If I could I would give 0 So it all started because the truck had a light engine hot ac off Everytime they said it was fixed it was not also the horn kept going off for no reason and gauges where going nuts all 4 times the truck was in and they said it was fixed it did it again within 10 miles of picking it up so then they tell me we can't fix it but GM will replace it the guy Bob was adamant that he will get it done and there will be no problems.....Great right GM is standing behind there stuff wrong 3 days later they call and said sorry we can't do anything I have bin lied to yet once again now mind you this truck is under factory warranty so now I have to spend the day at my attorneys office to get this resolved as they gave me a truck back that was said to be safe to drive and is not so now because of safety concerns I will have to take action against GM and the dealership I have had a absolutely horrible experience her every time I've bin here there has always bin a problem took 2 months to get a appointment because they fired a service drive manager or some crap and forgot about me yet I gave them chance after chance loosing money every day we'll see what happens in court I guess sad it has to come to this......Contacted David rudder a total of 6 times not even a call back this is not how business is conducted I will blast this all over the Internet and social media......I was smart and recorded every word will make sure it all hits YouTube in a few days maybe then they will start (doughtfull) start honering what they promise update so also a little while ago right around when this all started they also did a rear main seal and a oil pan gasket which started leaking again also when they did the oil change they cracked the oil filter from over tightning it they also burnt up some wires after removing the transmission from which they told me they did but then but connected them together also they could never fix the horn took it to another dealer horn problem found rear main fixed again oil filter properly put on wiring harness fixed properly and problem found with that light that kept coming on really guys all in writing now all this has to go to my attorney as this is straight up poor workmanship every bit of it then you have the odasity to claim i messed up your "loaner" car and try to put a claim in are you serious we never damaged it period good luck with that as far as your reply to call you lol shouldn't you be calling the customer to make this right after all the down time because of your negligence. scum is one grade higher then you con artist.you guys are in the wrong you did alot of damage to my truck we take our cars and trucks to dealers and pay more for the quality but with you there is no quality period I would highly recommend you make this right before this hits the media and other places.and to everyone else reading this avoid this place like the plaque. read more

