Parking can be challenging, but their is a spacious parking lot nearby. Outside may not appeal to you, but inside can accomodate to large parties. There were 11 of us and we filled up our table with different delicious dishes. All the food we ordered taste authentic and fresh. Quite literally one of L.A.'s (especially Chinatown's) best kept secrets. Looking at the menu, this place pretty much has it all - when it comes to your typical Chinese / Chinese-American food fare. For being located in the heart of Chinatown, would you expect anything less? The thing that I like most about this place is that I can get almost anything that I would order at any of the nearby fancier sit-down Chinese restaurants, but this place is built especially for quick / take- out = no tip needed. FOOD: Fried Shrimp Balls - 9.0 / 10 Up there with any Chinese restaurant's dim sum. Understandably smaller over the years. Pro-tip: heat these bad boys in the oven, toaster oven, or air fryer. Serve alongside sweet & sour sauce. Pork Shumai - 9.0 / 10 Again, up there with any of your typical sit-down dim sum place. Pro-tip: make an easy + quick sipping sauce with 1/3 soy sauce + 2/3 spiced white vinegar. You're welcome Shrimp Har gow - 8.9 / 10 One of the most traditional Cantonese dumplings. Incredibly light. If you plan to eat these later, I highly suggest steaming them as the outer skin can get dry. There's so, so much food here, but whenever I am in the area, these are my non negotiables. We did this as a pickup order while trying to hit two Chinatown spots at the same time. Well... "same time" meaning drive home and then eat both. So I always try not to hold that against a place because food is obviously best when you eat it there fresh. That said, the pan fried noodles were easily my favorite thing we ordered. Those held up the best and still had good texture by the time we got home. The chicken was good flavor-wise, but there was definitely more bone than chicken, especially on the legs. One cool thing though: when my partner went in to grab the order, they watched them carving the chicken fresh before packing it up. You definitely don't get that kind of thing ordering through Uber Eats. The soy sauce chicken (not pictured) was also solid, and honestly this is a great spot if you want food that'll stretch into leftovers for days. We probably got at least four more meals out of everything. Still... it didn't fully scratch that Chinese restaurant itch for me the way SGV spots do. But for the area? Got the beef cheung fen since it was BOGO on uber eats. What you would expect taste wise from a fast food chinese place. Crazy amounts of portions though, they filled that togo box to the brim. And they gave me two of those boxes, I had like 4 meals from it. If I ever just need carbs and calories, this would be a great spot for really cheap. We had Peking Duck, Ginger Crab, and steamed Rock Cod, and other delicious entrees. We even included 5 non-meat items to accommodate our vegetarian friends. For a large lunch gathering, we ordered many dishes and split the cost equally. We had the following: squid with spicy salt, spicy eggplant with minced pork, bean curd with oyster sauce, kung pao chicken, sautéed cod filet with vegetables, pork chop with spicy salt, dry stir-fried string beans, Singapore rice noodles, glazed honey walnuts with prawns, French-style steak fillet, and white sugar sponge cake. There was also complimentary rice and jasmine tea. My favorite dishes were the bean curd with oyster sauce and Singapore rice noodles. The bean curd was nicely hot, but I wish the cubes were larger. I also liked how the rice noodles had a hint of peppery spice. The other dishes were solid, but I didn't try a few. For example, my table finished the pork chop with spicy salt the quickest. Portion sizes were adequate for me, but I wish there was slightly more given that our table included many people. In addition to our group, an even larger party of people dined in such that they filled up more than half of the restaurant. It can definitely be a popular gathering place for lunch at times. Everything we ordered was served hot and was over the top tasty. My favorite was the seafood crispy noodle chow mein, very generous with their seafood and just enough crisp with the sauce. Thinking about it makes me want more. They have dim sum also but order from the menu style and not the carts. Ordered 3 dozen shumais day before over the phone. Came 15 minutes early and so they weren't ready yet. Added in another dozen and waited 15 minutes. 4 dozen cost me $55 and some change. When we got to the potluck party in Hollywood hills, they were gone in a minute. They were the hit of the party especially that most people just brought stuff from Trader Joe's. This is a review for the dining room. Son and I went here with his friends and their parents and it was our first time. I had been to Ocean Seafood where they have carts, but this worked as well. We were a large party, but service was not slow, it was good. Ambiance simple, nothing fancy, but the best thing is the Lazy Susan style round table. It was really fun. All the dishes we had were good, but my favorites were the Singaporean noodles, chow fun, broccoli and beef, garlic green beans, and the taro pancakes. I look forward to going again. read more

If you are in the LA Chinatown area, you need to come to this restaurant. We found this restaurant by accident. Actually we were in their "take out" restaurant next door that sold take out food and dim sum. However we wanted a place to be able to sit down to eat our food. So we ventured next door and food the sit down restaurant with the full Chinese menu. Because we were there during lunch, we were able to take advantage of their lunch menu. The prices were fantastic and the portion of food was generous. The restaurant was busy during the time we were there. Three waitress was serving the entire restaurant and they were fast and efficient. The food was delicious and I put away more rice than I normally would. The only complain we have is the food served took a little longer, but than there was 3 tables of patrons that was probably doing there Christmas party there. Oh and we found out later there is a small parking lot that patrons can park while dining at the restaurant. read more

it's hard looking for parking, a lot of the employees are often arguing in Mandarin and just yelling at each other. This place is definitely going through a Toxic work environment between employees.
