I've been seeing Diggs pop up on Yelp's delivery suggestions. I wondered where the heck this said pizza place was, and who knew it was only 5 minutes from my house! Possible the greatest discovery of the month, for more reasons that it's convenient location. I prefer to keep things simple when testing out new pizza joints. Call it an entrance exam. If a pizza joint can't produce a decent pepperoni pizza is it even really a pizza joint? So after examining Digg's very extensive and intriguing menu all I ordered was a large pepperoni ($16.44). Their prices are kind of random but very reasonable for the quality and size. Holy smokes it was delicious! They definitely don't go light on the pepperoni! My pizza was nearly completely covered. Also, there was so. much. CHEESE! I had to use two hands to eat because if I only used one everything would fall off and all I'd get was a slice of bread covered in marinara sauce. Such good pizza I can't believe I didn't know this gem of a place was only 3 miles from me! Now that Digg's has passed my entrance exam, I look forward to trying one of their more exotic pizza flavors.

I absolutely love this place! Whenever I am in Boise I make sure to either get pizza, steak fingers, or a delicious sandwich. Their food is made fast and fresh and always on point. I got the pizza sandwich and I added chicken which was delicious. One of the greatest things that they offer is a military discount!

We went to Diggs tonight and we got a large half Diggs pesto and half sausage and black olive. The pizza was very good and I really like the taste of their crust. Their sausage is really tasty and the sausage is a little spicy. We also got wings but they were not great. Overall, Diggs has good pizza at a good price. It's a tiny little place so I would recommend to get your food to go but if your in the area swing by and grab some food at Diggs.

Ranch sauce, chicken, bacon, jalapenos with feta. AMAZING!

If you haven't yet tried Diggs, you must! Great flavors with tons of toppings. They also have finger steaks at a really reasonable price. If your not in their immediate area it's worth the drive to southwest Boise to pick up or dine in. They have great flavor combinations that are very unique.

Breadsticks. Good and yummy and UNDER $3!

You won't find this pizza or anything comparable anywhere. Use the meats and veggies that fall off on your morning omelet.

Great calzones. You choose any two pizza toppings. Could use more cheese, though, but they are very generous with the toppings.

The lasagna was definitely the star. It looked terrible on the plate (like it was mostly tomato sauce), but it was so light and delicious! I could not stop eating it. The pizza crust was very good. We thought they added way too many toppings (and forgot one that we asked for) but it was still pretty good. Done with some moderation, it would be excellent. The service was very well orchestrated and they communicated delays, etc. throughout the process - you can tell they are well trained. Note: The spicy honey sauce isn't spicy at all. We heard the people next to us say the same thing. Maybe they should have a regular and a spicy so they could actually have a spicy hot for those who want spicy!

Yet I wanted to experience their take on Detroit pizza one last time before they lock the doors for good. Yesterday, I called to order a Detroiter pizza, my go-to pie since they opened, for takeout. The woman who answered the phone asked to put me on hold for a "short wait." Ten minutes later I was still on hold and hung up. Today, I decided to try again. I called at around the same time, 4:30 p.m., which normally has not been a busy time there before the dinner rush starts. This time, I was told to call back. What? So I went online and ordered there for pickup. I got an email back immediately, saying my order had been submitted but that it wasn't confirmed until I got a second email with my pickup time. More than an hour later, I'm still waiting for that second email. What a horrible operation they've become. Their pizza was excellent in the beginning and I didn't mind driving across town to a convenient location near the airport to pick up one of their pizzas. But as their quality slipped, I found myself going there less and less. Today's failure will be the last time I try before they close forever. All I have is the memories from better days.

We waited less than 5-10 minutes for a table of 2. The service was excellent! We were originally seated by the door, so we were getting blasted by the summer heat every time it opened. Once a table opened up away from it, our server offered to move us (and we did lol). We ordered two small pizzas, the Comet and the Idahoan. Both were delicious! We ended ordering their current special to-go, which was a BLT-style pizza. One small pizza is enough for two people but if you want to bring home leftovers, I recommend ordering two smalls! The table behind us who also ordered an appetizer and 2 pizzas, were served 10 minutes before we were served. Always willing to overlook some hiccups in service if the food is good... unfortunately the food was terrible. We ordered a Don Ho and the sauce was so bland it was gross. The center of the pizza was so soft we thought, at first, it was under cooked. After looking at the bottom of the pie we could see it was cooked but we also noticed that the sauce was so watery it pooled in the center and made everything soft and gross. The margarita pizza was so overcooked the cheese was melted into the pizza and the basil leaves were wilted and yet crispy at the same time. Below is a picture of what it SHOULD have looked like, and a picture of what we got. It was so bad we actually sent it back and they said, "Well that's how we always make it." We had high hopes but after this all around lacking experience, we won't be back.
