    Crushing the car
    Chris T.

I had a free morning in Las Vegas and was deciding what to do. This was something that sounded intriguing. The description of Aggression Session got me laughing and it sounded like fun. Why pay for therapy when you can do this? I called at 9am when they opened to see if they had an opening. They said they would call me back. I wanted an 11am slot before lunch. They called back within 5 minutes and said if I came right now, they could fit me in. They do not offer to pick you up, take an Uber. I arrived about 20 minutes later. I was given a pink safety vest. I was shown a safety video that was like duh if you have a driver's license. I explained to them I am not a young 20 year old drunk kid. They don't require a driver's license. The website said all have to do a breathalyzer. But I did not have to do the test. I got my instructor who then in a sandbox walked me through what the machine was going to be like, Then we got into a golf cart and off to the crane. You get about a 5 minute training to use the machine. The machine is simple instructions. The speed is a button that is marked with a turtle for slow and a bunny for fast. I was why is that? He explained many construction workers cannot read, hence the picture. I was what?! Are you kidding? He said no, scary huh? Yeah! But I got in, put on my seat belt and learned to use a crane. You get a headset and your instructor talks you through the controls. As long as you listen, you will get the hang of it. A few times your instructor will snap photos that you can later purchase. It would be nice at the price you pay that you get some free photos. I paid for one video just cause how many times in your life do you get to crush a car? The photo was $5. You can get the whole set for around $35 but if you purchase within 24 hours, you get a discount. I just wanted one photo. Then you learn to move the crane in a circle, to the left, right, go up on the back wheels, forward, back, and then the ultimate.... crush the car, pick up the car, pop a tire. My car got stuck in the air and I got to shake it back and forth to try and get it off the crane. I had so much fun! I was laughing and laughing and so was the instructor. This is also a place where they train construction workers. A few stopped to watch and they were laughing too. Who doesn't need a good laugh before a business meeting and then you can tell them, I crushed a car today while everyone else is gambling. You actually learned a fun skill. Cost: $749 to learn how to use a crane and then crush a car! It is expensive, but you are paying for the car.

Brian and Alex were amazing! Our boys had such a fantastic time. It was so fun watching them go on the equipment. Thank you so much for an excellent experience!

A great experience all around Did the Mega Dig package and loved it ! My instructor Michael and his student instructor Adrian were the best and Taylor at the front desk helped me from the start with my reservation over the phone months ago and was there today to complete the event. . I felt well informed and safe through the whole process and they made sure it was fun An unforgettable experience that I have dreamt of for years . Also, gives you a taste of the hard work equipment operators do day in and day out to build infrastructure we need and enjoy Thanks to all the staff at Dig This for making this a possibility and especially to Michael, Adrian, and Taylor for their work today JOB WELL DONE

    Introduction fun

I took my 11 year old son here this past weekend and by far he (and I) had the best experience I could've ever imagined. Upon arriving were so warmly greeted by Taylor in the office - her positive and upbeat personality started this experience off right. We then met Carsen, and all I can say is WOW - he was so knowledgeable, professional, kind and has the patience of a saint. He walked my son, through all of the safety measures and mechanics of the experience with the 6 ton excavator - but more than that, he provided clear and concise instructions that were age appropriate, he encouraged my son and was so personable, which in turn made the experience all that more engaging and fun. He spoke to my son about what being a Heavy Equipment Operator is like, the training required and by this experience he inspired my son to look into it as a career in the future. We had a blast and this experience was well worth every single penny. The 6 ton excavator was amazing for my 11 year old to learn how to handle, the digging and basketball games were so fun for any adult / kid, but I think what truly makes this place rock are the people like Carsen and Taylor. We will definitely be back soon!

There aren't enough stars to give this place the rating it deserves! 10/5 for sure! We came for a family outing, adults ranging in age from 28-56 and everyone LOVED it! The staff was friendly, accommodating, encouraging and extremely knowledgeable. We had so much fun that we couldn't stop talking about it for the entire 45 minute drive home. We drove the 6 ton excavator, the backhoe and the 9 ton excavator and we already are planning to return with the rest of the family to try out everything else. We made wonderful memories and now have great pictures on our fridge with huge smiles on everyone's faces! Highly recommend!!!

