First time trying Dilly's and I was pleasantly surprised. It's hard to find a decent sandwich shop, so far we haven't had much luck. Staff were very friendly and the place was busy during lunch time so usually that says plenty. The Reuben was tasty, definitely not the best that I've had but I would get it again. The cheese wasn't melted enough and I asked for an extra side of thousand island dressing, so they didn't put any on the sandwich. Just little things that weren't done right. I tried it on their focaccia bread. Loved the rosemary flavor and it was a lot thicker and softer than your usual focaccia. I prefer the more dense and crunchy kind but that's just a personal preference. Their restroom was clean but when you open the door to the back, it smells foul. Almost like a sewer smell, very off putting when you are about to eat. Overall not a bad experience.

Cool deli just near the ASUish. I wanted pastrami and the Humdinger was a nice pastrami sandwich with a regional kick (chipotle slaw). I ordered to-go and the sandwich held up because of the nice toast on the outsides. I'd go back to try some of the other sandwiches.

It wasn't busy at 3PM on a Sunday, so I'm not sure why we had trouble finding a clean table to sit at. There's plenty of seating inside and some tables outside. My wife and I weren't super hungry so we shared a bread bowl of Boston Clam Chowder and a Rueben Sandwich. The soup was good, it wasn't too salty and had a decent amount of clams. The sandwich was okay, it seemed to be missing something. Kids 12 and under eat free with purchase of an adult meal (weekends only).

Came here for the soup options. They offered about 6 different types of soups which was great. My husband and I shared the calm chowder and Ruben sandwich. The soup itself was good, the rest of the meal was nothing less but carbs. Little meat on the sandwich. Staff was okay. Tables were dirty. I don't think we'd come back.

Was looking for a soup and sandwich shop and heard a lot of positive things about Dilly's. We went in and the restaurant was cute, clean, but pretty empty, with just the two of us inside. They were quick to bring us our food, but brought my friend the wrong soup, which they were nice and quick to remedy. The cost for both of us to get half a sandwich, a bowl of soup, and a drink each was over 40$ with tip and tax. While the food was very good, the total was about the same as going to a sit down restaurant and getting a full meal. If you've got the money to spend it's a tasty spot for sure though, personally I'm not sure the price is justifiable.

Love this spot for a sandwich and soup experience! I went with the 1/2 Smokey Mountain sandwich and Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup bread bowl, my favorite combination here. That soup....its just so good! The Russian Mustard adds sweet and tangy to the smokey bacon on the sandwich and....damn...typing that made me want another one now. I may or may not go back in, I need to consult with my stomach storage manager. Lots of seating available inside, some outside, and the service is done with a smile, and the place is clean. On a scale of 1 to 10.....I've hit this place many times and I'll do it again many times.

    Super clean seating area!

So we've been coming here for years! So excited to learn about this location that is closer to our house! This place is legit, we were driving much further to go to a different location and it was still worth it!

Perspective from my mouth when the sammy is close to entering.

I rolled into Dilly's Deli With my two buddies, and my three new friends. We for sure got really silly in the dilly dilly. If you allow me to be honest, I will say I haven't had a sandwich as good as this one in a long time, longer than a lot of you who are reading this have been alive probably. I am not saying that out of disrespect for your age, more respect for dilly dilly. The sandwich I was eating was one of those sandwiches that you start chewing on it and you kinda hope you never have to swallow because you just want to keep chewing on it because it taste so good but in your eyes it will taste even better when you do swallow and then you get confused but the things that you aren't confused about is how yummy yummy this sandwich is from the deli deli. So we got to eat at our new friends house that was really nice because they had grass and so he took off arches and we stayed in the grass. Highly would recommend us after a sandwich from the deli deli. Also, our three new friends were great company. I'm not just saying that because they got us these amazing sandwiches, I'm saying it because I really enjoyed my time with them and was sad to say goodbye.

They don't know how to melt cheese in this joint?

