    Dim sum to go
    Nikki P.

This is a decent dim sum spot if you're shopping in the Asian garden mall. Xiao long bao was tasty but missing some of the broth inside. Green beans were cooked nicely. Chow fun was good too. PROS: takes card in case you don't have cash, will warm up the food if you ask CONS: customer service is spotty. Saw a few customers upset because they forgot to bring the food to the table.

Yo Yelp, I went through the trouble to enter the business to help this nice owner n wasn't allowed to check in, I'm not that far fr there

I'm always crazy for Dim Sum but ever since Furiwa went under, I was left stranded, seafood cove across the street is always mobbed the wait was 1 hr just not worth it, they are also 100% crazy, it was cold like in the North pole, they told me the had open vent on the roof to chase Covid19 away!! So finding this hole in the wall was really welcome. The owner/chef was really nice n friendly so I probably bought more than I should. Everything was just $2 vs $5 to $7 elsewhere. There a certain spice very flavorful that I cannot identify it's in the dim sum here, the best dim sum was the one w the flaky taro outside, I was going to give them 5 stars when the last bite of one of the Dimsum was a little smelly, I was there before closing n stuffs that didn't move sitting there all day could turn so I took 1 star away, the next time I'll go there by noon when everything is fresh n they will get 5 stars. So you know, Din Tai Fung is overrated, the wonton skin is thick, the dim sum lacks the special flavor mentioned above, most Americans love it there but they haven't been to Hong Kong,,had they been to HK, they would love it at 261 Dim sum, support them or they'll be out of business! Try it you like it! By the way they came here from Hong Kong!

THIS FOOD FELT LIKE HOME. I give this place 5 stars based on what it is - a take-out stall at a mall offering a curated selection of dim sum's heavy hitters and popular Cantonese comfort dishes. Don't come here expecting to see an extensive list but know that you can get the basics. It was Mother's Day and I could not find, for the life of me, a dim sum restaurant that when they actually picked up the phone, had both Ha-Gow (Crystal shrimp dumplings) & Shrimp Cheung Fun (rice noodle rolls with soy sauce). So strange. So I yelped and saw this place. No phone number yet (it's still quite new) and with 1 review. So I said, what the heck, let me just drive over and see...it was my last resort. Come to find this spot. Clean, super friendly staff...with both Dishes that I wanted. Of course I ended up buying more! My husband is vegan and they had sautéed rice rolls in soy sauce and scallions and also the Pan-Fried Turnip cakes with No dried shrimp and Chinese sausage, so it was perfectly vegan appropriate! Check them out! Will definitely be my new go to easy spot to grab and go! Oh! Forgot to add, all the shrimp in my dishes were DEVEINED!!! Imagine that. It takes a lot more work so most restaurants don't do it unless you go to high end places, even then I'm not sure they all do.

We started with the shishito peppers and takoyaki, and the takoyaki was easily some of the best we've had. It came out piping hot, perfectly crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy inside. Since it was such a hot day, we ordered the Hiyashi Chuka (chilled ramen) and the Oroshi Soba Combo with grated radish and tempura. Both were super refreshing and exactly what we were craving. The Hiyashi Chuka had a great balance of flavors with fresh toppings, and the soba was light, chewy, and paired really well with the crispy tempura. The hot tea was a nice touch, and everyone working there was friendly and welcoming. We also loved how extensive the menu is. There are so many Japanese comfort food options that we'll definitely be back to try more. If you're looking for authentic Japanese food in the area, Gomen is absolutely worth a visit.

It has so many toppings in it that you can get a noodle refill and be completely fine with the amount of stuff left in your bowl to coat the rest of your noodles. The noodles are perfectly cooked and chewy combined with the savory sauce and the meat and diced veggies in the jajang makes a perfect meal. They usually have some pokemon or old anime on the tv playing. The staff is also super attentive and overall a nice chill spot. Theres booth spots, regular tables, and bar seating as well but they can get busy. We've waited 10-20 mins before at a dinner rush so I would recommend avoiding the usual peak hours.

Restaurant quality just hasn't been the same, but that is not the case here. Over the years their team has continued to offer delicious food and a nice casual dining experience. The store is small and cozy, so not great for parties larger than 4, though I'd really just suggest 2. Great for lunch or a low key dinner, it is one of my go-to for ramen spots. I really love their white miso tsukemen, the thick noodles are slightly chilled and served with a wedge of lime which is a nice way to lighten the very rich broth. I've had their red miso before but its deeper flavor is a bit too powerful for my taste, so for those who like something with more umph, that's a great choice as well.

I came on a Friday before 5pm and it was great, no wait and decent amount of parking. Like a few have mentioned, parking is definitely limited and very tight. I got the chashu white miso and it was full to the brim. Generous portion of ramen and there were about 4 chashu slices for the regular size. According to our waiter, the large is basically more noodles and an extra piece of meat. Unfortunately, you cannot sub noodles and have to order as is. The broth is a bit too heavy and fatty for my liking. Would I come back? Ehh maybe, there's just so many ramen places so I rather find a place with lighter broth that isn't too fatty or

You get a regular-sized bowl of ramen, plus your choice of either a beef rice bowl or chashu rice bowl, and a side salad. For just an additional $6 on top of the ramen you were already going to order, you get the rice bowl and salad -- which honestly makes the whole meal feel complete. We always order the Butaton ramen, and it never steers us wrong. It's consistently satisfying and comforting. Between the two rice bowl options, I definitely prefer the chashu over the beef. The chashu just has more flavor and pairs better with the ramen in my opinion. If you're deciding between the two, I'd go chashu every time. I also love how the meal flows: - The side salad adds that fresh start to the meal. -The rice bowl gives you something hearty and savory. * And then you finish strong with the ramen. We came around 1 PM on a Wednesday and were actually the only customers there. Honestly? It felt like VIP service. Our server was super friendly, accommodating, and very attentive. One thing I personally use to gauge service: if my water glass hits about 30% full, I expect it to be refilled before it's empty. And even though we were the only ones there, he was consistently on top of it. That kind of attention to detail really stands out to me. We also ordered green tea to round out the meal, and everything just felt easy and enjoyable. Overall, I keep coming back for a reason. Great value, comforting food, and attentive service. If you're going for the lunch combo, definitely choose the chashu rice bowl over the beef.