I purchased a 2012 Chevy Malibu from Dimmitt last year in Dec. (2012) I needed to take it in for a couple small issues this week. I called to schedule an appointment and got a recording and ask to leave a message and someone would return my call ASAP! It was just a few min. and a very pleasant lady named Shannon returned my call and requested that I explain everything that I had concern with and the reason I wanted to bring in my car. After a few min. of explaining to her she said for me to bring it in Mon. Dec. 9th at 8:30 if that was good with me and if so I would be speaking with Neal Thompson and he was a very nice and friendly person and would take great care of me. i arrived at 8:00 as I wanted to get it in on time and get a ride to work by 9:00am. I pulled in the service drive and a very nice lady came up and ask who I was ask to see and I said Neal Thompson and she said he will be right with you. Within a few seconds Neal walked up and introduced himself and offered a hand shake, he was very courteous and polite and we went over what the issues were and ask if I wanted to wait on the car or needed a ride somewhere. When I said I needed to be at work around 9:00 or so he said I'll get it right in and see what is going on and give you an idea of how long we will need your car. He escorted me into the lounge and offered me coffee or something else to drink and said he would get right on it. Maybe 10 min. went by and Neal came back in and said we will need your car for a while longer so I will put you in a car so you will not be late for work. The treatment I received was unreal, I wondered if they thought my last name was Dimmitt instead of Davis. I was blown away by the professionalism, kindness, true concern for my issues. I really wondered if something was being filmed or I was on TV. I'm 62 yrs. old and I don't even know how many cars and trucks I've had over the yrs. but I can honestly say I've never been treated like this and with the respect and concern I was shown from Neal and everyone I came in contact with from Dimmitt Chevrolet. I had purchased a 2011 Chevy Cruze from Ferman Chevrolet back in May of 2011. I am loyal to a fault so even when I bought a house in Clearwater, I continued to drive to Holiday to have my maintenance taken care of as needed. Last May, while having a recall notice serviced on my Cruze, they informed me of a screw in the sidewall of one of my tires. I had purchase the tire protection, so I wanted to get it changed as soon as possible. They did not have the tire in stock, but had one at one of there other locations and after putting the donut on the car, I was told to come back at 3pm that day and they would put the new tire on. I came back at 3pm and patiently waited to have the tire replaced. At 4pm I noticed that they had not even started on the vehicle. When I asked for an eta, I was told that the service manager had forgot to order the tire in the morning, and they were wating for the tire to arrive. I was not happy. They begged me to stay, even offering free future oil changes, but I would have been willing to forgive if they had been honest from the start but they wasted my time and tried to stall to cover their mistake. I left there and made it to Dimmit service before they closed. Larry Chappel took the time to not only get the tire ordered for delivery for the next day, but he contacted Ferman to get my warranty protection to process the claim. When I came back the next day, Larry had me in and out and no time, and introduced me to the service dept manager. He was terrific. So when I decided it was time to trade in my 2006 Silverado, there was only one place I had in mind. Mark Smyrski was patient and informative as we searched for the truck. Even the the dealership was now closed for the night, Mark worked out a deal with me that night, and I drove home in my new truck that night. Mark even searched to find a box to put my stuff from my old truck into, and even helped me clean it out. Just bought a used truck from Dimmit Chevy - first time buying a vehicle from there. My salesman, Arturo, was very pleasant, patient and not at all condescending, which can sometimes be typical for (used) car salesmen. When it came time to work the numbers, the process can always be a bit touchy, but I must say, between Arturo and the used car manager, (I think his name was either Todd and Jeremy), they were professional and firm, but never overly aggressive or rude (again the typical car buying experience you hear about). Let's face it, we all wish we would get a better deal or should have the vehicle for less, but I think they negotiated in good faith and I feel I got a reasonable deal on my truck. One recommendation - I know this is car buying 101 - but don't forget to check the additional "fees" that most dealers add on. I forgot to factor these in, so I was surprised when the "price" of the vehicle went up almost $2,000! I was certainly aware that there is usually a "dealer" fee, but Dimmit also adds a "Reconditioning Fee" (I'm sure a full discussion on these fees - b.s. or not - could fill an entire discussion, but currently this is the state of the industry). This info was in the on-line add, but was listed in the fine print. Certainly I should have taken the time to read more into the add, but it kind of felt like a bait and switch, especially the "reconditioning fee", when they are already adding on a "dealer fee". Whatever these fees, why not just factor this into the main list price to begin with? I am not necessarily faulting Dimmit, I believe most of the dealers do this. Overall, for a car buying experience, it was good. I would not have a issue going back there if/when I ever need a car in the future. So far, I am very happy with my vehicle - but I have only had it for a short time - only time will tell... read more

I wanted to share my recent experience with your dealership regarding the purchase of a Lexus IS200t 2017 Fsport. Upon my initial visit, I was impressed by the professionalism and assistance provided by Rim, the sales representative. However, I regret to inform you that shortly after acquiring the vehicle, I encountered a concerning issue with the rear tires. Within less than a month of ownership, one of the tires experienced a blowout due to damage to the inner lining, subsequently leading to a flat tire. Upon closer examination, it became apparent that both rear tires were exhibiting premature wear specifically along the inner lining. In my efforts to address this matter, I reached out to Brian Christensen from your team and provided detailed photographs of the tire damage along with the odometer reading. Regrettably, the response received suggested an unsupported conclusion that the tire wear was attributed to excessive burnouts, a claim I find to be unfounded and perplexing. I emphasize that such wear patterns are inconsistent with the notion of burnouts, as they would typically result in uniform tire wear across the entire tread surface. Furthermore, despite my repeated requests, I have yet to receive a comprehensive inspection report or any pertinent documentation pertaining to the vehicle's condition at the time of purchase. This lack of transparency is disconcerting, particularly considering the safety implications associated with tire wear. Given the gravity of this issue and the potential safety risks involved, I feel compelled to escalate this matter further. My family or I could have been seriously injured or worse, had the tire blown out on the skyway or a busy highway. I urge you to reconsider your stance on this matter and work towards a resolution that is fair and equitable for all parties involved. read more