We had the absolute best time at Dig This. I took my friend and son this time as I had visited before. The whole crew there was so fun and our instructors Brian and Jo Beth were awesome. We also really appreciated that there was no hard sell for any photos or merchandise. We will definitely be back!

We came for the Kids Dig. It was a busy holiday weekend and we grabbed the next available spot the night before. i thought if we got there before our session maybe a wait list spot would open up. But they were completely booked. There is a waiting area with mini corn hole game on the table. But it didn't keep my son entertained long enough. He started to get pretty restless while we waited for our session to start. There's also free coffee (Keurig) on the waiting area plus a gift shop for toys, shirts, books. The staff was very friendly and patient. When it was our turn we walked over to the dig area. There were 4 excavators (maybe 5) I can't remember. They took everyone's pictures, one with the parents and one with the child by him/herself. Then they did a little crash course and they were off scooping swinging and dumping My son had a blast controlling the big excavator. I highly recommend sunglasses because you are facing the sun in the afternoon. They give you the options to purchase the photos at the end. $10/print or $35 in plaque.

What a very cool experience! We were in Vegas and I wanted to go to a bunch of museums. My other half said, can we please do something else? I hesitated and said, what do you want to do. He said, I found this thing called "Dig This" vegas and I would love to try it! I said cool. So I called and they were able to get us in the same day. What a fun experience! We tried two different things and had a great instructor! I forgot his name, but he was really good and made me really comfortable. I did think it was a bit pricey..... but I am still happy we did it and would do it again.

From my husband: I had a blast here fulfilling all the tonka toy dreams that you have when you see large construction equipment. Operating a large excavator, digging holes, stacking large tires and literally shooting baskets by scooping basket balls was so much fun! Our instructor Brandon was so cool, always calm, keeping us safe and walking us through operating a 20 ton machine. I'm doing this again next time I'm in Vegas! From me: I was an observer and photographer for my husband's adventure. The staff was so kind making sure I could be a part of it all with my own headset. The viewing area was perfect to get some great photos and videos. To see the sparkle in my husband's eyes after the event was worth it. Thank you Dig This!

Where else can a toddler live out his dreams of working on a construction site? The staff were all so very patient and friendly! They do require reservations, so make sure to check out their website for their availability. Our reservation was for 10:45 AM, & the Vegas heat already set in, so I definitely recommend getting an early AM reservation if possible! They did a big fan and misting machine which helped keep us cool. My 3 year old had an amazing time! 10/10 experience, and will return in the future!

Encouraged to safely explore the capabilities of these amazing machines.

Bought a big dig for my brothers milestone birthday. We had a great time with a patient instructor, a big excavator and a D-5 (?) bulldozer! Mighta got us proficient enough to rent a small excavator for some projects on his ranch .

