    beef cheung fen
    Edward C.

Got the beef cheung fen since it was BOGO on uber eats. What you would expect taste wise from a fast food chinese place. Crazy amounts of portions though, they filled that togo box to the brim. And they gave me two of those boxes, I had like 4 meals from it. If I ever just need carbs and calories, this would be a great spot for really cheap. Can't say much on service or ambiance since I used uber eats but it came still hot when I got it.

Got a Peking pork with Peking sauce and walnut shrimp and they come with rice. Both equally delicious and very filling. Parking is next to the restaurant on New High. Street parking is metered but look out for signs regarding street cleaning. Service is alright. Place is alright.

    Yummy food!

ABC Seafood has been a staple family restaurant for a long time. I really like the authentic Chinese food here--especially the house pan fried noodles! The service is pretty good considering how busy it can get here but it's easy to flag someone down to get what you need. The food can take a bit long since everything is fresh but it's worth the wait. The ambiance is a typical Chinese restaurant feel with plenty of tables and nice decorations. This is a nice place to take families or have a group dinner. They have pretty good lunch specials as well. There's plenty of street parking

The food was good except for the chicken feet. It's usually very tender but this one was not tender enough. Everything else was very good. The service was ok but could be better. To be fair, they were pretty packed. The ambiance was pretty clean considering it is DTLA. Parking is $7 flat rate unless you get lucky to find a street parking. Will be back again for more delicious authentic Chinese food when we're in town.

So many restaurants to choose from when in Chinatown and this one didn't disappoint. They do not have the best service, the inside is far from fancy but the standout is the food. Everything we ordered was served hot and was over the top tasty. My favorite was the seafood crispy noodle chow mein, very generous with their seafood and just enough crisp with the sauce. Thinking about it makes me want more. They have dim sum also but order from the menu style and not the carts. They also have a fast food type area with an entrance on the side of the restaurant with duck, soy sauce chicken, pork belly all sold by the pound, dim sum options and then entree combos. They have a small parking lot but there's also street parking and a paid parking lot nearby.

Ordered 3 dozen shumais day before over the phone. Came 15 minutes early and so they weren't ready yet. Added in another dozen and waited 15 minutes. 4 dozen cost me $55 and some change. When we got to the potluck party in Hollywood hills, they were gone in a minute. They were the hit of the party especially that most people just brought stuff from Trader Joe's. Even my Taiwanese friend said that it was a great shumai.

The best pecking duck ever. Cut well crispy skin. Juciey meat cilantro and thin green onions. So yummy. Only bones left. Service was good at lunch time and nice casual family ambiance. Will definitely come again

Supporting LA Chinatown. No carts, but great domain at a reasonable price. Parking in rear.

Want some traditional old school feel good Chinese Cantonese food? Then this is the place! There's street parking, a paid parking lot, and the restaurant itself has a small free parking lot for their customers. Inside you'll find the typical Chinatown restaurant space. Service is what you'd expect - pleasant and straightforward. If you're not familiar with Chinese dishes, just ask and they'll make recommendations. The food is good ole Cantonese cooking. Never had a bad dish here. They have several favorite dishes for me, so it's best to bring a group of people and have family style and share in the variety. This place brings back a lot of memories for me of the old LA Chinatown in the 1980's. Despite how much the area had changed over then years, I'm glad this place is here and keeping it old school. They also have a take out/foos to go area, if you want food in the run.

3 item combo - you can split the rice and noodles $9.50
    Kai C.

Price as of Jan 27 2025, $9.50 3 item combo with choice of rice/noodles. you can split rice and noodle as well. With tax is around $10.40 which is great for a fast lunch option no frills Their food is always fresh because of how many customers come and go, wait is never long, very fast moving service. Parking is easy to find in the area. I believe the minimum for credit card without fee is $15.00 otherwise there is a small fee to use credit card. They also have fresh dim sum, limited pastries and a full char siu bbq selection area with ducks porks chicken etc. I've been coming since 2018 and it has always been consistent fast fresh easy choice for food. There is no seating inside in the fast food part at least, i believe it is connected to the larger sit down restaurant.

Well the food is ok, not the best in China town but not the worse either. Came here because our landlord and his wife invited us but i will always go and recommend fullhouse seafood restaurant. This place service was not the greatest? They never came back to see what we wanted or to refill our glasses. And after we finished eating it took us 10 minutes to get there attention to bring us the bill.

Then of course hot and sour soup and Singapore noodles! This place delivers yet again literally and figuratively in every sense because the food came hot, fresh, delicious and I swear this filet mignon with veggies is delectable! The sauce it's in is delicious and the beef is so tender. The veggies also have just enough snap. The orange chicken is delightful as well just enough crisp (should reheat really well for one household folk like me who usually have leftovers) the sauce has just enough tang and orange element. The broccoli with oyster sauce is also delish, it was cooked to perfection with just enough snap but not too much on the stalks. It's not tough or difficult to enjoy or joins the chewing for ages club. Once again, this place is a total hit!! That was my first mistake -- they don't even serve mu shu pork. That one's on me for not checking the menu first. I ended up getting my kung pao chicken and settled for the Mongolian beef, and veggie egg rolls. The Mongolian beef I could definitely pass on. The kung pao chicken was good at first, but somehow lost its flavor as the meal went on. The egg rolls were just okay. Nice and crispy on the outside, but too mushy on the inside for my liking. I was also pretty surprised (and a lot sad) that they didn't have hot mustard. The tea was really good though! Service was fine. The server was attentive, just clearly busy keeping up with all the takeout orders coming through. Ambience is definitely on the lower side here, so don't come expecting a nicer Chinese restaurant. It leans more Santa Ana burger joint vibes. That said, everything felt clean and they were pumping out a ton of takeout orders while we were there, so clearly they're doing something right. Overall, it just didn't hit for me, and I don't see myself coming back.

They have pictures of celebrities and politicians who've visited their restaurant. Service was relatively quick, but there was a 20-minute wait for the dumplings. Valet parking can get difficult when the lot gets full. A few cars entering the narrow driveway had to reverse out of the way to let others leave. The kung pao chicken was very tasty with a good amount of spice. I noticed that the slippery shrimp didn't taste as spicy as the portion from Pasadena. Reviews say that the spice is adjustable.
