Had the curry chicken which was huge, but the flavor was bland and the chicken was kinda mushy. The pork soup dumplings weren't my favorite, but the family liked them. Service was great. In and out pretty quick.

I had Dillon's Dumpling House on my must try list for awhile and finally made it for an afternoon lunch. I was craving dumplings and Dillion's is a fantastic choice to satisfy said craving. I ordered the 6pc Fried Chicken Dumpling and 3pc Fried Egg Rolls. The dumplings were like pot stickers and very , very delicious. The dumpling dough was crispy and soft (it is possible) so to me it was made perfectly. The egg rolls were also good and crisp and the filling was tasty as well. I like that one is able to control the heat level as each table has a small pot of chili pepper sauce to blend with the sweet and sour sauce...so definitely take up on that! The interior dining room is small but very open, offering a sushi bar or booths. The Denver Post is sponsoring a "Best of" dumpling challenge so I definitely put in a good word for Dillion's along with my vote. Hope to back again soon to try the Dim Sum and stir fry.

Best dumplings and xiao long bao! Each order is fresh made right behind the bar. Come in and try the "Dillon's Xiao Long Bao" for a flavor spread of 8 fabulous different soup dumplings on one plate! This spot is a must!! See you there.

Incredibly disappointing restaurant. I love xiao long bao (Shanghai soup dumplings), and this place's XLB were terrible. My friend and I shared 1 serving of the spicy XLB and 1 serving of the regular pork XLB. All XLB came in tiny tin/aluminum trays, which ended up strongly affecting their flavor. Everything tasted tin-y and off. Also, two of the servers were clearly (very visibly) flirting with each other and ignoring the customers. We tried to wave them down to ask where our companion's dish (stir fry beef) was, and they ignored us until we stood up and walked up to them directly. It turns out that the kitchen somehow forgot about that dish, so we finished all the other food before the stir fry dish came out. We also never got a water refill because the servers were too busy flirting. I am very disappointed that we spent our time and money here.

I like the fact that they offer a variety of different flavors of xiao long bao. I'm a strong believer that original pork xiao long bao will forever be the best and no other flavor can top the traditional dish. Service was good upon entering the restaurant. We were immediately seated since it wasn't too busy. Water and menus were brought out in a timely manner as well. We ordered: Hot and sour soup Cucumber salad Dillions xiao long bao (1 of each flavor) Original xiao long bao (10 pieces) Taro bun (x2) Custard bun (x2) It actually came out to a lot of food. I first tried the dillions xiao long bao because I was curious about the different flavors. Cheese - did not taste the cheese at all Kimchi - no kimchi flavor either Curry - barely any curry flavor Szechuan - the only one I liked with decent flavor Lobster & shrimp - tastes exactly like it Garlic - okay. Nothing great The original was what I had next. I had also asked when the food was served if they also provided sliced ginger to pair with the xiao long bao, which they don't, so that was extremely disappointing. Xiao long bao is best eaten with sliced ginger with your sauce. They also premix the dipping sauce for you which I did not like at all. The ratio of soy sauce, vinegar, and whatever other ingredients they put in the sauce is all wrong and doesn't bring out the flavor of the xiao long bao to the best of its ability. They only have soy sauce and hot sauce at the table as well so you can't even mix your own sauce properly to dip your xiao long bao in. I didn't like how the xiao long bao was steamed with foil. You can see how the texture is all wrong. The bottom is all soggy while the top is stiff and dry. Overall not impressed at all. The taro bun seems to be the brand I buy at the Chinese super market and warm up myself at home. The only thing I liked here was the hot and sour soup.

As China Cafe was closed on Wednesday, haphazardly went to Dillon's Dumpling House nearby for a quick lunch. Although the restaurant was not large, probably a sushi restaurant conversion, but seating was comfortable. The menu reminded me of Bryan's Dumpling House in DTC, with its signature handmade multi-color Xiaolongbao, with some variances in flavor. Besides Xiaolongbao and dumplings, they also had Chinese flavor ramen, dim sum and even Peking Duck. Ordered Dillon's Xiaolongbao, steamed pork dumpling, steamed veggie dumpling, pan fried leek cake and BBQ pork bun. All were quite tasty and up to standard. Besides dining in, they also had frozen Xiaolongbao for people to prepare at home. It is at Tower and Hampden

This restaurant's existence makes my life better. All the food pictured was $60 before tax and tip. Everything was delicious, and I want to see this place thrive. Casual sit-down. Friendly service. Fairly small space but plenty of places to sit at 6 on a Friday. The duck could've been a little juicier, but I still enjoyed the dish so much. No notes on the dumplings - all great and made with love. Sesame balls were extra big, chewy, and crunchy. Perfect. I LOVE being able to get a few staple dim sum dishes at night time.

