Authentic Thai spot that's off the beaten path. Came here with my fiancé on a Friday evening and we were to get seated after 5 minutes. Street parking available. Credit cards accepted. We had the chicken pho and the chicken khao soi. The pho was a good option for a lighter meal, but the khao soi was the star of the show for me. Seems like a small team of people working, every dish came out one by one through the restaurant. Everything we ordered was mediocre at best, there are much better thai options in LA. Chicken satay was overcooked, no flavor. Peanut sauce and cucumber salad also both were not good. Pad thai was the 'best' dish we ordered and the shrimp was good but there were hard pieces of tofu and the thin noodles seemed a bit overcooked. Maybe it would have been good on its own.. Panang curry was awful. Chicken was decent but the sauce was way too watery and had no flavor. It looks like they used a bunch of kids veggies and tossed them in too. Egg rolls were chewy and not crispy crust like other places do. Not a ton of flavor inside either. I've tried pad see ew all over LA county from SGV to LBC and this is the saddest portion I've ever received. Ordered takeout from here a couple days ago. I got the pad thai lunch combo. Comes with a scoop of rice and one egg roll. Really delicious flavors, food came out in 15 minutes, relatively fast. The person taking my order was straight to the point and professional which was also much appreciated. I didn't finish my lunch so I had it the next day, cold, and it still tasted good. That's saying a lot in terms of the flavors. I do wish I asked for an extra lime to balance the salt, so if you order the pad thai consider asking for extra lime!
