OMG went there 02/12/22 for UFC event with my friend , I ordered 1/4 beef sandwich so did my friend , food was pretty gross but we're hungry asf and ate it anyways . Later at night both of us kept waking up and throwing up over and over again. It was our second meal of the day , I ate at Dennys and my friend at Taco Bell earlier that day , so there is no way we could've get poisoned anywhere else but in Diesel Tap House , I work as a truck driver always travel and I eat in different locations everyday . Never had such a terrible experience with food. I hope management will be extra carefully next time , cause it could've been a kid !!!!! read more

It was all cold, my Korean bbq burger was thinner than a school lunch burger and it was burned flat. The bbq was burned and the topping was old and smelled odd. Okay honestly I would of given this restaurant two stars if the owner hadn't been so rude to someone at my table.. long story short.. some friends and I went here to have a good time, we were. Some guy came up to someone at my table and tried to have a fight. We had to CALL the bouncer over to handle the situation. The workers told us "the guy does drugs but he's normally a pretty nice guy" then some girl was going crazy upset at our table. The owner later said the guy at my table was racially profiling calling the guy a crack head. Sorry anyone that tries to fight someone has something wrong with him and should not be tolerated for even a second.. especially since the bouncer later come over to our table to say the "normally nice guy that does drugs" said we started something... no one ever spoke or even looked his way until he was getting in our face. I did end up dancing and the music was good. Great dj. I didn't eat any of the food so can't comment.. I do have a son and I would never bring him bc of this incident. I would of felt terrible if he had seen someone try to fight someone he cared about and not of felt safe. I felt safe after the guy was removed. The owner said the the guy at the table was racially profiling.. there were two black guys at our table, a Spanish guy, and three Italians, and two white people. No one was racially profiling. The food was greasy, when I asked for no butter instead they used butter flavored oil. I tried to clean off the food. Pushed it around trying to dry it off. They said I ate half which I took 2 bites. Made me sick and they wanted me to pay for it. Service was not good either. They don't even clear the tables that people already left. Used dishes everywhere. No one in the kitchen even wears hair nets and they had a young child running around in the kitchen. County needs to come by and check them out. Violation city! read more

After all the 5 star reviews for this restaurant, I was not expecting to be so disappointed. I drove 25 minutes and was really let down. We started with drinks, the Kicking Mule and the Mexican Fizz. Both drinks were entirely too sweet. I don't know if they added simple syrup into them but they tasted like sugar syrup. We finished them only because we had to pay for them. For entrees, we got the Asian beef tacos, wicked pork tacos, hot wings, and a side of macaroni and cheese. As soon as the food came out, I could tell the macaroni and cheese was not fresh. It was cold and looked microwaved. I asked to have that removed from my check because I didn't even eat it. The hot wings were 95% bone, barely any meat at all. I was still hungry when I left. The hot sauce had dried onto the wings and was hard, essentially tasteless. As for the tacos, they were not even a quarter full. There was barely any meat in any of the tacos, it tasted like I was just eating a tortilla. Atmosphere was okay for a sports bar. Tons of TV's and a huge bar. Our waitress was very friendly but it was extremely apparent that they were very understaffed. Overall, would I come back? No. Not until there are some improvements. read more

We had curbside pickup tonight and it far exceeded our expectations! We each ordered The Diesel sandwich- we should have split one because they are HUGE! The pork tenderloin was well seasoned and crispy. I didn't think I'd care for the slaw directly on the sandwich, but I was wrong. It was the perfect counterpoint- creamy and crunchy. The tenderloin had to have been 1/2 pound. So much goodness- I have more than half left for tomorrow. I got Mac and cheese as my side - excellent choice. Husband had French fries which were equally delicious. We will definitely be repeat customers. read more

