used for engine and tranny replacement,!reimbursed me for the cost of having the transmission rebuilt in Queen Creek Az.