What an INCREDIBLE weekend!! I'm AMAZED at how much we accomplished as a group in 2 days! GRIT was…read moreone of the best experiences of my entire life and I would highly recommend being a part of this program. As a former sales manager and someone whose been involved in many community organizations, this program is not only a blast, but is great for teamwork, bonding, and deepening relationships. Over the weekend we... Hiked through the hot springs & climbed down mountain terrains with ropes. Paddle boarded across the Mojave. Sky dived. YES!! I DID IT!! Did target shooting in the dessert and learned the importance of gun safety with a Navy Seal with pistols, an M4, and a shot gun. My favorite was the m4. Didn't miss 1 target! Drove the CanAm SUPER FAST through the dessert!! Who knew Vegas is so much more than just the strip? The landscape just beyond the strip is gorgeous and there are so many awesome opportunities to get outdoors and explore, especially if you're with people like Jeannie and Steve who know the best places to explore!! After thriving through this weekend, I have to say I feel VERY BLESSED that I was chosen to be a part of this incredible pilot program with Practice of Positivity! I'm pretty adventurous as most of my friends know, but after a bad experience bungee jumping in high school, I took sky diving off my list! Although, I do love stepping outside my comfort zone and believe in living life to its fullest, I NEVER planned to step out quite that far! As a matter of fact, I have said many times I would NEVER sky dive, ESPECIALLY because I'm scared of heights, I get motion sick, and I'm claustrophobic. However, I was VERY WRONG because HANDS DOWN, sky diving was the BEST experience of my life, I didn't get motion sick, and it was not scary like I had imagined it in my mind!!! It was bizarrely calming and beautiful to see the mountains from a different viewpoint. I didn't get motion sick, nor did I feel claustrophobic. It was quite the opposite as a matter of fact. I had amazing peace, it was freeing, and I literally feel like after this, there isn't anything else I couldn't conquer in this lifetime!! I overcame a HUGE FEAR and I could not have done it without Jeannie, Steve, and the encouragement of our group!! WHAT DID I LEARN? Be open to be inspired & encouraged by others. Trust your gut! This weekend was a good reminder to continue to surround yourself with people who inspire you, encourage you, lift you up, and BELIEVE in you, even if you have some doubts. You can do anything you set your mind to doing. Take deep breaths. Let go! You're in God's hands.

We knew we were in for physical and mental challenges throughout the day, but what we didn't know was how much FUN it would be when we worked with our accountability partner and encouraged our team!! Hiking to the hot springs in the heat alone would have been challange but we had the opportunity to hike with inflatable paddle boards in our packs added just enough weight to make the hike a bit more difficult. This pushed us out of our comfort zones and made us use our own GRIT. Hiking over the last hill and seeing the beautiful cool water was a welcome sight. We inflated the paddle boards and paddled down the majestic Colorado River. After lunch we headed to Nelson for cliff jumping and wrapped up the GRIT experience by discussing our "glows and grows" from the day while laughing, taking pictures and sipping champagne!!!

It's located just outside the Strip at an outdoor mall, super easy to get to and not far at all. At first, I honestly thought it might be a temporary pop-up, but it actually seems like a permanent setup, and it's huge. The highlight is definitely the animatronic dinosaurs. T la hey're seriously impressive and kept our kids completely engaged. The space is divided into different themed play areas, which makes it feel like there's always something new to explore. There's a bike track, a paleontology dig area, a sand zone, puzzles, a tug-of-war game with a triceratops, and even a section where kids can "feed" dinosaurs with balls. At the end, there's also a small jungle gym to climb around on. There are endless things for kids to do here. We easily spent a solid two hours and could've stayed longer. It's the kind of place that keeps them moving, playing, and using their imagination the whole time. I also noticed they host parties, which would be such a fun idea for a birthday. Overall, the price felt very reasonable for how much time we spent there and how much the kids enjoyed it. Honestly, I just wish we had something like this closer to home!

I knew I had to take him here for his 2nd birthday when I found out it existed. It was us and several other family and close friends that went with him. All of us were adults. I do wish they had family packages because it's definitely geared towards kids in elementary school or younger but each adult still had to pay 24 dollars each, and that was with a Nevada resident discount. My son was free because he was just under their signs height at least, but 24 dollars added up fast for something that we were not the target audience for. At least the admission is for all day and you can come in and out if you want to grab food. They do make the entrance into the experience special for the kids and it involves pushing lots of buttons and a time machine. The actual animatronics are impressive and they have lots of different areas to stimulate little brains. Puzzles, intricate ways to feed a dino balls using different tubes and levers, an area you can try to shoot balls into dino mouths, a small race track with little vehicles, a large dino they can ride, a person coming around with a dino puppet, educational info on dinos, a sand pit area they can pretend the are archeologists, a coloring station, a place to fishing, a dino tooth brushing station, dino tug of war, and a multilevel playground where you only wear socks. My son enjoyed every second of it. Its definitely a perfect spot for a dino obsessed child.
