Love this place! Keep going back. Has a 50's diner ambience that they did so well. Some foods I have tried include the French dip, biscuits and gravy, different coffees and a milkshake, all sooooo good. Services is excellent, felt like family on the first visit. Sparkling clean. I will continue to go with my daughter every chance I get. The food is delicious, the portions are reasonable and decent for the price. The prices are reasonable and fair even with today's economy. The service is excellent and fast, they accommodate for almost anything you ask for. They will make pretty much anything on the menu (and probably off the menu too) exactly how you like it. Went in on 1/18/25 Saturday morning at 11:00am an obvious workers young son went into the front refrigerator and take a can of whipped cream out and take lid off and place tip INTO mouth and squirt some whipped cream out put the lid back on and place RIGHT BACK into the refrigerator. This is the first time I have eaten here in quite a while. I stopped in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to see "I love Lucy" reruns being projected on the wall. It really added to the "retro" feel of the diner. Soon after seating myself I was greeted and my drinks followed soon after. Very friendly staff and quick. As I peered into the menu I have to admit it seemed a little simple. Half of the page is breakfast and half lunch. I assume the entire menu is available at any time as there were no indications on the menu. I opted for breakfast and ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. Maybe 10 minutes after ordering I had a hot plate comfort food in front of me and some jelly for my toast. The CFS was a nice size and held up its crispy crust throughout the entire meal while being smothered in sausage gravy. My two eggs were cooked correctly over medium and had a nice crispy edge to them. Country potatoes I opted for were good but I could have used a little more as the portion seemed kinda small and I generally like my potatoes crispy and these were not. Maybe next time I will try the hash browns. read more
