Over the past 2 years, this is my go-to shop due to convenience, as it is very close to my workplace. I've come here to do smog, oil changes, tire rotations, and other maintenance items. Based on small-talk with the mechanics, some of them work at multiple locations and they seem more like contractors? To be honest, I've had two slightly poor experiences, once with an employee who blew me off and another time when the work wasn't quite done properly. I'd dock half a star for that. However, each time the manager or owner, who I believe is named Glenn, was able to set me right. (Older gentleman with a beard). This place is connected to My Mechanic in Rhonert Park California. I Took my car to My Mechanic for an inspection. They told me they inspect the entire car and that it would be 195$ for an inspection. I told them what the problem was, that there was a noise and vibration while driving over 30 mph and the guy explained it could be a number of things and that they would check the entirecar for problems. They called and told me that there was nothing wrong with the car but I needed new tires, and that the noise was coming from the tires. I decided I would go with another shop for cheaper tires. When I went to pick my car up I noticed it was in the exact same spot and position as when I dropped it off, it seemed strange but didn't think much of it. After getting new tires the noise was still there and now louder than before. I took it to another shop and within seconds of looking at it they told me both my struts are bad and a number of other things. I explained that I just had it inspected at My Mechanic, and the guy proceeded to tell me there was no possible way they looked at it and didn't notice anything. So I called My Mechanic back to ask them about it. I asked exactly what they do for an inspection and he said they inspect the entire car everytime, when I tried to explain that it did not seem as though they inspected it do to my struts being completely broken and that he did not inform me of that he hung up on me and blocked my number. This shop is connected to Mobile One in Rhonert Park the owners name is Glenn Meyer and I will absolutely never do any of his businesses, either shop ever again. I had a great experience this past Sunday when I needed to get my car smogged. It was not very busy which surprised me but I was still impressed with the customer service and time spent there. My husband and I were able to have lunch across the parking lot and when we were fi she'd my car was done. I also appreciated the reminder from the woman working the front desk about the perks of being a AAA member and being able to walk into a branch and get registration tags on the spot. I moved to Rohnert Park in 2016. I began bringing my car to Mobile One who did excellent work on it. From brakes, to smog, and anything else that was needed on my 1999 Lexus. My Aunt came to visit me and needed some work on her car - we brought her car in and had that work done as well. When my son got back from the Air Force on a break- we went in to get his oil change and smog done to send in his registration renewal as well as my car and my Aunts car. Recently my tire was low and I tried myself to put air in the tire at Costco. It didn't do the job. I went to Mobile One on a Sunday, was very happy to see that they were open and they corrected all the air in my tires - I have been a Loyal Customer of Mobile One for the past 8 years and now going on 9 years! Before I give my review, I want to first shoutout Leeland! Leeland provided excellent service, was very thorough, and had great customer care skills. The other workers were also very helpful an knowledgeable. Overall, my experience with the staff has exceeded my expectations. I came today for an oil change and it was discovered that my tires needed to be rotated in addition to replacing the air filters. The prices were also reasonable (to my knowledge). They start working on your car without permission then when you ask to stop they will yell, threaten, and even go as far as say to me " smash me". When I started to record all of a sudden they know nothing that was said. 0 STARS!!! Seriously! Smelled like weed when I walked in someone finally came and stated, 'what do you need?' After his response, & estimate of $88. I declined the service and was shocked to be verbally assaulted by this, obviously intoxicated person. After I left, I called to simply ask for a manager's name to follow up, I was rudely spoken to, told 'we don't have a manager' and then hung up on... Well done sir, great business practices. Allegedly a family owned business, I hope Mom and Pop are aware of your unsavory customer service practices. Business is run on customers, if you don't have customers, you don't have a business! Understandably times are tough, so show your employees value and they will quality up your company. The place has been on the downswing for awhile. If you have an issue with your vehicle that may be two or three different things, they'll diagnose the most expensive issue first and then, when it turns out to not be the case, diagnose the cheaper issue without so much as a "my bad." Even if there's no maliciousness to this, and this happens at random, it shows that the mechanic just isn't that good. The place looks far more disorganized, with an RV permanently parked next to it like it's some junkyard and not a suburban environment. The owner has a shtick where he pretends that he's making you a deal when it's not really a deal. I'm willing to pay the money to have a job done right. read more