Before leaving Miami, Florida for our two day holiday, as I would like to call at, these folks at Dimmitt Chevrolet prepared all the paperwork, took care of the negotiations through emails, a few faxes and some verbal communications, to make sure we had a smooth transaction. Once the store was opened at 11:30am (yes they let us in early) on Sunday, we got right down to business and in less than an hour and a half the car I had always wanted, the 2016, Triple black, Corvette Z06, C7-R was ready for us to drive home. My entire new car buying experience was wonderful. From the quickness of the online deal e-mail, to the professionalism and kindness in the entire team, buying the 2016 Chevrolet Spark there today was the most pleasant experience of any of the 6 times I have purchased a new car all up and down the east coast of the USA over the past 36 years. My highest praise goes to my Sales Consultant Garret Williams. He is the most genuine individual I have ever purchased a car from, knowledgeable, helpful, with zero pressure and no gimmicks or games. From the moment he greeted me before I made it to the front door to the very end of the process one could not ask for more. When it came to the final negotiations, David Bozan was willing to go the extra mile and a half to get me more for my trade, an educator discount, and the deal-making lowering of the price. At the finance desk, Abe Kheirddine was generous with his time and expertise, making the sometimes tedious process of signing the multitude of forms an enjoyable experience. He also took care of my registration for the following year, as my traded car was just a bit more than a month from renewal, which made it easier to agree to extended the warranty for an additional three years with a minimal monthly payment increase. Right from the start, Christine, the Internet Specialist was prompt with making and returning the initial calls. An unnamed Chevrolet competitor further south on US 19 fell short on every one of the items mentioned above. I saved well over a thousand dollars by driving north. ZERO STARS, and re-posting as Dimmitt must pay for bad reviews to go away, as my review has mysteriously "disappeared". Dimmitt should be renamed "DIMWIT", AVOID THIS STEALER-SHIP AT ALL COSTS! They are going to deny, deflect, deny, lie, and try to shift the blame right back on to you. So here's what happened: I took my 2017 Tahoe in for AC service , under warranty, only around 32,000 miles on it, Dimmitt service said "they couldn't find the Freon leak, so we pumped more freon into the system" . ANYONE who knows AC systems knows they are a sealed system, so putting some Freon back in and sending the customer out the door, is not only negligent, but illegal under EPA regulations. Of course, the slow leak kept the AC working just long enough for Florida to cool off by fall(I took the Tahoe in in mid-June). So Spring 2019 rolls around, and of course all the Freon has leaked out again. Dimmitt won't reimburse my expense because "its out of warranty" and because "I took it to a different dealer". (Duh, why would I go back to an obviously inferior service department, I went to a GMC dealer, who actually TOOK THE TIME TO FIND THE LEAK) So let's watch Dimmitt reply back and DENY and BLAME me - that's their Standard Operating Procedure!!! PLEASE NOTE - You can take your Chevy to ANY GM dealer for service, so if you were unlucky enough to buy from DIM-WIT Chevrolet, by all means, TAKE IT ELSEWHERE FOR SERVICE!!! Now let's all watch them reply and deny, deflect, and blame me, the customer, for their negligence, this stealer-ship is unbelievably smug and doesn't give a damn about their customers. 1 Star only because no option to leave 0 stars! A+++ Experience! With Mark Macintyre AGAIN! I just finished another purchase of a 2015 Silverado Z71 from Mark, I couldn't be happier with the overall experience with him and the Dealership. I purchase a lot of cars each year and really value an efficient accurate experience. Mark , Eli and Don Delivered just that. I wasn't even looking for a Silverado, but after such a comprehensive and detailed overview and test drive with Mark, I was ready. Not only did he find what appears to be the only car in the country equipped exactly as I wanted it, he had it in his possession less than 24 hours after I committed. On top of that the pricing, paperwork and overall delivery was 100% accurate, not one issue or error. I wish all my dealers could operate like that. I posted a review about a week ago and gee! It has been taken down?? If you are considering a new car purchase DO NOT GO TO DIMMITT CHEVY.Typical bait and switch! They post a price on the web site, When you get their they inflate the price several thousand dollars. They promise you all kinds of phoney incentives to justify the inflated price. you do not receive any incentives. they subtract them from the inflated price, which means they are not giving you anything. I contacted GM and they told me that the dealership is independently owned and they can not control any of the deceptive practices they may use, and than refer you back to the dealer you were deceived by. If you go to Kelly Blue Book reviews you will see dozens of these type reviews. If you like your money, do not do business here. I wish I hadn't. Go to Ferman Chevy.I contacted the dealer two days after I purchased the truck to let them know I had a bad tire and was told by Scott Collore that I hit something and the tire was not covered by the bumper to bumper warranty. And the dealer prep charge is a scam aswell. I was checking the truck out when I got home and found all the tires had different air pressures and the engine oil was a quart low on a truck with 43 miles on it, so I can only speculate the prep fee is to have someone spray armor all on the tires, that I spent an hour scrubbing off both sides of the truck when I got home an hour later read more