Goldman's Deli Where Your Soul and Your Stomach Both Get Hugged…read more If comfort food had a headquarters, it might very well be Goldman's Deli. Walk through the door and suddenly you're not just hungry you're home. The smells alone could make a grown person misty-eyed. Now let's talk about the pastrami. Lean, tender, and stacked so generously you start wondering if the sandwich needs its own zip code. One bite and you understand why people keep coming back. Two bites and you're already planning your next visit. The soups? Forget therapy have a bowl. Rich, comforting, and restorative. The kind of soup that makes you feel like somewhere in the kitchen a grandmother is quietly nodding with approval. And then there's the gefilte fish. Not the ordinary, polite little slice. This one is special delicate, flavorful, and downright magnificent. Even people who say, "Eh... I'm not sure about gefilte fish," suddenly become believers. There's a little schmaltz, a lot of love, and the unmistakable magic of real Jewish deli cooking. Eat there, take some home, and tell your friends because food this good shouldn't be kept a secret. You might arrive hungry, but you'll leave smiling, a little fuller, and possibly needing a short nap which is the highest compliment a deli can receive. And as they say with a wink and a warm heart: "Zei gezunt, un es gezunterheit eat in good health!" Or in plain deli English: "May you always be healthy... and may your sandwich always be this good." So I trecked 5 miles out of my way to Goldman's (when Chompie's was just a mile away --frankly I don't know why I didn't think about chompies) I ordered the chopped chicken liver appetizer which comes with slices of tomato, a piece of lettuce, slice of red onion, and challah bread. I paid $15.01 for this platter (lol) without a tip for a small scoop of the liver. Just look at the photo. I was shocked to see how small it was. I thought that with a base price of $13.99 that the scoop would be bigger or at least the same size as in the past when it was $9.99. The challah bread was yellow but did not take like challah. Yellow bread slices do not delicious challah bread make--no yeasty flavor as any good challah would have. So here I am regretting that I didn't give chompie's a try. I can assure you that I will not be returning to Goldman's. I know ingredients have gone up but this price for such a small scoop is an affront to the wallet.

I know some of you are uneducated about the quality of a meatball sandwich & that's ok, I'm not judging so do not be offended. To begin... This is a neighborhood place just like back east , nestled in a neighborhood on the corner hidden from the strip mall garbage. When you come here, and you better, do not be distracted by the path to tasty food. It is in an older neighborhood with minimal parking but fantastic personalities, service & FOOD! Upon entry it's a time warp for us who grew up in a time that was better. This is a good Olde Fashion deli that sells great food with amazing service. Franks is a family place. Back to the real topic... Meatball Sandwich; when you ask what is the cheese that use & the owner is educated on quality be states "Provolone on the bottom, Mozzarella on top" just know you're in the right place! The flavor is top notch, added some cherry peppers to spice it up just right, bell peppers & onions are standard. Took it to go, drove about 20 minutes to where I needed to be, the aroma was teasing me, the concern of the sandwich being cold or soggy rang in my mind while driving the 17 to the 10.. I was nervous, anxious & salivating.... Opening the togo container to see the glorious sandwich! The meatballs are still hot, the sauce is holding place & the bread is still bread, not some soggy remnant of dough! Thank you for the pride, quality & tasty sandwich.

Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The deli offers an impressive variety of hot foods. The sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic, and there are plenty of pasta dishes and traditional Italian entrées available as well. We didn't order a hot meal on this visit, but we'll definitely be back to try one. The market section is also worth browsing. They carry a wide selection of pastas, sauces, olive oils, canned tomatoes, and other Italian staples. My only suggestion would be to expand the specialty pasta selection with options like squid ink, spinach, or roasted red pepper varieties. Of course, we couldn't leave without visiting the bakery case. We brought home an assortment of Italian cookies, a black and white cookie, a Napoleon, chocolate cannolis, and a brownie. The brownie was the one item that didn't impress us, but everything else was delicious and tasted fresh. One thing to be aware of is parking. The lot is quite small, and both we and several other customers ended up parking across the street. It's not necessarily something the business can control, but it's worth mentioning if you're visiting during a busy time. The fact that this shop has been around for decades says a lot about the quality and loyal customer base they've built over the years. Overall, we had a very good experience and are looking forward to returning to explore more of the deli offerings.