I had already started off having a rough day and I know that I need my oil changed because it is very low. I was two minutes away from this establishment and I went to turn my car on, it turned on, but immediately turned off. Upon trying again, I got my car to turn on! So I quickly drove over and was greeted by a kid that looked irritated to see a customer. I told him I needed an oil change. He said dismissively "OK leave your keys in the car and go into the lobby." I was under the impression this was a drive-through oil change where I stayed in my car. I was hesitant to have my car turned off and on repeatedly so I told him my car was having trouble starting and he cut me off and very rudely says "If your car is having problems starting, I will NOT work on it because we close at 6 o'clock and I don't get paid overtime for your car breaking down in my shop." Wow okay are you kidding me? First of all it was 430. Second of all what an extremely rude way to communicate to a customer. Third of all, if my car were to not start after the oil change, (which should not take an hour and a half by the way)... Clearly all it would take is to just push it out into the lot. All my car needed was an oil change. His entire attitude was I don't give a fuck and get out of here. Thank you for making my day worse. I will never go here again. "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." As a Yelp Elite member, I try and write accurate and honest reviews. I rarely give 1 star. 4 years ago, I took my daughter's BMW 318i to have a full synthetic oil change at Mobile 1 Lube Express. Soon afterwards, I notice oil in the driveway. I took it to a BMW specialist and they said wherever I got the oil changed, they finger tightened the oil drain plug and almost 2 quarts of oil leaked out. It cost me $100 to have it serviced. So last Thursday, February 28th, I took my 2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0L to give Mobile 1 Lube Express another try. The owner, Glenn gave me a discount for trying them again.Today, while I was changing the air filter, I was flabbergasted that they didn't fill any of the fluids indicated on the service receipt. The receipt said the coolant, windshield washer fluid, and brake fluid were filled to full (see picture of receipt). The car had been sitting overnight and not yet started. What I observed was the coolant (orange colored) which Ford uses was below minimum. It's supposed to be filled to the middle of low/high marks. The brake fluid was also below minimum. And the windshield washer fluid was also low. See pictures of the coolant tank. On top of that, they used the wrong oil. My car's manufacturer recommends 5-20 weight. Mobile 1 Express Lube put in 0-20 weight. That's too thin. I will need to have pay someone else to have the oil changed again. Whoever is working there either careless or in a hurry. There were no other vehicles in the service bays so I can't imagine why they would skip the fluids. I also emphasized this is a unique 1.0L three cylinder engine and not the larger 1.6L 4 cylinder engine. The oil looked like it was new so at least they did change it. But again, they used the wrong oil weight. The oil filler cap has 5-20 oil weight printed in bright yellow characters. I will call the Ford dealer tomorrow and ask them if using the wrong oil in the engine will cause problems. I won't be fooled a 3rd time. If you want it done right, avoid this business. If you want to go here, make sure you pop the hood and check their work when you get home and be prepared to purchase coolant, windshield wiper fluid, and brake fluid to fill the reservoirs if they didn't do it. Be aware that specific cars require specific fluids. My car takes orange coolant (formulated differently from the green stuff) and my brake fluid is DOT 4, not the more common DOT 3. UPDATE 3/8/2019: After trading multiple Yelp private messages with Glenn M., I gave up. He wouldn't take responsibility for the inadequate service and kept asking me to take the car back to him even though I showed him the pictures. He challenged me that he was right and I was wrong. He said he would pay me $100 if he was wrong. Well he is wrong as you will see below. What a huge ego! He defended his employees saying they were ASE certified. Businesses can and do make mistakes. Owning up to them is important. So I proceeded to find an independent qualified auto service center to take a look at my car. It's been only 1 week since the original oil change. I called the Ford dealership where I bought the car and they said 0-20 weight oil is not the manufacturer's recommendation. They were too busy to service my car. I took it to an automotive place I used before and they squeezed me in this morning. They said the coolant level was too low and added the orange coolant that I bought yesterday elsewhere. They said the brake fluid was way low and added DOT4 to the correct level. They said my brakes had no leakage. They have ASE certified technicians on staff. They also said 0-20 weight is a bit thin and could cause extra engine wear and I should be running 5-20 per the manufacturer's recommendation. I will have them change the oil when they have more time and pay for another oil change. So now I'm out another $27 for the unnamed automotive service who charged me the minimum and I did appreciate that. I'll be paying another $80 when I bring the car back with an appointment. At that time, I'll have them check the coolant and brake fluid levels again. I'm purposely not naming where I took my car a 2nd time to fix the screwups because I don't want Mobile 1 calling them and harassing them. read more

I sent a message to auto shops in the Santa Rosa area asking for help with my turn signal that wasn't working. Nate replies stating that he could fix it. The shop closes at 6 and I came in at 5:44. He fixed my light and worked past the time they were supposed to close. Then he also told me this shop also does others services just as a dealership would!