These folks are incredible and buying my Corvette was the best car buying experience I have had in over 40 years. As soon as you approach the front door they hold it open for you, offer you coffee with a warm smile and ask what they can do for you. I knew I wanted a Corvette and have since I was 10 years old, but I don't like to be pressured and I wasn't. I was shown a 2016 Stingray Corvette and me and Chris took if for a ride as he explained more about the car than I knew I could possible remember, but I was impressed with product knowledge. The gave me a fair offer and I took it! I love this car! I wound up getting Zylon, a protective coating for inside and out, added a spoiler and even though it was the wrong color they repainted it right away and gave me a rental car for free for 2 days. 2 different brand new cars! Nothing was ever forced on me and the Service Manager, Sales Manager, Salesman, Body shop Manager, administrative at entrance and everyone else I met were awesome! I asked about the best place to get me ne Corvette washed and the body shop guy said bring it in here and we will wash it for you when need for a small fee. He said, I would not just put that through and old car wash...I highly recommend this dealership should you be in need of a new or pre-owned vehicle. Regards, Danny read more

Wonderful experience getting a car here! And I never thought I would ever say that about a car buying experience! So my husband and I started our car search at the wrong place (see my review about Bradon Ford... It's BAAAAAD) but then we found a pre-owned car online at Dimmit Chevy and we decided we would take a look at it. Our sales person was Bryan S and he is GREAT. After we found out the out-the-door price and we told him our budget, it was clear that we were going to do some hardcore negotiating. And that's what we did. It started right there at our first visit, then we left to collect our kids from school and my husband returned in the afternoon to hopefully seal the deal. It took 2 more hours and some sweat, blood and tears, but Bryan was able to go down to our price and my husband brought home our almost-brand-new car that evening. They were ready to make a deal, probably because we were cash buyers and because it is the end of the year. Bryan was nice and respectful and worked so hard to make it happen. I highly recommend this dealership, where they appreciate the customers and their hard-earned money! read more

If there was an option to leave 0 stars that would be what I would give it. A company that is just out for people's money. Purchased my car in Sept. of last year and have had to bring it in every 2-3 months, recent visits (Feb, June and Aug) have been AC related.Three visits within several months of each other for AC issues is a bit ridiculous. Why is it not being fixed? Seems to me that the Service Dept. does not stand by their word. I received my car back today, 8/24/16, after being denied repairs. The entire carpet in the car is ruined due to the AC dripping that has created mildew build up. I was told that it would cost $1100 to replace the carpet, flush out the ac, unblock the hose, and change the cabin filter, Did I mention the best part? The hose clogged due to leaves. After talking with a man on the phone about them honoring the work that has clearly not been fixed after the second visit, he refused to admit that they made a mistake and told me they are refusing to do any repairs on it. Don't suggest this place to anybody, they are not out for people's best interest when it comes to their cars. read more

Upon first walking in unannounced and meeting with Chris Nance, my auto specialist and sales rep, I have always been treated courteous and honest. Christ provided all of the information about the vehicle that I was looking at, shared the latest stats on the vehicle and never once tried to coerce me to take a particular vehicle or deal. Strictly a business deal between two professionals. Chris calls me from time to time to ask how the vehicle is performing and meeting the needs of my business. I have leased two vehicles from this dealership and use their service often. Sales is excellent because they help me from home and it was quick and easy... Just go pick up the car after the deal was agreed. New cars were perfect and it was a painless process. Unlike typical dealerships, service seems very respectful of my time. I can get in and out after a reasonable wait for the service needed...or a loaner car. Prices are also very fair even compared to small shops. Treatment is second to none. Lately I've seen a little bit of press about dealer markup on a new Z06. I don't know about the rest of you but I live in America where any of us are allowed to ask whatever we want for anything we own and we will either have a lot of takers or we will be sitting with it a long time. I don't think any of us wants to sell anything that we own for less than we could possibly get. I only wish I could have bought that car at MSRP... So I could go make another hundred thousand dollars on it LOL read more
