    Sugarcane Juice | IG @moniquedao

I've made a point to stop by this little eatery for one thing and one thing only: fresh sugarcane juice. It's made from real sugarcane and nothing else, which I really appreciate. No unnecessary extras - just pure, refreshing goodness. On a hot day, it hits the spot every time. The juice is always fresh, naturally sweet, and incredibly refreshing. It's one of those simple treats that never gets old. The lady who makes the drinks is also very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Great service and a great drink - sometimes that's all you need.

For the prices, this place is not bad at all. Locate in the Asian Mall with plenty of dim sum, noodles, and other dishes choices. Their ladies there speak Chinese & English and they are very nice and friendly too. We got several special promotion set since they introduced us to it. Portion is good size and decent-good and the price tag is quite great. The wontons and the beef are tasty and well make. Others are just okey, the drinks are good...even through they forgot to give us til we reminded them 15mins later, they did apologized for it. We ordered and grab a seat then they brought the foods to us once all done. It's a food court type of place so it's a share community tables. Overall, not bad.

New drink/dessert very tasty highly recommend . Only $6. I prefer to eat the gelato separate and sip instead of mixing the two. Just my preference

Came here during this festival and parking was chaotic. This is located inside a Vietnamese mall. The food prices aren't too bad and the portions are nice. The had a sale where it's 7.99 wonton soup. So worth it. The Beth is light and the veggies were crunchy. The wontons had flavor. I give it a 4.1/5. The shu mai looked like they were on steroids, i got two batches and it was worth it. I can eat about 4 batches to myself, but 2 individual ones almost had me full. They were better than some dim sum places. 5/5. The rice noodle with shrimp was a disappointment. The noodle was just super sticky and bland. The shrimps were baby shrimps. The sauce was good. 2.7/5 The soup dumplings were good, they give about ten of them and they were all packed with soup. Definitely worth it. 4.5/5. The piggy buns had egg custard instead of red bean so it was nice. I wouldn't get it again but I give it a 3/5. The service and ambiance is super fast pace. Not bad service either.

Came here Saturday noon, since there was a festival going on. First time at Asian Mall, the parking is pretty chaotic. The food area is located in the 1st floor, and the staff did not seem pushy at all like the rest of the clothing vendors around the mall. Instead she was patient with us because it was our first time. You get what you pay for of course, cheap dim sum, for okay taste. Hong Kong style soup was on sale that was good, very light in broth and our dim sum was still warm. The line was not long at all, maybe we just got lucky. I read the line can be long. My kids ate their food, so can't complain. Not a fan of the piggy buns, tasted dry. The shrimp rice roll was clumpy and not much flavor at all. The Shu Mai were huge, and tasted favorable and the soup was good. The soup dumplings were okay, at least it had soup in it.

Best Asian drinks, desserts, and Cantonese food. So tasty. The owners could tell that I was Vietnamese and then I spoke to them in Vietnamese.

Orange County just keeps upping their dim sum game! We had delivery after finding a two for one special and it was delicious! Definitely recommend the meatball soup. I enjoyed it so much I didn't even share with my family!

If only I read the reviews before order this. the meat is dry, dimsum is cold, never ever again

    Piggy Bun

The "Little Pig" buns have an adorable appearance, and their filling is slightly sweet--exactly the flavor I enjoy. The BBQ buns feature a wonderfully soft and fluffy exterior, while the filling strikes a perfect balance between savory and sweet; they are the best *Char Siu* buns I have ever tasted. The meat in the *Siu Mai* is delightfully springy and chewy, with a flavor that is just right. will come back again.

The vendor was pushy, food was alright. The Vietnamese coffee was very enjoyable. Not a place I will go back to.

I grew up coming…read morehere for family weddings and weekend dim sum, and it's still one of my favorite places to satisfy that craving. The restaurant has definitely evolved over the years. It feels like a younger team is running things now, making the service more efficient, while you'll still recognize some of the longtime employees that have been here for years. It's nice to see the tradition continue without losing what made this place special. Parking can be hectic since it's in a busy plaza, so I highly recommend arriving before 9:30 AM on weekends. The restaurant fills up fast, and the energy is always lively. Seating can be a little close for comfort at times, and you may end up dining right next to another party, but that's all part of the classic dim sum experience. The dining room is spacious and can easily accommodate parties of any size--from a table for one to large family gatherings of 20+. One change I noticed is there are fewer dim sum carts roaming around now. Instead, you can order most items directly from your server, which honestly makes it easier to get exactly what you're craving. The beverage cart still comes around with fresh fruit drinks, coffee, tea, and yes... even beer at 9 in the morning if that's your thing! If you want both dim sum and their lunch menu, plan to arrive around 10:30 AM. Lunch isn't served until 11:00 when the kitchen shifts over, so you can enjoy both in one visit. Our table was filled with all the classics. Such as har gow, siu mai, rice porridge with Chinese donut, and plenty more (definitely ordered more than we could finish). Don't forget to order the almond drink with the puff pastry as soon as you sit down because it takes about 30 minutes to prepare and is absolutely worth the wait. We also tried their newer weekend special, the fried tofu skin with shrimp, which my husband really enjoyed. One last tip: don't forget to check in on Yelp to save on wait time! Great service, authentic dim sum, and flavors that have stayed consistent for years. Seafood Cove 2 never disappoints and will always be my go-to spot whenever I'm craving dim sum.