What used to be a sushi restaurant is now a Cantonese/Chinese restaurant. With a namesake like Dillon's Dumpling House they have a wide range of dumplings to choose from the menu. I ended up getting the Dillion's dumpling sampler which had one of each dumpling. Dumpling come out after 10-15 minutes and are piping hot and stay hot for quite some time. I don't have a favorite because all the dumplings were awesome. I also ordered a hot and sour soup and that was amazing too.I'll have to explore the menu some more next time because they offer a lot more cooked foods, ramen and even fried rice! Service here is stellar and the atmosphere is also top notch. Don't let the strip mall vibe get in the way of stopping here. Excited to return now that I know I have access to yummies down the road!

The food here is amazing, with even better service! Everything is made in house per our server, and it shows. The dumplings, soup dumplings, bao, and crab rangoons were top tier.

Just discovered this place existed and it did not disappoint. Small, bright, clean place with friendly service and a great selection of food. We tried pan fried veg, pork steamed dumplings both filled generously and full of flavor. Our favorites were the soup dumplings, we tried the Szechwan Spicy (#5) and the Garlic (#8), and they were both soooo good. We also tasted the crab cheese wontons, which were also delicious and creamy. Check this little local charming place out!!

Good food!! We got take out two nights in a row. The first night we tried Dim Sum. Last night we had traditional Chinese takeout with chicken fried rice and Mongolian beef. I really like the Dim Sum. Staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean and has modern look. Parking is in a shared lot. Good luck with that. Dillion's is close to our house so I know we will be back.

Do I feel lucky to have such an amazing, authentic dumpling house in my neighborhood. Family owned, Dillon's is known for their many flavors of soup dumplings (xiao long bao) that come in colorfully wrapped dough based on each flavor. Service was friendly but got a little slow when lunch rush hour started to pick up. We started with a cucumber salad to split. Crisp, fresh cucumber was tossed in a spicy chili oil. I had to try Dillon's Xiao Long Bao 8 Flavors - a sampling of their soup dumplings. These are made to order and brought to the table steaming hot. (I had to take a few pics since the steam fogged up my camera lens.) My server asked if I wanted him to tell me the flavors or if I wanted to guess. I figured I would test my palate and try the guessing game. I could easily taste the flavors of the curry, Szechuan spicy, cheese, lobster/shrimp, and guessed the original came in the traditional non-dyed dough. The kimchi, crab, and garlic had subtler flavors and weren't as obvious. Prices are super reasonable and the order of dumplings I had was very filling. In addition to soup dumplings, there are many other options available such as dim sum and other Chinese dishes. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Dillon's Xian Long Boa. So pretty and so very, very delicious.

So there's plenty of parking you just might have to walk a little further to get to the door. We were greeted and seated immediately. We placed our drink orders and then we were off to the buffet. It was set up like any other buffet, there was an Asian station with the traditional Asian foods, a fried station with your typical American foods, and even a dim sum station hidden in the back. They also had a Mongolian Grill where you could create your own! And they had a couple rolls of sushi out for grabs. The flavor of the foods with nothing out of the ordinary, pretty standard and tasted normal. So I think for the variety of options you get and the price that you pay is worth it. I didn't get to try the Mongolian Grill, but I definitely wanna go back and give it a shot. They also had a soft served ice cream, machine, and a chocolate fondue station. They also offered fruits for dessert as well. With all of the options they have available. I think you could definitely find something for everybody. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely go back!

My wife and I found out about Dating Yummy a few years ago when our friend who lived in Shanghai…read moreChina before who was visiting and wanted to find authentic Chinese food and dumplings. We loved this restaurant particularly the YuShsn Eggplant and MaPo tofu. We had noticed that the restaurant had changed names and the menu had removed these items a month or so ago and were disappointed. Tonight we were looking to get takeout and noticed the name and old menu had been restored. We were excited to have our favorites again but were quickly disappointed. First when I picked up the food I was told that they did not have a lot of MaPo tofu but that they gave me what they had and gave me a $5 bill back...weird. Then I got home and looked at the food and could tell right away that it was not right. The MaPo tofu had peas and carrots that were obviously from frozen and def not in traditional Chinese MaPo tofu. The eggplant was mostly bell pepper and odd pickled vegetables with very little actual eggplant. The crab cheese wantons were dry and flavorless. We were very upset after spending $50 on food that we could not stomach to finish after a few bites. I threw the food away. I decided to call and request a refund. The new owner was very hostile. I tried to be nice and just said the food was not what we expected and that we could not eat it as it did not taste right that we would like a refund. He raised his voice and was angry and kept insisting the recipes had not changed and asking when was the last time we ate there. He insisted that I drive the food back so he could look at it and maybe he would give a refund. I told him I threw the food away and would not spend another 30 minutes total in the car to drive back there. Even if I was in the wrong, the new owner was insulting and never made any attempt to listen to my concerns. I stated that MaPo tofu does not have peas and carrots. He responded stating "this is traditional Chinese, not Americanized." The man is gaslighting me because I knew this is not true as I have had this dish at other restaurants for years and it never included vegetables. I looked it up apparently ONLY Americanized versions of this dish have peas and carrots. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company for a chargeback. It is completely unacceptable to treat customers this way. Two thumbs down.
