Fantastic dedicated gluten free spot for pizza, pasta, comfort foods, and desserts. They've made a ton of improvements and have some truly delicious gf sourdough pizza slices, some of the best gnocchi with vodka sauce I've ever had, and so many amazing fried options. Gluten free chicken tenders, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, etc. Their dessert bites with Nutella and cannoli filling are super addictive too! I really wanted to like this place because vegan options are always appreciated, but this was honestly terrible. I paid $9 for a tiny square of vegan pizza that looked more like a sample than a slice. The toppings slid off immediately, so eating it felt like trying to balance vegetables on a sponge. The bread was the worst part -- cheap, rubbery, and had that "is this food or recycled yoga mat?" texture. For $9, I expected an actual decent vegan pizza, not a tiny piece of sad bread with toppings that gave up before I did. I appreciate that they offer vegan options, but this needs serious work. The food was absolutely terrible. I will not mince words. The "cheesy garlic bread" was a piece of gluten free sandwich bread with cheese on top, not one bit of crunch and also slightly raw. The pizza was absolutely raw, bland and flat out disgusting. The saving grace were the four mozzarella sticks for the ridiculous price they charged us. The food here also claims to be celiac safe but the chance of cross contamination is absolutely present. No one washed their hands, waitress is touching both gluten and non gluten products and placing them on trays. Plastic utensils are in open holders and people who are eating gluten also touch them. Overall, this was a no for someone with celiac disease who doesn't want to be glutened or get food poisoning. read more

First - this is for the new location in Chelsea. My wife and I were walking around NYC, and talking about getting food. Across the street from us was Vinny's Gluten Free Kitchen. My wife having severe dietary restrictions and issues wanted to check it out. She was sold on the dairy free, gluten free chicken pizza. I got the gluten free Chicken Stromboli. $68 freaking dollars? Wow, this place must be pretty good I though. No. I was 1000% wrong. Again, my wife ordered a gluten free & dairy free chicken pizza. Almost 40 minutes later - It came out with no chicken. My wife then took it back down (seating is up stairs which is fine, other that it being hot as hell up there). It comes back up she takes a bite and discovers that the cook put f****** cold chicken on her pizza. Like, refridgerated cold. So, she takes it back down again. She over hears the jack ass cook in the kitchen said "what now". They warmed it up a bit - so it was edible, but almost immediately she started not feeling well, so we're pretty sure she didn't even get the right f'n pizza cause now she's trying not to vomit. or maybe this place is just lying to people claiming gluten free. Don't know, don't care. Then you all ain't got the sense let alone buisiness accumen or dare I say customer service to offer some $ back or even a full refund? My fried ravioli had a PAPER QR code in it, a whole QR code cooked into the crust?!!!!! They offered to remake it and i waited too long before just leaving and not receiving the remade dish. I have celiac and have been fully gluten free since diagnosed in 2012. On Friday 5/8/26 around 6pm my sister and I went to Vinny's Gluten Free Kitchen on 9th Ave. To begin with, we went there excited to go to a 100% gluten free pizzeria. Based on their website and social media accounts, that's how they portray it. We were misled. Their 9th Ave location has both regular food and gluten free food separated by a glass case. We ordered GF Fried raviolis, GF Chicken fingers and fries, GF slice of buffalo chicken pizza. To be honest, the GF pizza didn't look appetizing at all. (Also just to note, the left side that had gluten containing food also had a little sign that said 'iPIZZA' - I wonder if this is how they get away with saying that Vinny's Gluten Free Kitchen is all gluten free- by putting the gluten containing food as part of a different name.) I asked multiple times if everything we ordered was gluten free and they said yes and, on the tablet, it did say gluten free in front of everything we ordered. The whole time we were ordering I just felt like I wanted to leave because nothing was what we had expected but I sucked it up and thought I was just being paranoid because there have been so many videos on Instagram and TikTok praising this place. My sister and I shared all of the food with each other. It was just mediocre. We have definitely had way better GF pizza at other places, even GF frozen store-bought pizza that was tastier. We finished eating and made our way to a Broadway show we had tickets for. That's when the nightmare began. When I personally am glutened, it starts around 2 hours after eating the food. Without realizing the time, at the two-hour mark, I started feeling off and the nausea began. Unfortunately, this was during the Broadway play. My sister and I ended up having to miss most of the show and spend it in the bathroom. The full story can be read in the link above but long story short, I threw up twice in the theater's bathroom and three more times outside. The next afternoon, Saturday 5/9/26, around 12:56pm, we called Vinny's and asked to speak to the manager or owner. Whoever answered asked if they could take a message and we said that it was an important matter and would prefer to speak to the manager. The person on the phone said to call tomorrow (meaning Sunday). We asked why we couldn't speak to someone now, and that it's a really important issue and they said try back later. We then said 'ok' is there a name we should ask for when we call back, they hung up on us!! Sunday morning, 5/10/26, I decided to send them an Instagram message and let them know. They were apologetic and we had some back and forth of me explaining what happened and them replying with similar apologetic sentences. I had to keep following up when they said they would reach out to the owner. I asked to be compensated for the meal as well as the wasted play tickets. After following up a few times their offer was...wait for it... A COMPLIMENTARY MEAL. I replied back: 'There is no way I would eat there again and put my health at risk. What I would like is a reimbursement on the money I spent on the food that got me sick as well as the play tickets that were wasted because the food got me sick.' My message has been left on read again still. Cost of the meal, cost of the wasted Broadway tickets, cost of a doctor's visit related to this incident, canceled weekend plans, 3+ weeks of lingering effects to my physical and mental health; everything stacks up. I doubt I'll see any money back from them, but I want my experience shared far and wide to warn others not to go to this restaurant. How can they, in good conscience, call their place GLUTEN FREE KITCHEN and mislead people by saying they are 100% gluten free and having an FAQ on their site saying everything is gluten free while also serving GLUTEN?!! read more

Buyer beware! I ordered a pizza and kale salad with garlic bread. $6.99 delivery charge. $12 for the kale salad combo. The order arrived 40 minutes late; the pizza was cold; the garlic bread was missing. So it was $12 for a handful of raw kale (probably about 2 large kale leaves). I called the support line. Was offered a choice between a redelivery or a refund. I opted for the refund as I didn't want to wait another hour for a delivery, especially as they said they couldn't guarantee it would be better. They said they'd "investigate" the refund and get back to me in 2-3 days. It's been 3 days and I've not heard a thing. And the pizza wasn't even good. read more

So good in theory. First, the gluten free slices in the case look so sad compared to the gluten ones. Maybe a whole pie with the right kind of crust would be good. Then I ordered a salad with crispy chicken, after asking a question about the crispy chicken, and they gave me grilled chicken. The gf garlic bread was also missing. They apologized and then I waited quite a while for the right order. The staff was pleasant and seemed to care, even though they made that idd mistake. That said, the gf mozzarella sticks were not bad for being gf. The salad was okay too. The place was consistently busy and the table were all filled. As a New Yorker, would I crave this? No. Also, they have a sign saying they have designated fryers, but if you're celiac, do your homework. read more