Service here the girl at the register was rude and ask with an attitude. I mean I can hear clear and loud, asking question in a loud tone of voices. I'm not deaf.. shouldn't be talking like that either way to anyone. But she didn't do just me she talk to everyone like that when they bring the check to her so she can ring up the total bill. Absolutely rude. Ambience it's big and it's upstairs they have stairs and escalator to go up to the restaurant.

You also can't ever go wrong with spicy wontons, pan fried buns, popcorn chickens, or braised green beans. Yum! Huge bonus: the restaurant is directly connected to Ben Gong's Tea. Green beans are flavorful and crispy as well! Hot and sour soup is HUGE. It was so good that I came back again a week later! Their $21.99 weekday AYCE lunch is a steal for the quality and variety of food you get! I first came on Friday, July 3rd for lunch, but was charged $31.99, their regular dinner price because they considered it a holiday. Bummer, considering it's not the actual July 4th holiday. You get the same options as you would at $21.99. Drinks are not included at this price. Here's what really draws me to this place. I love that they have two types of lamb to choose from - Aged and Spring Lamb. While I liked both, the Spring Lamb is my favorite. They also offer beef, pork, and chicken that you can order and buffet of raw items to cook and hot items to eat right away. The quality of their food is really good for their lunch price! The options are also great! They had Crown Daisy, my favorite hotpot veggie the first time I came. But the second time I came, it was swapped out to Watercress. While I also love Watercress, I preferred Crown Daisy. The soups are flavorful and has a nice herbal flavor to them, which I love! I've tried House Special Original Broth, House Spicy Broth, and Mushroom Broth. House Special Original Broth is a must, especially if you like that Chinese Herbal flavor profile. Service was friendly both times. They do check on you often, but when they get busy, it's less frequent. I love that this restaurant is huge and clean! The decorations are also very nice - definitely seems like a semi-upscale place. If you like good quality hot pot that doesn't break the bank, come check this place out for weekday lunch! Just don't come during holiday season.

This helped us get a table much faster than we would have than if we had just shown up and waited. We ordered the large family meal, and there were 12 of us. We also ordered the Newport Lobster, fish fillet with black bean sauce, and an extra shrimp fried rice. Overall, I think the food was good, and the prices are reasonable (except the lobster, which was pricey, as you might expect from anything listed as "market price"). Most of us in the group thought the fish fillet with black bean sauce was the best. I thought it was very good, but not necessarily fantastic. (There are other Chinese restaurants that do it a little better.) The sauce was very good, but the fish wasn't quite as tender as it can be. Definitely a solid 4 stars. Other dishes were good. I think the scallop soup could have been great for some people, but my wife and I both hate cilantro, and there was a ton of cilantro. The pork was also good, and my friends thought the clams were also really good. I found the fried rice a bit bland. And for both the lobster and the crab, they could have made them a little easier to eat by cracking the shells a bit more for us. I hate fighting with my food ... And there was a fair amount of fighting on these 2 dishes. The lobster cost almost much as all the other dishes combined. It certainly looked amazing. And the sauce was very good. But I found most of it a bit overcooked. Maybe it was our fault for asking for a big one. Maybe a smaller lobster might have been cooked a little less. The great sauce (along with the fighting with the shell) might have covered up the fact that the meat was actually a bit tough and rubbery. I don't think I'd order this again. The service was very friendly and pretty fast. And, again, other than the lobster, the pieces were pretty reasonable.

Our family joked around and would say let's go to the travel agency restaurant when we had a craving for Chinese/Vietnamese type of food. I recall the food back then was extra tasty and memorable, leaving me wanting to return again and again. However, my recent lunch outing with my girlfriends changed my mind. Our servers were attentive and friendly. I think it helped that my friend was a familiar customer. We came on a Monday afternoon around 11:30 and It was early enough where parking was still available. We ordered the classic dishes, including salt and pepper fried pork chopsand salt and pepper fried shrimp, but the taste this time around left a lot to be desired. These two dishes lacked the crunchiness and flavors that these fried entrees are supposed to showcase. We found the pork chops to be dry and tough, as if it was prepared a while ago and sitting out for some time before it made its way to our table. The shrimp was not impressive either. At least the shaking beef or bo luc lac was good. The beef chunks were tender, and the flavors were on point. Bonus points for the broth that is complimentary during lunch. Also the complimentary orange slices were a nice touch to end our meal. We'd still return for the lobster and noodle when the occasion comes up.
