I can't believe how many breakdowns dealing with the vehicle delivery. Worked out the deal on Sat., 12/23, had agreement with Finance and Sales teams to fax signed purchase agreement to my lending source (preapproved). Had a tight window for a Tuesday delivery but was assured they could get it done. Dealership told me that I could take car home Sat. but I told them I wanted to have my final terms and contract completed from my credit union before taking car. 12/26/17 - I began making calls to dealership to push paperwork and call my credit union to close the loop. Spoke with my sales rep around 3:30p to provide loan contact and tracking # for car funds, was assured we could take delivery of car. No word from dealer so called by around 6p. After refusing to get off of the phone, finally spoke to Finance leadership who made executive decision. Had the unfortunate experience of speaking with sales mgr David B. who refused to show any concern about Dimmit's many failure. At one point he told me come get the car or not, he would just sell it to someone else - GREAT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE Dave. Can't believe that Dave would tell any customer this unless this is the CULTURE of the Dimmit brand. Maybe your experience is different but this was by far my worst car buying experience. As I got out of my car there were 3 salesman outside and I walked up to Rafael Londono. Told him what I wanted, Showed him the inventory printout and told him the least I would take for the 2016 Z71 I was trading in. He pulled the car around, I checked it out, wanted it, went back to his office, a few back and forth's on the trade in and I got the exact trade in value I wanted which was Kelly Blue Book's trade in value. Went to Dimmitt to help my ex lease a 2018 vehicle she wanted. Experienced the stereotypical dealer gamesmanship.Once the young sales guy realized that I knew more about leasing than he did , the negotiation changed. He goes to his sale manager, who is glued to his chair behind a managers podium and gets a counter offer to bring to me. I reject it and go to the manager and ask him to sit down with us. The manager does a We want your business pitch to which I essentially reply, Do better or we're done. All of a sudden, the manager produces a "bonus" multi thousand discount enabled by the funds the dealer gets for their volume sales position and exceeding their monthly quota. After 4 hours , a deal was agreed to. If the dealer didn't play games, this process could have been done in under an hour. If my ex hadn't been set on a particular vehicle they had in stock, I would have been out of there in an hour. In their advertising the dealer GM piously states that Dimimitt treats customers better. My experience says No they don't. read more

Just left service dept. I have had my 2016 Trax, from Dimmitt for 2 yrs. At the purchase time I was told GM would pay for 2 yrs of oil changes.. I was talked into buying an additional 2 yrs of oil changes to cover my 4 yr lease. Today I was informed,after the oil change, that I owed for it.. I said no, I bought an additional 2 yrs of oil changes. They found my paper work and it showed they charged me an additional 534.00 for the 2 yrs of oil changes. I wouldn't have paid that much for 2 oil changes.. They sent me to speak with Hatie? A finance mgr. She wouldn't speak with me, but gave me to someone in the next office to talk to. He said they would give me this oil change and 1 more for free. I did inform him, nicely, that they weren't giving me anything, I paid 534.00 for these 2.... Where do I start ....I purchased a 2017 Camaro SS and paid for an extended warranty when buying the car I noticed a couple things that I wanted done, One was the lugnuts on the car were rusted Richard the salesman who lies everyday of his life said "he would get me some new ones" Lies!!! Your dealership took away my right to walk away from a deal that was not done and ended up forcing me into a vehicle that we did not really want, because of necessity and we had to have one, since he had been driving what we thought was our vehicle. It's a good thing we had not decided on the add on's we were planning to complete on the truck before it was rudely and maliciously taken away from us. And in all honesty, had we gone back to Nissan as I wanted, we would have a truck, brand new at that, in our driveway at this time. My experience with Dimmitt Chevrolet has been nothing but lies, deceptions, lack of ethics followed by a lot of bullshit. Starting with the initial Sales Person- Bryan Sparks, the Business Manager- Matthew Blanchard, and the Pre Owned Sales Manager- Jeremy Lansing. What dealership takes you through the entire process, you get to finance to complete your paperwork, verify with Matthew Blanchard, Business Manager, that your financing is finalized and lets you leave the dealership and then two weeks later we receive a phone call from Jeremy Lansing, who was rude, disrespectful and threatened to come take the vehicle back we purchased because our financing was not complete. It was not his problem I was told, that Matthew Blanchard flat out LIED to our face and treated us as if we were the ones who were wrong in this situation. We were still the one who was wrong in this situation and nothing else mattered. So after losing another 3-4 hours of work from my own job for the second time, to deal with another set of lies and poor excuses, we chose another vehicle and go through the paperwork all over again with another business manager, which I had to request because they were going to let me go through this process with the same liar as the first time. Now here we are 3 weeks later and one day prior to the temporary tag expiring, we had to go down to the dealership AGAIN, as we were lied to AGAIN that the tag would be mailed to our address, to find out that we would need to come up with additional funds to pay for the tag. No one was going to say anything and just let it expire and become our problem ONCE AGAIN, piss poor customer service and shady business ethics. Had my fiancé not been extremely pissed, we would have ended up having to fork out more money for YOUR mistakes. Just so EVERYONE knows this dealership doesn't do any diagnostic engine testing prior to selling you a used Chevrolet! They have the capability to run one however their so called 21 point check sales pitch ensuring you that you are getting a vehicle with a sound engine is NOT one of them. My son in law's Malibu engine had 250 warnings for the last 6000 miles. He only drove the car 2800 miles prior to the engine blowing and when we mentioned the diagnostic check that would have warned about the problem to the Service Manager we were told - Engine diagnostics to ensure you are buying a sound vehicle is NOT one of the checks that are done. I went to this dealer and was approved with my own lender they gave me the SUV and two weeks later said they got me a new lender with lower payments but wait here is the kicker I have to leave more money down and my interest rate is 22% when I told them I don't have 5000 to put down they said we need the vehicle back they like to let you take the cars without financing to only tell you to give it back if you don't like there terms sales department are a bunch of thieves and the finance department wants to rip you off for your money BUYER BEWARE..... read more

