Theres so many ding teas close to my house but this location has always been my favorite. Parking here was easy, even with the huge Korean festival going on. Boba was great as always, nice and soft, and chewy with great flavor. My jasmine green tea was perfectly crafted. I'm always greeted with a friendly smile here. Enjoyed the decor and chilled on the nice chairs as I waited for my drink. Then enjoyed the live music in the center of the shopping center as I walked out. This place is soooooo darn cute and their boba drinks are delicious!! I got the signature milk tea. The tea was fragrant and there was a good balance between the milk and the tea. Some places can't nail the milk to tea ratio and their drinks end up very milky. I can actually taste the tea at this Ding Tea! I made the mistake, AGAIN, of ordering from this particular location through Door Dash. And ONCE AGAIN they screw up on the order! I don't get how difficult it could be just reading off of the screen. Not only did they mess up on our order, they don't even put straws in the bag.... wth?!?! How are your customers suppose to drink without a straw!!! It's not a normal drink, so a normal size straw won't work. This is ridiculous, my fault for ordering from them again so this is definitely my last time. I was in Buena Park for a cousins wedding. I hadn't been to this part of town in years and things had changed quite a bit. Ding Tea is located inside a shopping mall on the lower level kind of close by a cosmetics store. I arrived in the afternoon after the lunch hour and this place was pretty busy. The cashiers made sure people moved through the line quickly which is a tall order considering all of the drink and topping orders you can create. I opted for the lychee tea with lychee jelly and original boba. I asked for 1/2 the sugar and 1/2 the ice. I was very happy with the result. The tea flavor really came through and didn't just taste like sugar water. The boba consistency was spot on as was the lychee jelly. The store itself was very clean and had a nice floral wall that seems to draw a lot of attention for photo purposes. If you're in the area I'd recommend stopping by, I know I will next time I'm around! read more

Yo this place is good cuh!! So like... the other day... for grand opening I came by with my friend the lil tall looking boi mountain looking like and he has history of banging on dem boba places and when he came to this store, his expectation was honestly pretty low. We came in the store at around 6:15 pm and it was not really crowded, the amount of customers were bareable and at the same time, we felt welcomed due to the fact that the workers greeted us pretty well and they seem to really care about us as we walked in. As we start ordering, we were assisted by this one worker. She was really nice and cute!! She really helped us a lot on what drink to choose and about only 3 minutes after we ordered, the drinks came out. The vibe of the place is hella nice cuh, and like the seats are so comfortable, better than any other ding tea places fosho! other than that, the drinks were super good, the amount of flavor is not too much but also not too less, It is enough and In my opinion that's what matters the most in a boba drink. I really appreciate that you can adjust the sweetness level, and "slight" was just right for me. Their cups are pretty cute too, and made of a thicker plastic (?) than other places, if that matters at all. And, of course, this location (I haven't been to others to compare) has the gorgeous flower wall for all your IG picture needs. This is my new favorite boba shop in town! I came here on a Thursday afternoon with my sister. I ordered the matcha milk tea with golden boba and my sister ordered the grapefruit green tea no sugar. The matcha milk tea had the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess. My sister really liked the grapefruit green tea too. If you don't like sweet things, I'd say no sugar for the fruit teas are good. The boba was nice and chewy too. The workers were both really nice and although there were a few people ahead of me, drinks came out fairly fast. The interior of this place is really nice too! I have been to this Ding Tea several times and their drinks are consistently on point every time. I love their hazelnut coffee and taro milk tea. My family thoroughly enjoy their signature milk tea. One tip though...if you like your coffee on the stronger side, I suggest asking for extra shots. They'll be happy to accommodate. Their staff is super friendly and nice. I docked one point for messing my orders twice. I guess I shouldn't be too harsh since I order 6 drinks every single time I go (family of shameless Ding Tea addicts) and each customized to our liking. This recent time was immediately corrected by one of the owners. Highly recommend this place for their drinks and friendly service. And their Instagram-worthy flower wall? Cherry on top! read more

This place is meh, okay. The staff werent friendly and helpful and rather gossip than help customers. I had to say "excuse me" to get someone to take my order. My boyfriend ordered the signature and it was 90% milk maybe 10% tea and super watered down with a lot of ice despite asking for less ice. I ordered the Hokkaido oolong milk tea and it was also very watered down. I asked for no ice and my order had ice all the way to the top. The service I received today here was excellent. I don't know her name, but a young woman with big metal glasses was helping me. I needed to make several specifications with my drinks and she was so helpful and patient in assisting me, very polite. The drinks tasted better than at other Ding Teas I have been to. Maybe I was lucky, I will have to come back to see how consistent they are. Anyway, great job to the management team. The decor here is adorable. There's little round tables and a flower wall for pictures!!! The tea selection is decent as well. Ranges from straight up fresh tea to yogurt. With so many options I couldn't decide what to get. Thankfully the cashier, Tyrone, guided me through the options and helped me pick out my drinks. I ended up with- The Hokkaido (3/5) was really strong and had a lingering aftertaste which I'm not sure I enjoy. It's on the sweeter side but sweetness is adjustable here so be warned. The Winter melon tea (4/5), can't go wrong with wintermelon The Taro Milk tea (5/5) was perfect, I normally would not go for taro at boba stores because they make it super powdery however the cashier recommended it and I LOVE IT. It's creamy and maintains the authentic taro taste to it with the perfect level of sweetness!!! Highly recommend!!! The Lychee Yakult (5/5) is great for a hot day. Better drink it fast though because it melts pretty quickly. I love how sweet the drink is while tasting like a fresh lychee. Sweet with the bit of sourness fruits have, which I guess is the Yakult part of the drink. A bit on the expensive side though with the add ons and upgrades. The Boba (2/5) itself is more on the chewy side, not really my thing but if you're into that than this is your place. (Check in on yelp for a free topping/upgrade) There was a slight line when I came in but the staff handled everything pretty quickly. Even with my indecisive self I made it out of the register and got my drinks within minutes. Thanks to the staff for making this a great experience!!! I ordered a jasmine milk tea got 50% sweetness, and it tasted like 0%. There was no flavor. It was so bad we went back and asked for it remade. They remade it with 100% sweetness and it tasted like 50%. The tapioca balls itself do not have much flavor, and the tea is not very sweet at all. read more

Located at the source mall. Structure Parking is plentiful. Hokkaido milk tea with coffee jelly is delicious but extremely sweet even at 30% sugar! Matcha milk tea is comparable to other boba places. We love that all the toppings are delightfully chewy and that sugars and ice level are customizable. Prices are very reasonable compared to other boba places. read more
