Ok I need to take a moment for this delicious meal, this is One of the best dim sum restaurant from the west side LA, it is fresh made, you can taste the skin is very thin(because it is hand made, non like the one from frozen whole seller) the vegetables stir fry are fresh made, it is yummy crunchy and delicious. My favorite is the Chang fen, the shrimp is huge and generous putted and fold it. I'll definitely call there food made with love, the chef is so sweet gave us 3 fresh made egg tarts. I am definitely going back anytime soon! Thank you for making such a good quality food, I appreciate it! If you like dim sum Everyone, run, don't walk!

When you don't have the time or energy to make it Monterey Park, head over to Dim Sum House. The portions are large and filling, and the flavor is impeccable. The cucumber salad was divine and can give Din Tai Fung a run for its money. All the dishes were seasoned so well and they even accommodated my very picky son with plain steamed tofu (an off menu item). There is a slight language barrier, but the language of food is universal! They were so kind and attentive, we loved it here and already planning to come back with more family and friends so we can try more of the menu. It's located in a strip mall, so plenty of parking. It's very casual atmosphere and they can accommodate large groups.

Pretty fire. Came here in the evening on the weekday and it was not too busy. I ordered 3 orders: the BBQ steamed pork baos, shrimp rice rolls, and hargow and they were all very delicious. I think 3 orders is definitely enough to share between 2 people. The price was also not too bad. It was around $28 including tip and tax I believe. I feel like nowadays it's difficult to find a dim sum place with quality food and service that's decently priced. I think my favorite out of the three would be the hargow. Not the biggest fan of shrimp (which i know is a little contradictory to my order) but the shrimp filling was so so good. The shrimp was nicely flavored and tender. Our server was actually the sweetest. He gave us egg tarts on the house which was so slay!

Very solid and authentic Cantonese restaurant that specializes in dim sum. Tried a variety of dishes including shumai, hagow, sticky chicken rice, chicken feet, and chasiu bun. All passed with flying colors. Only catch is all the dishes were priced around $7.99-$8.99, which is on the high side compared with Chinatown or San Gabriel valley prices. But this is West LA so I guess it's par for the course. While only one waiter covered the restaurant, service was quick and efficient. Ambiance is plain and neat. Will be back if I am in the area and craving Dimsum.

Food here is pretty good & authentic. There's a parking lot too. Service is very fast. Inside is just a cute Chinese style tables of 4-12 people. Very clean! A little highly priced.

Wanted to give this place another try but sadly had another bad experience. The shrimp wasn't cleaned in the rice noodles roll. Siumai lacked flavor. Beef roll was very greasy. They didn't even include the sauce for the shrimp noodle rolls and the beef rolls. But the worst part was halfway into the shrimp roll, my husband found a long piece of metal! Never again

Decent Dim Sum spot in West LA. I visited this restaurant with a friend for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant wasn't too busy. The interior seemed old, but not too dirty. The condiment bottles and containers needed some cleaning though. There was just one server handling all the customers at the time I went. For food, my friend and I split the following: -Chicken Feet: I'm usually not a fan of these, but the flavor of them were pretty good and savory. -Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls: These were solid, no complaints. The shrimp was plump. I've had better though. -Sesame Balls: Crispy, chewy interior, and yummy. A bit of an oily taste though. -Fried Dough Sticks: Crispy and chewy, but also a bit of an oily taste. These paired well with the congee. -Preserved Egg and Pork Rice Porridge: Hearty and yarm. Wish it had more flavor though. -Pork and Shrimp Shumai: These were meaty and good. I've had better though. -Steamed Pork Rib: Was surprised with these. The flavor was good and the meat was tender. Also, we had an awkward experience here. The server let in a beggar who made an announcement to the entire restaurant begging for money. While it was somewhat admirable for him to do that, it was not appropriate for the setting especially since there were kids present. I felt pressured to donate and also felt unsafe. Overall, the food was decent, but there are better options for Dim Sum in the 626 area. This is pretty solid for West LA, but on the pricier side so I don't know if I would come back again to pay for this. I would eat it if it was given to me though.

Very solid dim sum! I am always looking for good Asian food on the west side and dim sum house always has me coming back for more. Very solid, Asian owned and operated 10/10 recommend

I can't believe I'm writing a review for dim sum on the Westside because for years I basically gave up trying to find it. Usually if you want good dim sum, you're driving farther east. I didn't even know this place existed until a couple of weeks ago. so I told my BFF we had to go. We both love Cantonese food and figured we'd just order a bunch of dishes and see what happened. The funny thing is I knew after the first bite. If you grew up eating Cantonese food, you know that moment. Everything just tasted right. I even ended up speaking a little Cantonese with the waiter, which was so much fun and something I rarely get to do anymore. We definitely over-ordered. Har gow, siu mai, chicken feet, chow fun, rice noodle rolls, spare ribs, cucumber salad, BBQ pork buns, sesame balls, egg tarts, Peking duck... I'm probably forgetting something. The Peking duck was excellent, the chow fun disappeared fast, and we left with enough leftovers for several meals. Honestly, finding authentic dim sum this close to home feels like winning the lottery. We'll definitely be back.

This spot has been a local Westside dim sum go to for awhile. The staff is no nonsense. The dim sum rivals the SGV spots in the simply decorated restaurant. The beef roll and hom soy gok are my go-to dishes. I also enjoyed the mushroom dumplings.

Service was worse than could be expected. We were a table for 2 at 9:30AM on a Saturday. We didn't expect to be sat immediately, but we definitely did not expect for three walk-ins *after* us to be sat before we were. Parties of 3, 5, and 8 were all sat before us. I understand as a host, you must maximize space and seat according to size but seriously? They simply didn't want to waste a *whole table* on 2. After 25 minutes they sat us at a 6-person table in the back corner and she said, "You share this table," implying we would be a group table if another small party walked in. Then, no menu, no water, no napkins, no plates until we asked for each individually. Lo and behold, there were still at least 5 open tables an hour later, and we did not in fact need to have other parties join us... the food was definitely not worth this treatment.

For being located in the heart of Chinatown, would you expect anything less? The thing that I like most about this place is that I can get almost anything that I would order at any of the nearby fancier sit-down Chinese restaurants, but this place is built especially for quick / take- out = no tip needed. FOOD: Fried Shrimp Balls - 9.0 / 10 Up there with any Chinese restaurant's dim sum. Understandably smaller over the years. Pro-tip: heat these bad boys in the oven, toaster oven, or air fryer. Serve alongside sweet & sour sauce. Pork Shumai - 9.0 / 10 Again, up there with any of your typical sit-down dim sum place. Pro-tip: make an easy + quick sipping sauce with 1/3 soy sauce + 2/3 spiced white vinegar. You're welcome Shrimp Har gow - 8.9 / 10 One of the most traditional Cantonese dumplings. Incredibly light. If you plan to eat these later, I highly suggest steaming them as the outer skin can get dry. There's so, so much food here, but whenever I am in the area, these are my non negotiables. Seriously, it is such a life-hack to be able to do a "Panda Express" style order for more traditional Chinese / Chinese-American favorites without all the hoopla. Don't be surprised if there's a line, depending on what time of the day you go.

The freshness of the cucumber and herbs cutting through the rich sauce balanced it out. The pan fried pork buns however were rather forgettable.
