Highly recommend getting their homemade chili oil as well. Come early in the morning for a better selection of items. You can also buy frozen dim sum to steam at home. But there are a couple of seats inside as well. We chose to take out. Service was quick and efficient since you order with the staff and they pack up your food. We got Shrimp Dumpling, Pork Shui Mai, Chicken Shui Mai, Steamed Chives Dumpling, Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll, and Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf. I liked the portion sizes; they weren't too small. There was a lot of meat in each dumpling, and the wrapper wasn't stiff. I'd say my favorites were the har gow and shrimp rice noodle roll. Still my fav place to get take out dim sum. I was lucky to be in the neighborhood on a Tuesday at 1130am so I def had choices!! I got the shrimp rice noodle and it was 11/10!!! Went here because Good Luck Dim Sum is closed on Mondays. Ordered quite a bit of food in the morning and it was great! I was only sad because they didn't have the shrimp rice noodles when I came at around 9:30 in the morning. Otherwise, I really liked it. It's really warm inside FYI if you eat inside. They also sell chili oil (like ones you see at the table in the Chinese restaurants). Lastly just one tip is that there is a credit limit of $25 dollar purchase. Dimdoduc is a really convenient place to grab some dimsum in the Outer Richmond. My personal favorite is the chicken shumai, shrimp dumplings, and egg tarts. I'm personally not a fan of the baos they just aren't pillowy enough for me. The price is hard to beat (eventho they recently raised them slightly). Be aware there is a $1 charge if you don't use cash to buy more than $25 worth of food. So I always use cash unless I'm buying for a larger group. Also love their chili oil. To go only and ready food selection is limited to pretty much what they offer as frozen take home. Since it was a small takeout, we took it to a nearby bench and I ate it immediately. So yummy. So this place took over Jook time They have a limited 10 staples dim sum on the steamed display rack. If it looks good eat it . They specialize in dim sum so that's what I went for. No signs posted for social distancing but staff wore face covering and service counter has a huge plexiglass partition. What I ordered: * six pineapple BBQ pork buns. Sweet & savory bun. Too much bun and not enough pork. * one order of pork siu mai - three pieces to an order. I liked the meat consistency and flavor. * one order of har gow - three pieces to an order. Good portion of shrimp with shredded bamboo shoots. Wrapper wasn't too thick. Total amount $17.30 They've got these very colorful dim sum boxes unlike the typical pink paper boxes. More of a lunchbox look. But we're on our ebikes with a tiny bag on the top of the back luggage rack. So in my broken Chinglish I asked her to bag the BBQ pork buns in bags instead. I pointed to the bikes on the sidewalk. She accommodated my request. Three to a plastic bag. That with my order of siu mai and har gow was a perfect fit in the bag. How can you yum cha without the cha? But I had the 叉燒腸粉 & 潮州粉果 (roast pork rice roll & Chui chow [chives and peanut pork] dumpling) and they were both pretty good (4star) for SF. Tried this place out since it's a couple blocks from my relative's house. I ended up trying their siu mai and ciltantro shrimp dumplings. The siu mai were 3/5, a unanimous decision from me, my mom, and brother. The amount of pork to shiitake mushroom and shrimp was overwhelming. There was something missing flavorwise, but the size and texture were solid. The cilantro shrimp dumpling (5/5) tasted fresh, had a good proportion of smooth to textured filling, and the skin was nice and gelatinous. Many times with glutinous rice wrappers, the filling pulls away from the skin and falls apart. Luckily, this didn't happen. Overall, I would definitely try more stuff from here if in the area. read more

I was running errands 10am in the neighborhood and found this dim sum spot. First impression was that their dim sum looks different from many places I've tried. There wasn't a lot of pieces left for certain items so the lady substituted a part of my order. Each dumpling order comes with 3 pieces. I ordered the shrimp dumpling but there was only 2 pieces left so the lady substituted an extra 2 pieces of chive shrimp dumpling yay! I ordered the pork shui mai but they had 2 pieces left so the lady added the chicken Shui Mai on top of my order. I ordered the beef noodle roll, cilantro dumpling and the rice ball. The shrimp dumpling was basic, but solid, I think a little more flavor would be nice. The chive dumpling was flavorful and good. The BBQ pork but had a little crispy top and the meat was flavorful and yummy. But the real star of the show was the PINEAPPLE BUN! Filling could have been a little more flavorful, but its texture is amazing and it's not too sweet. 4/5 Veggie egg rolls were cold and a little chewy. Delicious flavor however. Filling is mostly cabbage, but has notes of caramelized onion. Rich umami flavor, which is surprising considering these are veggie egg rolls. It genuinely tastes like there's meat in it.
