We did this as a pickup order while trying to hit two Chinatown spots at the same time. Well... "same time" meaning drive home and then eat both. So I always try not to hold that against a place because food is obviously best when you eat it there fresh. That said, the pan fried noodles were easily my favorite thing we ordered. Those held up the best and still had good texture by the time we got home. The chicken was good flavor-wise, but there was definitely more bone than chicken, especially on the legs. One cool thing though: when my partner went in to grab the order, they watched them carving the chicken fresh before packing it up. You definitely don't get that kind of thing ordering through Uber Eats. The soy sauce chicken (not pictured) was also solid, and honestly this is a great spot if you want food that'll stretch into leftovers for days. We probably got at least four more meals out of everything. Still... it didn't fully scratch that Chinese restaurant itch for me the way SGV spots do. But for the area? Still a pretty good option.

Got their frozen chicken bun. It was easier to reheat and steam. Service is okay because it gets busy during lunch and long lines to get to go foods. Place is okay. Parking is limited too.

For its price, speed, and quality, this place deserves 5 stars! The rice was great, the eggplant was authentic and flavorful, and the sauces... man the sauces just highlight each dish, especially the pork. It might be salty and heavy, but you definitely should come here for a great meal and deal!

I typically don't write reviews and their food wasn't bad. It was experience the people in front of me and behind me both got way more than their food servings than I did.. and not to be biased, but both were of Asian descent, one got a two item and couldn't even close the box and the person behind me got a one item, but they made sure that they stuffed it to the brim in comparison to my plate, and the person in front of me also got pork chops when I saw how many pork chops they gave them for their two menu item, but then when they came down to me only got two. Unfortunately, my first and last time I can get more food at elsewhere. Everyone else had noodles peeping through the box when they tried to close their boxes

Got the beef cheung fen since it was BOGO on uber eats. What you would expect taste wise from a fast food chinese place. Crazy amounts of portions though, they filled that togo box to the brim. And they gave me two of those boxes, I had like 4 meals from it. If I ever just need carbs and calories, this would be a great spot for really cheap. Can't say much on service or ambiance since I used uber eats but it came still hot when I got it.

June 27, 2026 - I threw a 70th. Birthday party last night at ABC Seafood. Worked closely with our hostess Sophie on the 9course menu for 30 friends and family. We had Peking Duck, Ginger Crab, and steamed Rock Cod, and other delicious entrees. We even included 5 non-meat items to accommodate our vegetarian friends. Food was delicious, served hot, and everyone raved about the food and service. The only challenge is parking. So use the pay-to-park lot right next to their parking lot. Thank you Sophie and staff for a memorable evening!

ABC Seafood has been a staple family restaurant for a long time. I really like the authentic Chinese food here--especially the house pan fried noodles! The service is pretty good considering how busy it can get here but it's easy to flag someone down to get what you need. The food can take a bit long since everything is fresh but it's worth the wait. The ambiance is a typical Chinese restaurant feel with plenty of tables and nice decorations. This is a nice place to take families or have a group dinner. They have pretty good lunch specials as well. There's plenty of street parking

    Rhina M.

The food was good except for the chicken feet. It's usually very tender but this one was not tender enough. Everything else was very good. The service was ok but could be better. To be fair, they were pretty packed. The ambiance was pretty clean considering it is DTLA. Parking is $7 flat rate unless you get lucky to find a street parking. Will be back again for more delicious authentic Chinese food when we're in town.

So many restaurants to choose from when in Chinatown and this one didn't disappoint. They do not have the best service, the inside is far from fancy but the standout is the food. Everything we ordered was served hot and was over the top tasty. My favorite was the seafood crispy noodle chow mein, very generous with their seafood and just enough crisp with the sauce. Thinking about it makes me want more. They have dim sum also but order from the menu style and not the carts. They also have a fast food type area with an entrance on the side of the restaurant with duck, soy sauce chicken, pork belly all sold by the pound, dim sum options and then entree combos. They have a small parking lot but there's also street parking and a paid parking lot nearby.