Worst service department I have ever seen in my life.... Staff is nice/fake we have had 2 vehicle service there and we just cannot deal with them anymore.One of the issues was supposedly fixed and it only took me five minutes to see the problem again win supposedly they drove the car for 30 minutes not to mention they had the car for almost 3 months and didn't notice it..not trying to cry a river about their service department but. I do have to say the sales staff is not much better.. Just make sure you get absolutely everything promise to you in writing its called and I O U .. They also seem to only have one key for the vehicles and no floor mats again this isn't my first purchase with them should've never done it the 2nd time... just to add a little something after this review was posted they had the nerve to actually Call me and ask for me to take this review Down But didn't want to offer anything in return like maybe a free oil change or car wash. Avoid this dealership at all costs. They will not give you a deal on price and they will tell you whatever they have to do to make the sale. We walked out after we were insulted. After we were home a manager called and asked what happened. We told them and they said they were sorry and if we came back they would give us a good price. We thought is was a good price until we looked in the glove box a few days later and found the invoice that is usually on the window. It was for aprox $ 3000 less that what we purchased it for and about $ 6000 less that what we were quoted before we walked out. We were never shown where the service department was. After 30 days we tried to contact them to have our car checked like the salesman said and we were told it was too early for a check. When it came time for an oil check they sent me coupons for a discounted price of $ 69.99. For gods sake that's way overpriced. That's all I have to say about that. read more

EPIC FAIL all around, between sales person, service & detail dept.'s . with having been lied to/mislead how ever you wish to describe it, being sold a car with several safety issues left undiagnosed and dealt with (2 of which were factory recall issues) before this vehicle was allowed to leave the dealership is unexcuseable. where your other dept.'s fail is just plain lazyness. leaving a leaking bottle of lipgloss behind the rear seat, did your detail personel even go over this vehicle?! , lord knows the sales person was quite eager to add around $2000 in so called refurbishment fee's when we were looking to first buy the car. and then around a week after purchase, was asked to bring vehicle back to be serviced to deal with unfunctional headlights, and to find out that the (2) factory recall issues were never done , one of which we didn't even know existed until a seperate chevy dealership informed us of when we were picking up the car after it was finished with service. and as for this so called service, doesn't anyone wash there hands in that shop, or is it just common place to give a vehicle back to a customer with grease and grime on leather seats and surrounding areas of the dash and door trim??!! I only concidered buying this vehicle from your dealership because i figured that it was a large enough business it would have evolved beyond the old school mentality of sloppy service and shady sales tactics of most used car dealerships. but i guess i was wrong, and will never recommend this dealership to anyone, and pray i never have to deal with Dimmitt again in the future. Went into dealership after seeing true car price. I have a 2012 Equinox with 90000 miles and was offered the least appraisal yet. The sales guy actually told me the car was junk and they couldn't sell it. Good to know a four year old Chevy is worthless. Then the guy sat there and told me I will never be able to sell it. After I told him I had financing through my bank Usaa and did not want to go through Chevy got really rude. He even tried to say I was lying about being approved and talked down to us. I guess my first clue should have been when we got there the price of the car was not what was advertised. Managed to get the car for what it was quoted at. There was a 1016. 00 fee for "conditioning" the car, was told it was tuned up, oil changed, brakes checked etc.., well two months, so far needed oil change after 2000 miles, needed tune up done yesterday. The brake lines and trsnsmission need to be flushed. All things i asked about and was assured they were checked and serviced. This was a used car for my son. I expecred certain costs. But the salesman blatantly lied to my face. Will NEVER go to this dealer again and not recommend them. read more

I was in a jam. I was on my way home from work and the tire pressure indicator light came on for my driver's side rear tire. I called Shannon in the Dimmitt service department. She said to come on by, they'll wait for me. It was after their closing time of 6pm. I arrived and discovered I had a nail in the side of the tire, so it could not be driven. Fortunately, Neal, the service advisor, and Sean, the porter, had a loaner vehicle waiting for me just in case. He said he would get me a new tire first thing in the morning... he wasn't kidding! I received a call from him at 7:45am telling me I was all set and to come and pick up my Tahoe. I arrived shortly after 8:30am, paid for the new tire and headed off to work. It's too bad more people don't post about the great experiences they have, as this dealer has always been a class act. read more

On a recent trip to Clearwater from PA, our Chevy Equinox developed a problem as indicated by a flashing red temperature light. As we did not want to drive the car ,we pulled into the nearest dealership ( not Chevy). After having our car for two days, they told us that they couldn't find the problem. We had the car towed to Dimmitt and our problems were solved! From the lovely receptionist that answered the phone we were connected to Neal Thompson the service manager. Neal went far above and beyond our expectations to get the problem diagnosed and to get a difficult job completed very quickly.He also kept us updated so we could enjoy our vacation.