The food here is legit. I got a pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing. It had pimento cheese, coleslaw and a little bit of bbq sauce. Very flavorful! My daughter got boneless bbq wings and fires and loved the sauce. My husband got regular wings. The drum and the flats are together. He got it with the bourbon wings with a side of the ghost sauce. The sauce was crazy hot but good. Our server was very attentive and nice. The only criticism I have is that the lights are VERY bright in there. They actually bothered my eyes. I imagine if this is a bar, at night I wouldn't want it that bright. Hopefully they turn it down and create a mood! read more

Well it is definitely where the locals hang out. Very much understaffed, I felt sorry for the bartender she was running her legs off. I had the the basic b. It was a good burger but, the fries were awful. Cold, limp and greasy. The big kicker (we sat at the bar) I looked up and a worker was vaping in the KITCHEN! I liked to fell off the stool. We had finished our dinner by this time. As it turned out this person was the expediter of food! It took a long time to get our check and pay. I mentioned it to our server she apologized. The food and drinks are average. I ordered salmon cooked medium, it was well done and so dry. But the reason I'm leaving a 1 star rating is the poor customer service at the staff & management level. The waitress brought shots to the table and before she could hand me mine, she wasn't paying attention and it slipped off her tray and the sweet creamy shooter spilled over and inside my purse, and my pants. The waitress did apologize and I was calm despite my concern with the damage to my very expensive leather vintage designer purse and the stuff inside. I spent over 15 minutes in the bathroom trying to clean it with paper towels - it was a MESS . You would think the waitress would immediately offer to take a % off the check or comp'd a drink. Nope, she told me I apologized and that was enough. I went to the manager, she offered nothing either and looked annoyed I was bothering her. Its not about the $ for me, as much as doing something to acknowledge the bad experience and the damage to my personal property. I have worked in the service industry and I know what proper service looks like. Mistakes happen, we are human. But, when they do it's how you handle them. Most restaurants with decent customer service standards would have proactively comp'd my entire bill. This place is local, came several times with friends and family. Hooligans and sketchy clientele which was not much better than the horrible service from the bartender. About halfway through our dining experience she finally checked back with us only to say "I'm leaving for the night". Obviously she was looking for her tip which quite frankly was tacky and I did not reach for my wallet. When I said "ok drive safe" (me somewhat implying that I just watched her do some shots with some of her sketchy regulars.). She continued on to say "not sure when the other bartender will be here but the managers over there drinking (she points to a group of rather loud hooligans and the manager sporting a Diesel Tap Room shirt on the customer side of the bar)" CLASSY or shall I say TRASHY! Food was at par for bar grill type restaurant but the atmosphere leaved a lot to be desired. We ordered cheese curds and pulled pork nachos. Super annoying to have to ask for a plate. I realize they are appetizers but clearly worthy of the tiny plates. Go for the drinks, not for the food. Fries were nasty, the garlic mashed potatoes had more garlic than potatoes, and I asked for a Philly wrap and there was hardly any cheese. Also no where on the menu did it say the wrap would have tomatoes and lettuce added to it, not exactly a Philly style wrap at that point. Great tap house! Came to Buford on a Sunday to catch a play and decided to try it for lunch. For me there are four aspects to good pub drink, food, atmosphere and staff. The beer list was a good spread of local, imported and domestic. The food was upscale brew house, without the upscale price. We sat at the bar and have speedy service. Faster than expected. Atmosphere was surprisingly pleasant. I say surprisingly because it's tough to get an "industrial" feel in a shopping strip, but they do it. Pool and poker was happening on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of sports on multiple screens, we watched a Primer League match. Staff was personal and owners checked in too see if we were doing good. I understand this I is a new place but it has potential to be a local landmark. We'll be back for Atlanta United games! read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. We were so excited to try this place out tonight. We waited well over an hour to get our food. When it finally came out, what a disappointment.. the ranch tasted sour and old. The fries were cold, soggy, and burnt! (Pictured) The chicken tenders were disgusting! Server was very nice, but avoided our table I'm assuming due to the long wait on the kitchen.