Ordered 3 dozen shumais day before over the phone. Came 15 minutes early and so they weren't ready yet. Added in another dozen and waited 15 minutes. 4 dozen cost me $55 and some change. When we got to the potluck party in Hollywood hills, they were gone in a minute. They were the hit of the party especially that most people just brought stuff from Trader Joe's. Even my Taiwanese friend said that it was a great shumai.

The best pecking duck ever. Cut well crispy skin. Juciey meat cilantro and thin green onions. So yummy. Only bones left. Service was good at lunch time and nice casual family ambiance. Will definitely come again

Supporting LA Chinatown. No carts, but great domain at a reasonable price. Parking in rear.

Want some traditional old school feel good Chinese Cantonese food? Then this is the place! There's street parking, a paid parking lot, and the restaurant itself has a small free parking lot for their customers. Inside you'll find the typical Chinatown restaurant space. Service is what you'd expect - pleasant and straightforward. If you're not familiar with Chinese dishes, just ask and they'll make recommendations. The food is good ole Cantonese cooking. Never had a bad dish here. They have several favorite dishes for me, so it's best to bring a group of people and have family style and share in the variety. This place brings back a lot of memories for me of the old LA Chinatown in the 1980's. Despite how much the area had changed over then years, I'm glad this place is here and keeping it old school. They also have a take out/foos to go area, if you want food in the run.

3 item combo - you can split the rice and noodles $9.50

The food is fresh and always enjoyable with good table services. Easy to opt out meat and add in your favorite veggies for vegetarians.

I've never seen them. Dim sum is ordered from the menu.

No, they do not take American Express

What time are their dim sum hours?

Service was worse than could be expected. We were a table for 2 at 9:30AM on a Saturday. We didn't expect to be sat immediately, but we definitely did not expect for three walk-ins *after* us to be sat before we were. Parties of 3, 5, and 8 were all sat before us. I understand as a host, you must maximize space and seat according to size but seriously? They simply didn't want to waste a *whole table* on 2. After 25 minutes they sat us at a 6-person table in the back corner and she said, "You share this table," implying we would be a group table if another small party walked in. Then, no menu, no water, no napkins, no plates until we asked for each individually. Lo and behold, there were still at least 5 open tables an hour later, and we did not in fact need to have other parties join us... the food was definitely not worth this treatment.

Our party came here on Sunday at 8 AM and had no issue finding available metered parking spots. Metered parking is free on Sundays. [Atmosphere]: Nothing to write home about. And, I've always been a fan. It used to be a great late night spot to go. A lot of people would come in here after midnight, to enjoy a meal and a conversation with friends. Times change as times always do. This restaurant is only open till 1:00 AM now on Saturday and Sunday. And, I understand, that's just the way it is. The main thing I wanted to discuss in this review, is how disappointing this restaurant has become. I come here frequently and I have just watched a downward trend. I think a lot of this has to do with DoorDash. I believe the staff in the kitchen is so busy creating meals for the DoorDash crew that the patrons of the restaurant are really left sitting for a very long time waiting for their food. Or, even waiting for the serving staff to take an order. Today, for example, it took them. I'm almost twenty minutes before they came to take our order. That's just really not acceptable. Then, it took them another twenty minutes before they brought our first plate out. This, while the DoorDash orders stacked up on a central table in the restaurant. At one point, I counted ten waiting for pick up. The second problem I currently have with this restaurant is with the orange flavored chicken I ordered today, which I've had here a million times. Today, the chicken was so tough, it was barely eatable. I was super disappointed! Like I say, I've been coming here forever, and this was absolutely the worst meal I have ever had at this restaurant. Again, times are changing, and I understand that. But sometimes, times are not changing for the better. This restaurant and it's management should really take a long hard look at the way they're dispersing the energy of not only their cooks, but they're serving staff as well, because for a long time, customer like myself, they're turning a lot of people away.
